Comments:MKT 3305 - Literally the best/my favorite professor I've had at Baylor so far. She is so understanding and makes the classes fun and engaging. Take her if you can!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - THE BEST! I definitely recommend Dr. Mirabito for marketing. She is the kindest professor and really cares about not only her students understanding in class but also their long term success. She has so much marketing experience that she applies the class and her class is honestly so interesting. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:5310 - She knows what she is talking about. But, if you do not understand something she is very mean. She will say you did not try enough and not offer actual help for improvement.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 3305 - Mirabito is an awesome teacher. This class will teach you so much about marketing and business in general. The semester long project is challenging but enjoyable. Don't be fooled into thinking the tests will be easy. Study well and you'll be fine. Take this class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 3305 - Dr. Ann Mirabito KNOWS. HOW. TO TEACH. MARKETING. Some may criticize her class as "straight-from-textbook" or "too simplistic," but she has created an engaging, interactive approach to learning each of the facets of the field, including research, pricing, supply chains, and advertising. She uses in-class activities along with the semester project to stress different parts of the course, which is both challenging and rewarding because she is clear about her expectations and guidelines. The project itself can be a bit tedious and difficult (especially in poor groups), but for me was enjoyable. This class is an accurate representation of the field, and is worthwhile to anyone who wants a big-picture look at business.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 3305 - Mirabito is an odd character but she is very intelligent. The class itself is a piece of cake but the big group project is a pain in the butt. Make sure you don't procrastinate on the project and really work hard on it throughout the semester and you will do fine. The tests are all multiple choice. She gives us a helpful review sheet for all the tests. There are online quizzes which are very easy as well. I wish I would have tried a little harder. I don't think it's hard to get an A in here.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3305 - Mirabito clearly has a passion for marketing and frequently has speakers during class time. Expect chapter quizzes the night before every class period and a test every four or so chapters. Tests cover what you've been quizzed on in the chapter quizzes and cover predominantly book material. The most difficult aspect of the class is the group project because it is time consuming and there is little feedback throughout.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3305 - I love Mirabito! She knows what she is talking about. I thought her class was very interesting and I learned a lot from her. The project was challenging and some parts of it were not necessary, but the end project was worth it. If you aren't interested in marketing this may not be the class for you. She made concepts easy to relate to. Take her!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:MKT 3305 - Mirabito is a very good teacher. She knows what she is talking about and has set up the class very well. For the tests look at the vocabulary in the back of the book for the chapters and memorize them! Then do the online games and quizzes the book offers. Do those for the tests and you will do great! Don't forget about the quizzes for every chapter, pretty much a quiz once maybe twice a week. Do the bonus points she offers. Really does help your grade. And your project will take a lot of time and consume your life for at some point. But work hard on it and shoot for an A.   - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3305 - Mirabito was great. The tests weren't hard at all, I studied the night before for each one and got As on all of them. The group project counts a lot, too and as long as you visit her office and make sure she understands your innovation and you listen to her advice, you are golden. Take Mirabito, her class is super engaging, as well.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:A - This class is so easy. Take the online quizzes twice and write down the questions because she puts some of them on the test and everyone has different quizzes. Group project sucks but it's graded very easily. She's very smart and qualified - I have no idea why she'd choose teaching over her previous jobs at Time Warner and Frito Lay. She's also very entertaining and doesn't bore the class by reciting random definitions...take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - semester project is time consuming and lots of online quizzes over book, but all of it was relatively easy. she is a good teacher. always open to suggestions and if you ask her to move a class deadline for projects she typically lets you  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 3305 - Dr. Mirabito is one of the best professors I have had at Baylor. Every class is engaging and relevant to the coursework. She is always using real life examples to make the class more relatable. You do a considerable amount of group work but it always seems scarier in the beginning than it actually is. You'll have quizzes over every chapter but you get two chances to get the grade you want. She expects students to be engaged in class and to be doing excellent work, but she completely sets you up for success. You'll have four tests (including the Final), chapter quizzes, group projects grades, and a few other assignments here and there. Dr. Mirabito is consistent in giving constructive criticism on projects to help you do better the next time. She offers some extra credit as well. Take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 3305 - Quizzes over each chapter (19), 3 tests, Final and Project. Do good on project it counts 50% of final grade. Offers extra credit but not really worth all the work. Tests&quizzes are very difficult and are M.C. Know all definitions and several examples of each!! READ chapters BEFORE lecture&print out her notes its very helpful!! Book is fun to read too!! :)  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:MKT 3305 - Dr. Mirabito is one of the best teachers I've had at Baylor. She keeps things interesting and simple. The tests are based on the concepts in the book which is a good read. Focus on doing well on the group project and taking all extra credit opportunities.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Dr. Mirabito is one of the most engaging professors I've had. On most days, class is genuinely entertaining. The only homework assignments are online quizzes that have to be completed before each class period, but they have a 25 minute time limit and you will usually finish them in less than 10 minutes. For the most part, the tests are not that difficult. If you don't like to study for tests, you may do fine on the first one, as the material it covers is mostly common sense; however, the other tests are over substantially more difficult material. If you buy the book, you get access to online study materials that are a huge help. There are practice quizzes to take and most of the test questions come directly from those, or at least closely resemble them. The marketing project is fairly involved, but it can also be very rewarding. As long as you try to get along with the people in your group, you won't have any problem with it. Take a look at her resume and you would think that she would have plenty of reason to be arrogant and condescending toward her students, but she ends up treating her students with more respect than most professors. She treats her classes as if they are a team of which she is the captain. OVERALL, absolutely take her class if you can. You won't regret it.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2009-01-05

Comments:3305 - Her class is pretty easy. The project is more time consuming than most (except chonkos) tests are pretty much applying definitions and from her daily quizzes. Shes nice but sometimes seems too fake, she doesn't take time to learn your name and makes you use a nametag (yes like 1st grade) throughout the semester. classes are pretty boring and mostly off the powerpoint but you can skip them and still do well on the tests. I would take her again  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2008-12-19

Comments:MKT 3305 - Very easy class, the tests aren't hard and the project gives you 1/3 of your final grade and is easy to make an A on. I really don't like marketing but she made the class interesting at least.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2008-12-16

Comments:MKT 3305 - Straight forward...couldn't be easier...I mean go to class, tests aren't worth too much (10% each) and do a really good project. Also, she lets the best speakers speak so you don't have to present if you don't want to! That was awesome because the good presenters got us all good grades... shes practical because shes been in the real world. I would take her again, no doubt.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Mirabito is a welcome change to the typical Baylor professor who will tell you that you did not get the grade you wanted because you are not working hard enough. She makes class interesting and does not try to catch anyone off gaurd with difficult questions. There are reading quizzes over all chapters in the book that are relatively easy, 3 tests, a final, and a huge project that will consume the entire semester. Don't get me wrong, this class is a lot of work, but at least it is tolerable. Trust me, Mirabito is the best choice for this class, you will not regret it!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:mkt 3305 - TAKE MIRABITO!!! AWESOME LADY!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MKT 3305 - What an awesome professor. In my 3 years at Baylor I have yet to meet a professor as kind and helpful as this woman. She wants every student to do well and she will do whatever it takes to help you succeed. The Marketing 3305 class is a heavy workload no matter who you take, but TAKE MIRABITO!! She also offers tons of extra credit opportunities. Best Prof in the business school!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MKT 3305 - She is so cool! Very, very helpful. Really wants you to succeed in the course and understand the material. The project is 30% of your grade (10% free 100 peer review). Tests are half (pretty simple). And the rest is made up of small projects you should really get an A on. So think about it, with the peer review and small projects, 30% of your grade should be a very, very high A, no excuse. Make a good presentation for the project, and Low B's on the tests and you have a high B or A. online quiz before each class, not bad. GREAT GREAT prof, i would highly reccomend her, good real world experience as well  - Grade In Class:A
