Comments:4345 - Dr. Pruss is easily the most intelligent person I've ever met. He's a renowned academic, but you wouldn't know it from how he acts because he is incredibly humble and manages to make all the material simple enough to help the class understand it. He made himself very available to students and seemed genuinely happy to help. He is very reasonable regarding homework. We only had one assignment per week but if it was late for a good reason or you had difficulty understanding it, he would accommodate. He clearly outlined what would show up on tests and graded them more than fairly. It was a privilege to learn from this man for a semester and I would highly recommend him.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:4321 - Metaphysics was the best course I've taken at Baylor in my 3 years here. Dr Pruss is brilliant, but so humble. He listens to and seriously considers students' questions/ideas and gives a fair, well-reasoned answer every time. Despite the fact that most of us in the class were neither as intelligent, nor anywhere close to as well-read/experienced in philosophy, he never treated us as if we were anything but equals. I've never met anyone more acutely aware of and honest about the problems of his own positions and the merits of those with which he disagrees. Take him for anything you possibly can.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2305 - Dr. Pruss is probably the smartest man I've ever met. His class stimulated my thinking so much. By far one of my favorite classes I've taken. The structure is really cool too. You have to write one essay a week but thoes are the only grades. No tests at all. He also grades pretty easily. There's an optional final but you probably won't need it. Definitely a class you should take if you're on the fence.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PHI 2305 - Honestly, he's smart and all that, but he doesn't really teach the students. Rather, he paces back and forth and seems to be reciting arguments to himself. I've been getting A's on his papers, but I don't really like his teaching style. I don't learn much in his class, because he speaks really fast and sounds more like he's talking to himself than to us. Sometimes I feel like we are all air to him, and he's alone in the room or something. He's really not teaching, and it's hard to follow his thoughts. It's only a 2000 level class, but the difficulty level or the way he recites arguments makes it feel more like a graduate level class. He's a smart person, and I really want to learn from him. He's just got to be more aware of the students' existence and attend to them. He's a great philosopher.. but a great teacher?... ehhh maybe not.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Metaphysics - Dr. Pruss is one of Baylor's most well-known professors. He came from Georgetown to help Baylor's 2012 Goal. He is very nice and humble despite being such a renowned academic which is somewhat unusual. Metaphysics is very complex and the articles take a long time to digest. There is a paper due once a week over one of the articles and it requires some original argumentation. There are no tests or quizzes but the denseness of the articles makes this a fairly difficult class. He is always willing to help so if you don't understand the articles, go to his office. If you want to take Metaphysics, I couldn't imagine a better mind to learn from than Dr. Pruss.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1308 - Dr. Pruss is a great professor for intro to philosophy. There is reading for every class but it is not that hard and doesnt take that long. He goes throught the 10 commandments so it is really a relatable class. Grading wise there are 3 papers, 1 presentation, a midterm, a final, and random quizes. I took this class early in the morning so he did put me to sleep a few times but overall I think he is a great professor. Oh yeah, beware...Pruss is a pacer. I cant tell you the number of times he would walk back and forth and back and forth....  - Grade In Class:B+
