Comments:ENV 3314 - This is the worst professor I have ever had at Baylor. Her lectures are completely useless for the exams. She talks about stuff that won't be on the exams. Everything for the exams is contained in the PowerPoint slides; you can literally read them the night before and do well. To be fair, the lecture material is probably the most boring stuff known to mankind, so it's practically impossible to make this crap interesting. But having to listen to her ramble for over an hour about this stuff is just absolutely excessive. No one in the class wanted to be there; everyone I talked to said it was like torture. She is extremely disorganized when it comes to posting things on Canvas. She is one of those professors who doesn't put your grade into the Canvas, so you have to calculate it yourself and play guessing games on what you are going to need on the final. And then she doesn't even tell you what you got on the final; she just enters your grade into BearWeb without explanation. There are random homework assignments that she has you do that are pointless. The exams are almost entirely free response and handwritten. There are only two, so you can't screw up on either of them, or you're gonna basically fail. There is a term paper that I am pretty sure she doesn't read and just gives everyone a 95, with no comments on why you get that grade. She has no scheduled office hours, so good luck trying to see her. I would just say she is an egotistical asshole in general, a pretty unpleasant person to have to deal with. Take this class, having been warned.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENV 3314 - Dr Bruce is very cool. Two tests, a few homework assignments, and a paper. The tests and the paper were all 25% and she didn't put any grades on blackboard all semester. She wants the paper to be scientific. The fact she puts nothing on blackboard except her lectures is scary and nerve wracking but she was a pretty good teacher. Take her unless you're a nervous person and would be troubled by her lack of grades. She gives most of them back in class but the final and the paper I still have no idea how I did on  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FYS 1399 H - Dr.Bruce is my favorite professor at Baylor, no contest. She is very interested in what she is teaching and wants to get you interested and excited about it as well. Her real world experience brings a lot to the class and makes it really fun. Some of what you learn can make you afraid to go outside, but that's part of the class. She even offers opportunities to visit her lab if you're interested in research. Dr.Bruce really wants you to succeed in her class. The format for the class is power-points but Dr.Bruce keeps it from being boring. She tells you what's important to know for the tests. The tests are kind of hard, but as long as you put a decent amount of time into studying what she told you to, you will make an A. The test has a handful of multiple choice that are all very easy and are meant to give you easy points. The rest of the test is short answers and essays. Dr.Bruce also gives almost daily opportunities for extra credit. They'll be worth a point each, but they add up. I would say DEFINITELY take Dr.Bruce if you can.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FYS 1399 - Dr Bruce is very helpful and so nice...she responds to emails fast and she is also willing to help you when you need it. The tests are easy because they're straight from her lecture notes and powerpoints. I didn't like her teaching style or the class so much in that I didn't really learn anything in depth or as much as I would have liked to because it was always about just memorizing lists and facts for tests. Actually applying the subject matter wasn't very significant except for the one or two days her grad student came to teach and actually made the concepts easier for us to understand. Dr Bruce is great however, but I would recommend taking her for a higher level class that she would seem more passionate to teach  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:Bio 4344-Toxicology - Dr. Bruce is one of the best profs at Baylor! She is very nice and always willing to help you. She replies back to emails super fast and helps you in anything. The class is not bad at all for an upper level biology class. The tests are straight from the lecture notes she gives us and there are no suprises on there. She is not like other upper level profs who try to trick you. Just study the lecture notes and you will def get an A! The grades percentages were distributed out so that doing bad on one test or something wont bring you down a lot. We had to summarize some scientific articles, they should be pretty easy to summarize. If you pretty much come to class and pay attention and not fall asleep you get a 100 on your participation grade(its 10% of your total grade). The final was just like the other tests. She is super nice and very understanding. I would def recommend Dr. Bruce and Toxicology to anyone! I thought it might be a super hard class but she makes it easy and doable. This class is a whole year in medical school but she cuts off lots of stuff to make it one sem. She is super smart and if you have questions ask her, she has a M.D, PhD.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:Toxicology - Dr. Bruce is truly one of the finest professors at Baylor. I had her for both Toxicology and Environmental Health. The classes only had two tests each (a midterm and a final), however the rest of your grade is composed of homework assignments and a research paper. She's very intelligent, very helpful and wants her students to perform well. If you are struggling, go see her during office hours. As are completely doable in both classes with effort.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3333 - She's great! 2 tests, a paper, and a few super simple hw assignments. Tons of extra credit opportunities, it's hard not to make an A, even if you don't do so well on one of the tests. She's a great person who really loves what she teaches, and makes the class interesting. She does a review before both tests that is jeopardy style, so if you read over your notes before that (which she posts on blackboard) then you'll be fine. I would recommend her to anyone!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3314 - Env Health: I loved her! The class is very interesting and she includes little tidbits of information that help enjoy the class. Two tests, one research paper and a few homework grades. She explains everything really well and the tests are a good exercise of what was taught in class. Your hand will hurt after the tests though... my hurting hand is the only complaint I have, and I'm just being funny.  - Grade In Class:A
