Comments:3364 - I'm going to be honest, this class is boring. I love fashion history in my free time, but this class has too many things trying to be learned at once. Professor Yoo is extremely sweet, but the way attendance is taken, as small little assignments, is my least favorite way to do it ever. I have no real qualms with this course, it just has too much content to be one class to dive into anything more than surface. The exams are easy, just straight off of the participation pages that you get to take back after completion. This classes style is just not for me personally, I don't like slides being read off of and being babied in a higher level class.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ADM 1300 - I just cannot say enough kind things about Dr. Yoo. He is the most gentle, passionate professor and he wants his students to be knowledgeable about what he teaches. All of his exams are online and follow the participation quizzes you take in class. The quizzes are not graded on correctness and he gives you the answers at the end. You have homework, but it is like four questions and so simple. I kid you not, I had a 99 as a grade the entire semester. Do yourself a favor and take this class!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ADM 1300 - Dr. Yoo is very understanding and a great professor! He is definitely one of my favorites by far and is very sweet. Although there is a bit of work for this course, I still managed pretty well. The test questions are taken right from quizzes and notes/discussions which is really nice. :-)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ADM 1300 - He is so CUTE. I loved him. He is very passionate about the subject and extremely helpful. Quizzes and classwork every day so you should go to class to get points the easy way. (These are completion grade) He is kind of hard to understand sometimes because of his thick asian accent but he puts so much effort into the class. He wants you to get a good grade. Gives out so many extra credit options.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Multiple - Mr. Yoo's class is always very easy with very minimal outside of class work. I highly recommend his classes to non-majors that need GPA boost!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Dr. Yoo is so adorable! He really cares about his subject and tries his best to get everyone interested in the material. His tests are straightforward from the notes and the short-answer questions are straight from the reading assignments. The reading assignments are given weekly. They take about 15 minutes and all you need to do is skim through the book to find the answers. This is the only thing you need the book for... He assigns one group research paper. Fifteen pages on a topic you and your group choose. Each group had 4-5 people, so three pages per person is not much at all. However, don't procrastinate on the paper... I would definitely recommend Yoo! His class was an easy "A" and he's a fun professor to have. This class is not about fashion, it is mainly about why people buy what they buy, how consumers are influenced, and their behaviors.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Dr. Yoo is great! He is absolutely hilarious without trying to be. The class is an easy A. We had a chapter review do every week that took about 15-20 minutes on average to complete. His tests are extremely easy if you study what he tell you to. We had a group project and a news notebook due at the end of the semester. They were both easy but took effort and time to complete. He also takes participation points every class. Sometimes we had pop quizzes but he gave us all the answers. If you need extra credit, he gives you opportunities. There is no reason you shouldn't make an A! I would recommend this class to anyone needing any extra hours.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - I loved Dr. Yoo he is probably the cutest little man ever! his class was super easy and very little prep for each class. The tests are very easy and there is no way you cant make an A in the class. He has pretty bad english but it doesn't matter because you get the gist of what he is saying. Take him for every class you can! He is my favorite prof so far!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FCS 1300 - The class was such a bore. SUCH. The 1 hr 15 min drags on like no other. The weekly assignments are easy, the tests are easy. Go to class, take good notes, memorize the vocab, and the A will just fall into your lap. Do the extra news presentations, they'll help you out. And don't procrastinate the final projects. The News Notebook takes about an hour per article (14 articles) and the group project was just too much. In my opinion, he asked too much of us for a beginning fashion course. Speaking of "fashion course", the title is misleading. It is more about consumer behavior, very little to nothing about fashion. Take FCS 1391 if you want to deal with fashion more than consumer behavior / the market, etc. Suchhh a nice man, get on his good side, I'm sure it'll help you out in the end.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Yoo is a really nice guy, don't get me wrong, but probably the most boring class I have ever taken. The class overall is extremely easy because of the weekly homework and would take Yoo just for that again. His tests are very up in the air for the fact that you don't know exactly how hard they will be or how exactly to study. He changes his grading systems alot but probably because he is new. Since the class is Apparel In Today's Society, I did expect my teacher to know about today's fashion trends. But I found Yoo asking the students more about what was going on because he is still new to the US. (thats a bit annoying). Sweetest teacher in the world though.   - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1300 - Dr. Yoo is a really nice teacher, and if you show effort and do the super easy weekly reading assignments and memorize the vocab words, your sure to get an A. Just watch out for the final projects, they can take awhile if you wait till the last minute. His tests can be tricky because of the wording, and it seemed like the difficulty varied from test to test, maybe just because he is new. He tries to keep the class entertained, but it can get boring. Overall, he has a great attitude despite being shy, and he knows his stuff.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FCS 1300 - At first it seemed as they this professor spoke very bad english-- he's korean. But in fact he speaks english well. He's always prepared, always on time, and generally delivers well in the classroom. Plus he's a nice guy. But when I took his class there was a problem with his grading. Sometimes he makes very small grammar errors and his questions are bad questions. Also the percentages he listed for the graded items in the course on the syllabus--weren't used to calculate the grade. He used blackboard for grading, and it changed the value percentages for many of the items. It happened to affect my grade by lowering it about 6 points. So Instead of an A/B+, I got a B. Big deal? He emailed me telling me it was the same and that it didn't matter (before I saw the grade)-- I can only assume it's because he did it for everyone. But my grade was lowered by it. So pay attention because this could happen to you.  - Grade In Class:B
