Comments:5320 - I really enjoyed international business law. Agee is so kind and willing to work with students. She does go on tangents but they often help me remember content better for exams. our class was basically all exams and chapter quizzes but they were relatively easy if you went to class and listened. I would recommend the class for a masters program. I took agee for undergrad 3305 as well and enjoyed having her as a teacher  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - To start- I don't think this class is all that difficult. However Agee is extremly frustrating. First of all, her lectures are extremly disorganized, and she goes on long unhelpful tangents. Also, she's constantly changing due dates, and weaponzies exams to encourage certian behaviors in class. Comments:3305 - I took this class over the summer, and I do not recommend. She did not par down the workload at all, and I was supposed to be reading about one to two hours every day. There's no way I'm doing that, so I did meh in the course. Tests weren't horrible, but again, workload is just a slaughter. Comments:BL 3305 - She is an amazing professor! I am not a native english speaker, when I signed up for this course in summer 2, I was very scared because it is said that the workload of this course is very heavy. But luckily she is a professor who thinks about her students! She will revise a study guide for each of our exams. Believe me, as long as you study hard, you can get an A in Dr. Agee's class! The only reason I got a C was because I was in the contracts chapter, but I'm still glad I took her class!  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:BL 3305 - Dr. Agee is a super great professor and is really funny. Up front she posts all the notes you need for the semester on canvas, only downside is if you want a hard copy (which you need for her class since she does not allow laptops) you have to print every single sheet out which really eats into your PawPrints money. But they make it really easy to follow along in class & you can add whatever you feel necessary to them. But overall this class is a lot of reading that is often hard to get through, especially early on in the semester. My one problem with Dr. Agee is that we ended up becoming a whole class period behind, so at some points we were cramming things in when they should have a whole class period dedicated to them. This was mainly a result of her entertaining individual's questions that went beyond the scope of the course too long & doing mini-"improv" scenarios with students who could not follow along at all. It's the same material no matter who you take, just a class that you have to suffer through.  - Grade In Class:A

We are now behind in the syllabus because she loves telling stories so much that take up most of the class. She covers LOTS of material in every lecture,so you will want to be able to review your notes to prepare for tests. The quizzes were very straight forward, but the exams required the application of concepts learned so they were more challenging. The biggest issue I faced was keeping all the nuances straight during exams. However, Agee is a very good professor and really cares about her students. Comments:3305 - I definitely went into this class thinking that it was going to be really straightforward and easy...and it isn't. The volume of information is enough to make you go insane. But Agee is a fantastic professor. Her examples really illuminate the concepts. She is really funny in a morbid kind of way. She was also an accountant for a decade before she went to law school and passed the bar, so if you're an accounting major she is a great resource. Always do the homework problems (or at least find a way to check them!). The book is helpful if you're having trouble but her lectures and handouts are enough to do fine on the exams. Take her if you get the chance!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:BUS 3305 - Like the other comments have said, this class is HARD by nature. Agee is a great professor though and cares so deeply for her students. She uses real-world examples and is engaging by nature. The class is made up of 4 tests, a few other easy assignments, weekly quizes (which are easy), optional homework (which is helpful) and a department cumulative final. She provided so many notes for each chapter which helps since it is fast passed. I also had her when she was all online and the tests were open note at the time. Overall, I think is one of the best professors for a hard class like this, much better than the horror stories I had heard.  - Grade In Class:B+

I had always heard horror stories of business law, however, that was not my story. Dr. Agee may be one of the best professors that I have had at Baylor. She clearly explains each concept and provides real-life examples to help you visualize them. Her tests are extremely fair and are a true reflection of how much you know. I've never felt cheated by any of her test questions. There is a lot of reading in the class, but Dr. Agee's study guides are extremely helpful and serve as an outline when you're reading. She is so much fun and I'm so grateful that I took her.  - Grade In Class:A

A lot of the material can seem quite dull, but her stories help you understand the information in a real world setting. DO THE HOMEWORK. She offers extra credit and the study guide quizzes are pulled directly from what you already have, so if you have done it then it should be an easy 100.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Agee is a great professor. She gives great examples during class that simplify a lot of the concepts we cover. Her tests are definitely difficult and require you to absolutely understand the concepts that she taught in class. Plus you go through a ridiculous amount of chapters in one semester. She definitely is not shy about emphasizing what will be on the test and the book problems she assigns are key to doing well. If you understand the book problems then you are good to go. Really does require you to go to class and put in effort though. I never read the book and made A's on all the tests so I would say you don't need to read the book like she emphasizes but you definitely have to know the notes from class. Comments:BLaw - Agee is one of the smartest people I have ever met. She was CPA then decided to give Law School a shot, passed the bar and practiced. She makes a course that could be really boring fun and engaging. She is extremely witty. BY FAR BEST BUSINESS LAW PROF. Arrange your schedule around her. 4 tests which I did alright on by literally reading the textbook all the way through and starring definitions I needed clarity on- the day of the tests I would read through my notes. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT SPEAKER AND COURT ATTENDANCE.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:BL 3305 - She makes class interesting by involving the class in her real life examples. This makes the material easier to understand. First off, her tests were hard because they were only application questions. There were no definition or easy concept questions. The questions were tricky because she would mix several concepts into one question and give you answers where if you didn't pick up on one concept, then a wrong answer appeared right. Workload wise, there is a ton of reading (as to be expected in a BLaw course). She would also assign homework questions out of the book sometimes. Make sure you keep up with the readings in the book! I went in to office hours multiple times and she was very helpful and nice. As far as GPA goes, you can get up to 2 points extra credit on your overall grade if you complete the two extra credit assignments. My friend had a different professor who curved every test. Professor Agee did not curve any of our tests, making it harder to get an A. So if you want an easier class to help your GPA, try Nunley or LeCrone.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - TAKE AGEE! She is seriously the best teacher I have had in my life. Blaw isn't a blow off class by any means, but Agee makes it easy to learn. She keeps the class engaged during lectures and expects the best of her students. She gives you her cell number so that you can text her anytime with questions. Comments:3305 - Legal Environment of Business -- She has a crazy sense of humor. Literally. You'll hear her say stuff like "If you see you on your phone during class I will kill you!" with a twisted smile on her face that makes you actually think she might do it but everyone laughs anyways because it's funny. Awesome teacher though, knows a TON about Law. Made me consider switching my majors a couple times because she made classes so dang interesting. She'll use every student in the class multiple times for humorous examples of the concepts that she's teaching so be ready for that, and if she notices that students aren't doing the daily HW problems then she starts to take it up for a grade (She doesn't grade them until this happens though). I probably could've gotten an "A" in her class but I completely disregarded studying for the 2nd test which turned out to be one of the hardest ones (there's just a lot of material in it). She presents the material in a logical way though, uses the whiteboard and her own notes (which are basically what's on the tests) to teach the class rather than reading off Powerpoints like every other teacher. Business Law is supposed to be boring but I didn't feel that way when she was teaching it. Use Quizlet for test reviews that other students have put up. Oh, and rush ATO  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3305 - Dr. Agee is such a sweet woman. Her notes are very thorough and much clearer than the book (although to do well on the tests, you must have a good knowledge of the chapters as well). She uses lots of great examples in class to help you understand concepts. There are occasional pop quizzes but they are very rare and she will usually hint that one is coming. Tests are about 30 questions multiple choice and they can be kind of tricky. The good thing is she offers a couple of extra credit assignments throughout the semester to bolster your grade. TAKE AGEE! You'll learn a ton and have fun doing it.  - Grade In Class:B+

I text her about a problem and she replied back right away. Very available if you need help. As for the class, it is 4 tests, class participation, and homework/quizzes. The fourth test is the final which is comprehensive and departmental. It is a ton of information so you really do need to read, though I found the study guide to be sufficient in that area.. it gives great summaries of the chapters for the most part. You will still need the book because you do problems out of it. She takes a few problems off the study guide directlyf or the tests and also has study guide quizzes which are easy 100s if you do them, since the answers are in the back of the book. I really enjoyed this class and would highly recommend.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:BL3305 - The grade is based off 4 tests, homework (easy 100), participation (based off attendance). She offers 2 points on your average of extra credit as well. The tests are all multiple choice and true false. She's rather scatter brained and tells lots of stories but they do help you remember the material. Buy the study guide especially if you don't feel like reading the book. The online quizzes provided by the book were really helpful. Comments:3305 - Dr. Agee is certainly the best business law teacher to take. She is probably one of the most competent and entertaining teachers I have ever had at Baylor. She makes all of the lectures enjoyable for each of her students by getting the class very involved. She inspired so much interest in law for me that I am seriously considering law school. While the class is one of the more challenging classes that a business school student has to take, it certainly is very possible to get an A with these easy steps, especially if you are good at memorizing material. Be sure to go to class everyday and take good notes. When she says, “I would star this” or “this is very important”, she is not kidding. There will probably be several questions on the exam about it. Listen to her lectures carefully, and you will understand the material, as she explains it well. Read the chapters and then do the study questions in the companion study guide that she tells you to do. While these questions are a lot easier than most of the test questions, they will definitely help you get an initial grasp on the material. Furthermore, there is usually about 2-4 identical study questions on each exam, so there is no excuse to miss them since you have them beforehand. Next, complete all of the chapter review problems at the end of the chapter prior to when they are due in class. Dr. Agee does a thorough job at describing these, but you will get a lot more out of it if you try to complete them yourself before going to class. If you get them wrong, be sure to ask questions so that you understand why you got them wrong and what the right answer is. There are several application questions like these on the exam, so they are good preparation. Lastly, know all of your exceptions to the laws. These will always get you on the exam if you do not memorize them, but they are actually easy questions to pick the right answer if you know them. I don't have a whole lot to say because I took her on my first semester in the Accounting Core and her tests were ALWAYS on the day of my Intermediate Accounting exam. So as a result, I couldn't really focus on BLaw. Her class is manageable though and I would say she is as good as it can get. I would take her.  - Grade In Class:B

She's not only funny but very very caring for individual students. Dr. Agee is very available and will do All she can to make sure you do well on your exams. Take Laura Glathar for tutor ^_^ or ask Dr. Agee for a tutor. Work load isn't That much but you DO need to put in effort. Tests can be tricky so READ very carefully. I underestimated the exams because some law seems to be common sense. BUY the STUDY GUIDE! Reread the study guide to make sure you get an A! Although I barely passed with BLAW I would literally take this class again because you learn so much. And again, you do get what YOU put in. You will get whatever You yourself put into it. Reading the book is unnecessary, even though she says you need to. Read the study guide and study her notes along with the examples that you take notes on. Tests are not too difficult. I started studying 2 days before my tests and always made high A's. You just need to memorize the rules or factors and be able to apply them to the funny scenarios that she makes up in her tests. GO AND TAKE HER!!! if you don't, you gonna regret it, or maybe, your simply a moron. a very great professor. very humorous. very care about if your learning the stuff, but you will learn from her anyhow, she's just that good. she makes BL so much easier. she gives you real life examples for each concept. so, it wont be too theoretical and difficult to understand. and honestly, if you go to her class everyday, you will learn stuff which is gonna be very useful in your life. and i actually enjoyed going to her class every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:30 this semester. its been both very amazing and shocking to me to have actually felt like that. but its BL. its still law. you'll have to read, even tho she makes BL so much easier for everyone. so, your gonna need the text (which its like 6 inches thick, no kidding) and the study guide. yes, you need the study guide. every mid-term test , 2 or 3 of the questions are straight from the study guide. also, your gonna have a study guide quiz for your contract chapters (ch9-18, OMG, ten in a row). so, you really need to get a copy of the study guide. yr gonna have 3 mid-term tests and one comprehensive departmental final. And 4 or 5 assignments you actually have to turn in throughout the semester. Don’t worry their very easy. You could finish them in 30 minutes, except the one you’ll have to brief a case. The grading is like this: 10% for hw & quizzes, 20% for each mid-term, 25% for the final, and 5% for attendance. And there would be 2 extra credit opportunities. Each is worth 1 final grade point (its just amazing.)at last, once again, TAKE HER!   - Grade In Class:A
