*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:ENT 4353 - He is a very nice guy but he doesn't know when to stop talking. Every single class goes over time. I went to his test review session and he talked for 2 1/2 hours when it was supposed to be a 45 minute review session. The tests are not too bad and the homework is easy. But the project at the end of the semester is rushed and challenging because he has no idea what he is doing. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:ENT 4353 - I took social entrepreneurship, hoping for an interesting ENT elective, but I would NOT recommend this course. It is a LOT of reading, and his tests include 2 essay questions. Also, the project at the end of the semester is unreasonably hard and time time-consuming, and very confusing because he doesn't explain it well. He gives you a lot of time in class to work on the project, which is good. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4353 - Nice guy, horrible teacher. That is all I have to say. Avoid this class it's a waste of time. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:4353 - Very interesting class and Dr. Bradley loves the subject matter and teaches as if he really enjoys explaining the concepts to us. Tests and homework really aren't too bad if you pay attention to the concepts and read the assigned readings. One of my favorite teachers at Baylor. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:ENT 4353 - Super easy class, but if you can take the same class that is offered by school of social work DO IT. Despite the name, this class does not talk about social issues. In fact, Dr. Bradley, as nice as he is, is very closed minded and if you don't agree with his though than you're obviously the one in the wrong. He automatically assumes all of Africa is poor and uncultured; he claims all nonprofits are harmful and the people who run them ignorant; and if you bring up discrimination/racism in the work place, he brushes it off and lets his students claim that we as people hold no responsibility for the well being of others. He lets the idea that economic costs always out way the costs dominate hos class... - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4353 - It is really easy to do the homeworks by just skimming a portion of the assigned readings and deducing what it is asking for - and they are mostly completion grades to begin with. He gives a ludicrous amount of extra credit - probably worth up to 5-7% of the total course grade. Additionally, he is very helpful on the project - which is meant to be like a real life Mgt. Consulting project, with plenty of uncertainties. The grade for that project is based less so on the grades and numbers and more so for the analysis and assumptions itself. He even spent 10 hours on a group, helping them do their project that they started at the last minute until 2am. His tests are also quite simple, if you pay any attention in class or skim the readings, you can deduce the correct answers just by the structure of the exams. There is definitely something to be learned in the class, and it should be an easy A. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MGT 4353 - This guy goes off talking about the most random stuff and then starts scrambling to cover the material during the last 20 minutes of a class that is an hour and 15 minutes. I had another class in the bsb after his class, but since he chose to only discuss major information at the end of class, I always got to my other class late.He also assigned this dumb project, that was time consuming, which I still don't see how it ties into what we cover throughout the semester and he does this pretty late too, so you just have to make out time to fit meeting up with your group members last minute. I honestly thought this course was going to be more interesting, but it's ok to say I am highly disappointed in the content as well the professor. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:ENT 4353 - Dr. Bradley is an interesting man. After reading other reviews, I didn't think I would have any trouble in this class. However, I do not recommend taking this class if you aren't a business major. As a PR major, I only took this class as a part of my business minor, not because I have a passion for the subject matter. I didn't really understand some of the ideas because I'm not a business major, and it screwed me in the end. This semester he was EXTREMELY busy and really unhelpful. So trying to get him to explain things or parts of the major project were impossible. He gives a test review for every test which was unhelpful to me because I didn't understand anything. If you're a business major, you should be just fine. However if this isn't your ballpark, I wouldn't take it. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:ENT 4353 - Social Ent with Bradley is an easy ENT elective. The topics in the class are very interesting. Bradley focuses on using free market capitalism to end poverty. The class was enjoyable overall. The project is demanding but you have plenty of class time to work on it. I would recommend this class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:ENT 4353 - Dr. Bradley is a very smart and interesting guy. The class is fairly easy, you have a reading summary due on blackboard for almost every class, his test are easy as long as you utilize his study guide. Theres a major group project, you pick your own team so as long as you choose competent people you'll do well. The class is very interesting, i went in thinking i wouldn't like it but i enjoyed it a lot! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4353 - The possibility of this being read, i do not know. I do not know how these course evaluations work but I have to write it. I almost dropped this class 5 times this semester. After every class the first 5 classes. I would leave with my blood hot and I would find an unfortunate friend to rant about the things I heard in this class. But I chose to sit through it and detach myself emotionally and pass this class objectively. The first thing I would like to tell you is that you can not teach about poverty in Africa the way you would teach about poverty in America. Do you know why?, because everyone knows America is rich and beautiful, but not everyone knows Africa is rich and beautiful. And when you enthusiastically and continuously show the ugly and poor aspects of a large, strong, beautiful and rich continent, you have not educated anyone about that continent. You have only managed to reduce it to nothing more than a poor continent that is not old or strong enough to stand on its own feet with out the help of the eager American people being fed these ludicrous ideas. This class was interesting but I had one BIG problem with it and the manner which the instructor taught it. This class, as stimulating and interesting as it was, in my opinion did not leave the students any less significantly ignorant about many important things than they were at the beginning of the semester. This class concentrated on poverty in Africa, that is not a problem in itself, but NEWSFLASH to the administrators in the ENT department who have kindly planned this course, THE IGNORANCE OF THE AMERICAN POPULATION HAS NOT BEEN FACTORED INTO THIS CLASS. You can not say you are teaching about poverty in a continent when half of the students in your class think Africa is a country. You can not tell me you are teaching a class about poverty in a continent when the students in your class think you can walk from one country in Africa to the next like it a small neighborhood where everyone know the next person. You can not tell me you taught a class in poverty in continent when the students in your class leave at the end of the semester thinking that the pictures and videos they have seen in class of the 'helpful white man' rendering his services to the "starving, uneducated, technology lacking, dependent, poverty stricken, unclean, witch doctor running rampant, slumming, sun burned, sweating" African people is what Africa is about. You can not tell me you taught about a continent when every African is clumped into people without stories, and the only thing that qualifies the fact that they are being taught about is that they are poor. If I was the token American child, as I could tell from interacting with my wonderful class mates, that is what anyone will thunk of Africa at the beginning of the class and also at the end of the class. The only difference between the beginning and end of this class would be that at the end of this class these very ignorant ideas would be stuck in the mind of this children and now they think they can be the next African SAVIOR and get rich saving it. Look, I'm not saying the course was all bad, I learned a lot about starting a lucrative business in Africa, but please, if you want them to go start their businesses in Africa, you should at least tell them EBOLA in not equal to AFRICA and the 'fatal' disease is not crawling in the air of all 54 countries. You should also not forget to tell them, It is a diverse continent, with diverse people and diverse cultures and not everyone is starving or looking for the next American savior. Because Newsflash: I am African and take this advise from one of us, your class needs a little cleaning up. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Social Entrepreneurship - Dr. Bradley is the best professor for the business (entrepreneurship) major. He really does care about what you learn and wants you to get an A. He loves his students and is the freaking coolest guy ever. Never be worried about his class in terms of workload but pay attention in class because he teaches a lot of interesting things about how to use start-ups internationally to make a difference in people's lives. For tests, make sure you are familiar with all of the articles you read and with the notes. The tests are not that hard and are pretty straight forward, but you need to actually understand the articles. Plus, he grades the free response portion of the tests with limited difficulty. Cheers - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Social Ent - Dr. Bradley was my favorite professor in my entire time here at Baylor! He is a good man, and he genuinely cares about his students and their success. This class was fun, informative, and practical. Take this class if you can! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MGT4353 - Dr. Bradley is an incredibly nice guy, but this course is kind of boring. You have reading assignments every class (which I very rarely completed) and a little written assignment along with it to make sure you did read. During the class he kind of lectures on the topic, but he's also looking for a discussion. A lot of days he has a group activity which is a little pointless. The class is boring and he isn't that great at actually teaching. The readings/class discussions are very repetitive. The entire course has a very pro-capitalism slant, so that can be good or bad depending on what you think. The exams are really easy assuming you go over the review he provides. You have a group project which is also pretty easy. Overall this class is very easy and Bradley is a very nice guy, but not the best at teaching. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:ENT 4353 - This man has started at least 7 businesses on my count. He is highly qualified to talk about entrepreneurship, but this (economic development) seems to be a new area for him. It is still an awesome class and it is set up so that everyone does well. - Grade In Class:A
