Comments:1305 - This was definitely one of my favorite classes at Baylor (sophomore). She is funny and entertaining and style never gets boring. The material itself is very interesting but she has a way of making it fun and even more interesting. There are occasional quizzes and 3 tests along with a few small papers, that aren’t really even scary enough to call essays. She does a great job of reviewing material for the tests, so you either feel prepared going into the final, or you know what to study the night before.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - DMAC is the best! She's really nice and sweet, not scary at ALL as I first thought. She wants you to engage in discussions and arguments, so don't be afraid to speak your mind. Her powerpoints are fairly easy and to the point, so the tests are just as easy. There are about 3 or 4 tests throughout the semester, 40 questions each with the clicker. She also assigns short essay responses on the topics covered at the time, and most likely an essay towards the end of the semester. No midterm, and the final is accumulative and on paper. You need the Intro to Sociology book/pdf file, which you do need to read. Overall, this is an easy course and DMAC is really cool so I recommend you take her!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:SOC 1305 - Dr. McMahon is awesome. This class was literally the easiest ever, I barely studied the night before each test and I got 95 and above on every one. There are occasional quizzes that she tells you about beforehand. Attendance counts towards your grade so definitely go to class. It's not a boring class at all so it shouldn't be a problem. There are a couple of response "essays" due but they aren't graded difficultly. She basically outlines everything you need to know the day before the test… super easy. TAKE DMAC!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Intro to Sociology - Dmac is an amazing professor. She loves to teach Sociology- but she knows that not everyone is interested in it, so she keeps it really interesting. She gives an attendance grade, so it is in your best interest to show up, but class rarely went for the full time allotted. She gives some response essays, but they are really easy to do. Her final for my class was a video project, which had no rubric. I got a 100 on it, and I got at least a 98% on all of her tests. Great lady, Take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Intro to Soc - 1305 - If you want an easy A, take this class! Basically no work load except the reviews for the test (she basically gives you the test during the review, thats all you need to study to do well). You have to write 3 response essays but they are interesting and she grades fairly. If you put effort into them and take a stand in your essay, she\'ll give you a good grade. She as a person is very nice and enjoyable to discuss things with. Most of the time the classes were boring but it was because of the self-explanatory material. We did watch a lot of movies, which I thought were a waste of time sometimes, but mostly interesting. Three exams, three papers, and she gives you the choice of doing a video project or a regular exam for the final. I did the 97 question exam for the final and it was cumulative but the review she did for us gave us all the information we needed to get an A. And make sure you go to class every day because if you miss one, your attendance grade, which is 10% of your final grade, goes down to a 90!   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Intro. to Soc. - If you want an easy A in sociology, this is the class to take. This is not to belittle her teaching ability which is great as its evident that she truly has an interest in sociology and she places an emphasis on class discussion. Make absolutely sure to go to all her test reviews because she gives you all topics that are on the test. You don't really need to read the book, just look up those topics she gives you in the test review. Other than that, there was two papers which was the most difficult part, but in comparison to other sociology teachers it isn't asking too much of you and they are pretty interesting.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Dmac is crazy. She definitely speaks her mind but she encourages class discussion rather than her just lecturing. She tried to make the issues we talked about more real to us and she always gave us a good laugh. Our class loved her! Also, tests are soo easy. I got a 96 or above on every one. The review is exactly (no more, no less) what is on the test. It's a good GPA booster and its fun too. I highly recommend!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Sociology - Dmac has been my favorite teacher at Baylor so far. She's hilarious and off the wall, but at the same time you actually learn quite a bit in her class. Most classes consist of discussion of controversial topics within the class or the utilization of videos (minimal lecturing). Almost no homework, easy tests, and in lieu of taking the final you can make a video slideshow that takes half an hour to throw together. If you have the chance to take this class I would recommend it 100%  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Marriage&Fam - Professor McMahon is incredible! She is an extremely kind woman who went out of her way to help me out of a bind. She uses a lot of cool videos in class and encourages discussion. You have to write two papers but they are very easy and she grades them extremely fair. I would definitely recommend taking any class she teaches and get to know her. She is a wonderful woman and professor!!  - Grade In Class:A
