Comments:1402 - Professor Stanislaw is the honestly the best professor I have had at Baylor! Not only is he an incredible Spanish professor, he is also an equally amazing human being. There are quite a few quizzes and tests, but he is very reasonable and lenient on his grading. I would 10/10 recommend Stanislaw to anyone who hasn't taken Spanish before, because he genuinely does care about seeing his students succeed at their own pace.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1401 - If you have the chance to take Stanislaw's class, DO IT! He is so great, and truly cares about his students. I did the online homeworks to study for the quizzes and made a quizlet to study for the exams and ended with a high A. He grades super fair, but he is pretty unorganized and does not post in Canvas.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1401 - Stanislaw is a really cool guy and he's known to be one of the best, easiest Spanish professors. If you want a good grade, he's probably the professor to take. If you want to learn Spanish really well, you may want to take another professor. Although he quizzes you over grammar stuff and verb conjugations, you're pretty much on your own in regards to memorizing vocab, so expect extra time out of class memorizing stuff on your own if you want to actually know any Spanish vocab. The big grades were 3 unit tests, 2 orals, and the final. Other grades came from quizzes (one every week or two) and online lab assignments. You might have "homework" once every few weeks. The tests and quizzes were similar to the online labs so be sure to actually pay attention to those. You can get a few extra credit points from going to extra "Charla" tutoring sessions. Overall, Stanislaw is a solid guy and I would recommend you look into taking his class.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1401 - TAKE HIM! BEST SPANISH TEACHER EVER! He's a really laid back professor and you learn a lot but in a fun way! He really cares for his students. For homework we had some online assignments and book assignments that weren't too bad. You have 2 oral exams and 3 tests. I loved this class! Take Sr. Stanislaw!!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1401 - If you want a high GPA, take this class. If you want to really learn Spanish, you might want to look somewhere else. The only reason I didn't make an A in this class is because I had a really busy semester and didn't really study. He's not really the best "teacher." Spanish is a lot of memorization so you kinda have to teach yourself anyway, though. His tests are pretty straight forward and he focuses mostly on conjugations. He grades them pretty easy and he has a very carefree personality.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2320 - He is super cool and friendly, and helps you learn some Spanish but knows that most of us are just trying to finish our language requirements. He was super helpful, like people say, but he could of been in his office more, especially since it's hard to find, so it sucks if you go all the way there, and then he's not around.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2310 - Mr. Stanislaw is THE BEST. First off, he is the friendliest guy and he really makes spanish simple. Secondly, he makes class fun and really engages everyone. Instead of straight textbook material you listen to games in spanish or songs. Finally, he is willing to help you outside of class, or just catch up and see how you are doing. There is very little outside homework or anything too tough in his class. He loves to teach and he loves his students. JUST TAKE HIM.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2320 - Mr. Casey Stanislaw was THE EPITOME OF AMAZAING!!! Best Spanish Teacher at Baylor hands down!! He is so willing to re-explain concepts, and he WILL make time for you if you are not able to make the appointed times he sets up. His tests are easy in my opinion, if you know what you're doing. We read a lot of poems and things from the textbook and he helps us to better understand them. Point is, he is Great, so take him!! for any spanish class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2320 - Sr Stanislaw is the epitome of helpful. Anything you need he will maKe time in his day to help you out. Also, he'll bring his guitar and play for yall! So fun. Manageable tests and worKload. DEFINITELY best Spanish professor in my four semesters at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1402 - BEST profesor I've had at Baylor. Take him!! He's so helpful and laid back and really cares about his students. There was always online homework with every quiz which wasn't bad, some of the test info came from the online homework. The tests were like the quizzes and he prepares you for them. There is a lot of work just like every other spanish class but he makes it fun and easy to learn. I wish I would of taken him for spanish 1401 too.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1401/1402 - Sr. Stanislaw is an absolute GODSEND! This prof is probably the most charismatic, genuine, personable, brilliant, anything great, etc I have come into contact with. He is more than nice, and he makes class so fun. The class itself is laid-back, but we learn so much! There is work to be done though: almost weekly quizzes and workbook assignments. Not too much work though; plus, he is totally understanding with deadlines. I've had two amazing semesters with this guy, and I would strongly suggest anyone and everyone required to take Spanish courses at Baylor to take Sr. Stanislaw.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1401 - Stanislaw is the best! If you're taking 1401, take this guy. He really cares about his students, I'd even stay and just talk to the guy about life after class because I liked him so much. He makes Spanish fun and not a burden whatsoever. The class wasn't super hard, but I still feel like I learned a ton because he's such a good teacher. Do the labs and own the quizzes--it's basically free points. Take Stanislaw, you'll not only meet a great professor, but also a great person and friend.  - Grade In Class:A
