Comments:MKT 3320 Online - I'm in her online class right now and I completely forgot I was even taking it. She's very chill as long as you do your work and she seems very sweet but I've never had a direct conversation with her. Honestly, take this class its amazing and literally no workload. You have quizzes every few weeks online but she lets you use notes and its not lockdown browser. Theres a final project which doesn't seem bad but I haven't started it yet. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3320 - I finished with an 89.2, so like cool bro. She's not gonna be super helpful, even though she does answer her emails. I would just not take this professor if you can, you're not going to learn or enjoy anything. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:3320 - She isn't that bad, like the rating implies. I took an online advertising class with her and it's fairly easy. Most of the work is for the semester project, which she grades kinda hard on. Make sure you look at examples of previous ones. She responds to emails and gave me an extension when I was sick. Pretty reasonable professor! - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:MKT 3301 - I took this class as an asynchronous summer course for my minor and it was very easy. I should have made a better grade, but I was juggling a couple of other summer courses and couldn't give this class the time it needed. We only had quizzes (not on lockdown browser) and Case Essay assignments throughout the semester, so there were no exams which was amazing. Definitely take this course with Dr. Cooper during the summer session. She is so great! - Grade In Class:B
Comments:MKT 3301 - I took this course Summer 2021 online and it was certainly not the most difficult class but also not the easiest. We can around 18 quizzes that were open note but very tricky (Just for the record, the questions are not online...so it is open textbook). We also had 9 essay questions which were basically just 3 questions based off a reading. We did not have a final and the class grade breakdown was 40% Quizzes, 40% Essay Things, 20% Attendence which was based off the percentage of the video lecture you watch. If you want an easy B this is the class, if you want to put in a little bit more work studying you can easily get an A- or an A. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:MKT 3320 - I'm a senior Marketing/PR major, and this was one of the worst classes I've taken at Baylor. I approached the class with the idea that advertising is supposed to be colorful, lively and interesting, and this class and the way the information was presented was anything but these qualities. The class itself wasn't extremely difficult -- instead of tests, you'll take 12 or so "tests" that are actually ten question quizzes that come from the textbook. You will never be tested on Dr. Cooper's lectures, which makes it difficult to pay attention and makes coming to class feel absolutely pointless. The group project was my favorite part of the class, but was extremely time consuming with confusing expectations. Above all, Dr. Cooper was rude to/picked fights with students and didn't seem like she wanted to be teaching. I had several friends that received strangely-aggressive responses to their emails with little explanation for that kind of response. I'm a straight-A student and am on track to receive an A in this class (against all odds), but if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't take Dr. Cooper. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MKT/JOU 3320 - As an advertising major, this is the first course in our advertising core classes. It gave a great introduction to advertising and what to expect in an agency setting. The hardest part about the course is the campaign component. You conduct a real advertising campaign with a real client. You have to be very thorough with every benchmark. Every class there is a quiz over the reading that will be discussed that day. YOU MUST READ to get a good grade on the quizzes. I would usually read through the chapter twice and memorize the vocab and do fine on the quizzes. Dr. Cooper is an excellent and caring professor with experience in the field. She is always very understanding and available to help students. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MKT 3320 - Dr. Cooper is the best!! This class was so great because Dr. Cooper is a very chill person. The main work comes from the group project which isn't that hard and she grades very fairly. The other grades come from 10 question "tests" (more like quizzes) over each chapter. I would review the vocab from the chapter the morning of and make 90-100 on every test. There is no final, just the group presentation. You learn mainly from working on your group project because she has checkpoints throughout the semester. Dr. Cooper is the sweetest lady and is always willing to help. Take her, it will be an easy A! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Advertising Proc. - Avoid her at all costs. I learned NOTHING from this class, and she flat out makes no sense. Half the time she doesn't know what's going on, the other half she's "teaching" and has the entire class confused. She's just terrible at communicating. We had a 10 question test over every chapter. We could skip as many as we wanted and make them up on "make up" day, but make-up day was very unorganized and papers were missing and it just stressed everyone out. The semester-long project is a joke. She wouldn't even let some groups finish presenting before she started criticizing their work. Don't take her. It was a painful semester to sit through. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:MKT 3320 - Mrs. Coopers class is very chill and pretty easy. You have a 10 question test over each chapter in the book. These tests are actually quite hard. But if you read the chapter ahead of time and get the material you should do just fine. Through out the whole semester you are working on a big big project with a group. If you do everything right and have everything done on time, you will most likely get a good grade, but she will give your group a bad grade if you slacked and didnt care about it. This project is what gave me a good grade in the class because my test scores varied. She is a very nice and cool teacher. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:3320 - Absolutely loved Dr. Cooper’s class to start! This class was mainly reading with a few assignments, a project, and quizzes- no actual tests. There were about 12 quizzes, however only 10 counted meaning you could either replace a low grade or completely not go to class twice. The quizzes were directly from the reading minus the one test with advertising calculations, which was mainly from the calculation lecture. The project was conducted over the course of the entire semester with a presentation of the advertising plans that groups developed. Students were assigned to go out in the Waco community and develop an advertising plans book for a local company. The project was structured in a way that allowed the material needed for each section to be covered in class so that groups could then work on that section for their project book. Dr. Cooper's class was very hands on allowing students to read the material in the book and then apply it through the project over the course of the semester. Highly recommend Dr. Cooper also for her experience in the field. - Grade In Class:A
