Comments:American Lit - Excellent, even for a summer course! You definitely have to do the reading, (he can tell if you use Sparknotes, he reads the online summaries too) but you’ll be rewarded with some pretty engaging lectures. Exams pull from quiz questions too. You grade mostly depends on the work you did and how much (or little) you decided to skip reading and just wing it. You’ll be covering some pretty depressing topics one after another, so it might be a little emotionally draining after a while. He’s still very fair and I felt I earned my grade.,  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG2304 - He is a super chill professor. As long as you do the readings, you should be fine. He is very funny, friendly and easy-going too. Choose him! You will enjoy!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4301 CW - Hemenway is by far the most amazing professor at Baylor. He makes class interesting. He goes out of his way to know each student in the class. He really helped improve my creative writing. If you do the work, you will get an A.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4301 - He is honestly the best professor at Baylor. He actually cares about his students-he meets with each of his students at the beginning of the semester for fifteen minutes so that he can get to know his students. He is very understanding and keeps class interesting. He is also very talented. I've learned so much in his class and his book is fantastic! If you ever get the chance to take him, you should! He will change your life as a writer!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3306 - Prof. Hemenway is awesome! The class involves a lot of writing-- because it is a creative writing class. But Hemenway makes it interesting and fun and at the same time he really does help improve your writing. This class was easily my most enjoyable of the week, and even though sometimes I stressed out about the writing deadlines, if you go to prof Hemenway with questions or for help he would definitely help you out.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3306- Creative Writing - HE ROCKS! I had Hemenway for his very first class teaching at Baylor, and he is a natural. He's a very intelligent and funny guy, always looking out for his students. If you need an extension on a paper, just ask and he'll give you as much time as you need. He has reading quizzes every Tuesday (they're super easy if you read) and workshops on Thursdays. It's a small class, we laugh a lot, and he's an amazing writer himself. It's one of the only classes I actually look forward to attending. One of the best professors I've ever learned from, I highly recommend anyone taking him, even if you've never had creative writing before! Also, he'll high-five you in the hallway.   - Grade In Class:A
