Comments:HEB1301 - I absolutely adore Dr. Fulton. You can tell how much she genuinely cares about her students. Her office hours clashed with other classes I had but she always made the time to meet with me and go through anything I didn’t understand in class which was just so kind of her. The homework (sentences from the textbook) was definitely a lot of work but it’s necessary to be able to learn a tough language like Hebrew. Grades are made up of 3 exams and the final (each worth 15%), vocab quizzes (make up 30% and she drops the lowest two), and then participation is 10% (based on whether or not you do the homework). Exams are cumulative as it’s a language but she has a review sheet that tells you basically exactly what you need to know for the exam as well as the question format so there are no surprises which really makes learning such a difficult language really manageable. She posts her powerpoints which really helps with reviewing as well. Hebrew was the third language I took at Baylor and I’ve never felt so secure and confident in one before and all of that is thanks to Dr. Fulton’s amazing teaching. If you’re thinking of taking Hebrew, I cannot recommend her enough.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - This is probably the easiest and most fun Religion class ever. Her lectures are great, and if you go and take notes on her powerpoints you're bound to make a good grade in the class. She gives you good examples to help you remember things and posts her powerpoints online.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Dr. Fulton is an amazing professor! She is extremely nice and truly cares about her students in all aspects of their lives. I was extremely worried about taking this class because I do not come from a religious family, so I knew noting about religion. However, this class is extremely fair and as long as you do the work you will be fine. There are around 7 quizzes in which she drops your lowest 2, but these account for a large portion of your grade so STUDY for them. There are also multiple reading questions in which you must provide a short paragraph about the reading and she provides around 60 of them and you only have to choose 10 by the end of the semester. The test are a mix of multiple choice and written and if you do the readings like you are supposed to then you should do fine on the test and quizzes. Also, the final is NOT cumulative which is a big help! If you ever start to not like your grade in this class, GO TO OFFICE HOURS! Dr. Fulton's office hours are both helpful and fun, so go visit her because it will definitely help your understanding of the material. Overall, Dr. Fulton is one of my favorite professors and you should take her class if possible!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Dr. Fulton is hands down the best professor I've had. She utilizes her class time efficiently and typically gets through her powerpoints in time. She is engaging and very passionate about the bible which helps to pay attention. She cares about her students and takes time to remember their names. Her test reviews are straight off her powerpoints, so copy them down word for word. Her tests are lecture based but you should definitely keep up with the reading to give you more confidence. Her quizzes are straight from the reading assignments- five multiple choice and five quote identification(specifying which book in the bible the quote it's from, context, and significance to the class). There are reading questions for each reading assignment, you only have to do five for the two halves she separates it in. There were three tests, including the final and the final itself was not accumulative. Overall, I loved this class and loved Dr. Fulton.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1310 - Dr. Fulton is an amazing professor. She is so funny, enthusiastic, and really cares about the course and students. Tests and quizzes were fair and based purely off the lectures. Highly recommend taking her.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1310 - Fulton is AWESOME!! She knows a lot about her subject, but teaches it in a way that is understandable and applicable. Powerpoints are everyday, but super straight forward. There is a reading before every class and a writing assignment with it, but you only have to do 10 writings per semester. Also, if you miss class but go to office hours she will go over the entire powerpoint. She really cares about students and about her subject, which makes her class enjoyable, even at 9 am. Would recommend to anyone.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:REL 1310 - Dr. Fulton is awesome. She is so passionate about the subject. Her tests are based only on her powerpoint, not the reading. There are three tests, the final is not comprehensive. There are reviews and a review session held for every test. There are seven reading quizzes in class that are short and she drops your lowest two grades. The reading is fast but so are all of them. No essays, she makes life awesome. It is my favorite class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:HEB 1301/1302 - Dr. Fulton is a great professor. She knows a lot of fun and interesting things about Hebrew and the Bible. She is nice but expects you to do the work. You will not do well in this class if you don't study the vocab and charts. Dr. Fulton does take attendance and grades participation by volunteering the answers to homework translations, so speaking up (even if you got the wrong answer) is the best way to make her like you. She is also a stickler on reading properly, so at some point you will have to do an oral exam reading aloud in Hebrew for her. This will not be scary if you give yourself ample time to practice. I highly recommend Dr. Fulton for first-year Hebrew, she is definitely one of the easier and nicer Hebrew profs.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Mrs. Fulton is awesome. I was worried with all of the reading required and the quizzes (you have to identify quotes) but I read Shmoop and go over her lecture notes and I have an A in the class. Honestly if you pay attention in her class, read over the notes, and do the test reviews you'll be fine. I highly recommend her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - She tends to be very boring in her lectures but does communicate the point well. The only way I stayed awake in class was by listening to music while taking notes. However, when going over my notes, I found that they answered 95% of the questions on the study guide - I basically copied her powerpoints. Also, her jokes tend to be awkward and no one laughs until she does. She is also dangerously obsessed with the Old Testament  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - I cannot stress how much I enjoyed this class! Dr. Fulton is one of the most engaging professors I have ever had, she obviously loves the subject. With that being said, she does tend to get sidetracked, but her tangents are very interesting and she almost always finds a way to relate them back to the material. The thing I enjoyed most about the class was that she made it very clear she was not teaching a theology class, instead focusing on the Bible in context of history. This was very important to me as I am not at all religious. I personally thought the class was very easy, but I do know some people that had a hard time with it. She gives 7 reading quizzes (and drops your lowest 2) that can be difficult as they are not super easy "did-you-read-it" type quizzes. As for tests, they are all from the lectures. If you do well in lecture style classes then this should be a piece of cake. I absolutely loved Dr. Fulton and highly recommend her! I was very disappointed when I discovered she was not teaching a Christian Heritage class.  - Grade In Class:A
