Comments:4330 - Super hard class if you're not a senior and have sufficient knowledge in neuroscience I wouldn't recommend as you pick up off of a lot of neuro basics, honestly this class needs an SI or eternal practice, Keele really just lectures off of the slides so understanding the concepts has to be done during office hours primarily. He's a passionate guy but not great at making sure the class understands the topics. The textbook has a bunch of information and only a handful is used in the class, the exams are confusing and often include too many answer choices that make it even less clear (a-e). It's a bunch of informations I would definitely recommend putting this class off until you have a light semester schedule and can devote 8hrs a day to studying. Most of the grade is made up of quizzes there's no homework only exams and quizzes.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:NSC1306 - Keele is clearly passionate about Neuroscience. He is hilarious and friendly with his students. However, its a massive lecture hall class where its hard to stay engaged. If you participate in the class as he intends, the workload is insane for an intro class. Quizzes are every chapter and require reading the textbook and the lectures (2 completely different things). The 4 Tests are 50 MCQs and the final is 80 MCQs. Homework is completely optional and through the Pearson textbook. I wasn't about to read through every single textbook chapter so I barely missed an A in the class. If you want an A, be ready to do lots of reading and memorizing brain anatomy.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:4356 - Horrible educator. After many years of teaching this same course, he still does not have a good idea of what he is doing each day. If you teach a course for many years, you should have each class day planned out. Was not helpful in explaining anything that was important in class. Needs to learn how to be a better educator.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:NSC 4356 - This class was by far one of the hardest I've taken at Baylor. Keele is a nice guy but definitely a hard prof. The content was interesting but the exam multiple choice was unpredictable. Make sure to read the textbook (or at least skim through it) because if you don't you will probably not be able to do as well as you could. As for the weekly quizzes, sometimes he will give hints for what will be on them but they can be tricky if you didn't study for each individual quiz. The lecture videos aren't terrible and they are free points, however, he often tends to just relecture the video again in class (but the videos are a required part of the grade). He WILL hint at some of the free response questions on the exam. Make flashcards and study them EARLY. by the time the final comes around there will be about 100 drugs you should be comfortable knowing.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:NSC 1306-Intro to Neuro - This is how you get an A in NSC 1306. At first, your gonna freak, Unit 1 is with Dr. Keele, its a lot of info, its overwhelming but chill cause it gets better. Study his sldies for sure and do read the textbook for his unit since its the basis for everything later on in the semester. I will say that you need a 207/230 to get an A in that class but IT IS VERY POSSIBLE. The second unit is Dr. Malavanti, this unit I thought was the hardest but for her, make sure you study in depth the systems she talks abt in class. Unit 3 was with Dr. Scullin, HES THE BEST. He is super engaging and his content isn't super bad, this is where I stopped reading the textbook and focused more on class lectures and just listening and taking notes. His questions are super super fair. For his unit he tells you a couple of topics that we are responsible for covering from the textbook on our own, legit just do what he tells u to and your so fine. Last unit is Dr. Phillips, this one was also fine. Just listen and take notes from lect slides and you will do fine on the exam. Overall, you get one dropped exam but each exam is 50 points so 3 50 point exams plus an 80 point final and THAT IS IT. 4 grades and that is it. You can also purchase the lect note textbook from the bookstore and is helpful for sure with organizing info. I would say overall this class is very difficult but if you like this stuff and willing to really study and put in a lot of work, its so doable. The questions on all exams are all multiple choice and pretty straight forward, some tend to be more general and others are more specific. Organize your info, study, REPITITION, be curious, explain it out loud to yourself, and teach it to others, YOU WILL DO GOOD. I usually started studying for the exams about a week in advance and the SI practice exams are also super helpful and give you an idea of the questions. I never actually attended an SI session but heard great things about them and all the worksheets were always in canvas to complete on own time if it works better for you :)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1306 - For me, Keele is in my 2 worser sections looking at exam scores for this class however it was not the worst unit in terms of content. It can feel a little intimidating at first but trust me you'll be fine. His teaching for me was not the best but he is a fun guy and wants you to learn. I highly recommend asking questions after class and attending office hours if you need more understanding. For his unit I would recommend looking at the book more than the slides as his exam did have a mix of both but you don't want to miss questions because you did not look at the book. Also go back to those lecture videos, they come in handy.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:Intro to neuro - I loved Dr. keele in the team taught intro to neuro class. Although there is a lot of jargon and memorization to do for the class, he explains everything clearly. He understands it is a difficult class, so he does his best to dumb down the material to help students. He is extremely friendly and is always there if you need help  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2024-12-09

Comments:4356 - I didn't like him for neuropharm - his test questions and quizzes were really confusing and going to class was not very helpful. Read the textbook thoroughly and you'll be okay. Also, prepare for the quizzes because they are worth a decent amount of your grade. I did well on the exams but horribly on the quizzes and that brought me down to a B in the class.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2024-05-23

Comments:PSY 1305 - I took the team-taught psych. Dr. Keele's unit is the easiest if you've already taken NSC 1306. If you haven't, make sure to pay attention to lecture and take notes on the slides as well as to read the textbook, and you'll do fine. You definitely have to study to memorize the different vocabulary terms and what not, but this is definitely not a particularly difficult class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2024-05-11

Comments:4356 - DO NOT TAKE DR. KEELE FOR NEUROPHARMACOLOGY. It is a flipped classroom model, but there is absolutely no further clarification that can be found in class discussion. He has quizzes once a week that are meant to trick you. His exams are difficult to predict, and the reading amount is abysmal. If you can, avoid Keele.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2024-04-30

Comments:Intro to Neuro - He was very nice, but then again it was an online course I took so it was a bit leaned back. He responded to discussion posts with a custom video for each student or at least some reply. There were 3 things due at the end of each week, so expectations were very obvious and easy to manage. Also, the tests in this class were very open ended projects that were fun to make as there was so much creative liberty to be taken with them. Overall a very fun class for a seemingly daunting subject.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2024-04-16

Comments:NSC 1306 - This course was team-taught and I really enjoyed Dr. Keele. His lectures were engaging and his test was the easiest in my opinion. They seem to be pulled directly from lectures and the textbook, whereas the other profs require you to know intricate and irrelevant details.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2023-12-21

Comments:NSC 1306 - Dr. Keele's section for the team taught Introduction to Neuroscience was honestly my favorite. He covers chapters 15, 17, and 18. However, his test was probably the most difficult. Make sure you make flashcards over the textbook and do all of the readings before class. Use the slides as a guide when studying to brain dump. He likes to pull some questions straight from the lecture notes and Revel, so I recommend getting both of those. You definitely have to study, but it's manageable. Just keep on top of things, and you'll do great!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-12-14

Comments:NSC 1106 - The Introduction to Neuroscience Laboratory is such a joke. It's all online, and I feel like I learned nothing from the course. The course is graded out of 130 points. The first module is 5 quizzes, with one that can be dropped. The second module is an introduction to R, which is like this sort of coding program or whatever. The third module is Sleepy Mice. Basically, you make a chart and write some stuff over sleep deprivation. The fourth and final module is FraidyRat. I think that like 99% of people in the lab despise FraidyRat. Honestly, the program is really cool, but the quizzes that you have for that module can't be dropped. As long as you stay on top of the coursework, it should be fine. However, if you're confused, don't even bother asking the TAs, they just use the job as a study hall.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-12-14

Comments:NSC 1306 - I think his section of the team-taught class was the most confusing to me. Do not recommend.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2023-07-19

Comments:1306 - Out of all the teachers in this team taught class, Dr. Keele is probably one of my favorite. He was very engaging and chill and the only test I I got an A in. For the intro to neuroscience class, this will definitely be one of the easier chapters because he takes directly from the book and his notes, so its pretty easy to follow!  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2021-12-25

Comments:1306 - very enjoyable lectures. he taught 2/4 units in the semester i took this course and i did the best on his two exams. he is very knowledgable, and i frequently emailed him asking more in-depth questions and he was always quick to respond with detailed answers. he truly has a passion for what he does and it shows! love this guy  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2021-04-23

Comments:1306 - I took Dr. Keele over the summer 2020. It was a pretty intense class as it was self-learning around 11 chapters in 5 weeks but Dr. Keele definitely made himself available for any questions. My biggest advice is to READ THE TEXTBOOK. Every page is fair game and I learned that 2 tests in. Tests are basically the textbook reformatted and final was ok as well.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2020-07-11

Comments:1306 - side note: i took this course during spring 2020 (covid) dr keele's section was probably my least favorite cause i didnt find the material interesting. i dont think it had anything to do with him. he seems like a nice professor. he recorded his lectures and taught from pre made powerpoints from the textbook so his lectures were a waste of time. reading the textbook and taking notes is the best use of your time. his exam: his exam wasnt any more challenging than the others. his exam was less applicable based than dr. clark's due to the material. study and plan your readings ahead of time and you should do well. the content is heavy just like any other section in this course. class time: i had him during covid so he recorded his lectures and they were maybe only 30 mins long. i didnt see the point in them. i watched one video and didnt watch the rest for his section and got an A on the exam.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2020-05-09

Comments:3319 - This class is hard, it's an upper level neuro course, so you can't expect it to be on the same level as intro. You have to read the book or you'll do poorly on the exams. There's 4 exams and a final and he drops your lowest of the 4 regular exams. He does retake quizzes, you take one at the beginning of class, then he lectures over the quiz material and you retake the quiz at the end of class, so there's a guaranteed 100 if you pay attention. he also drops your 3 lowest. His exams are 80% book info and maybe a couple of questions from lecture. There's MC, some open-ended, matching, and drawing. The open-ended and drawing are predictive, if he spends a whole lecture talking about one specific thing or drawing it, chances are it's going to be an open-ended question on the exam. Seriously, just read and go to class (which can be boring most of the time) and you can make a good grade.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2019-05-13

Comments:1306 - My grade here is what I got on his exam in NSC team taught. During class he did ramble but his unit is very interesting so he does a good job of connecting everything back. I really liked Keele and his exam was mostly based on what is in the book. Yes mypsychlab is optional so I didn't do it for the first 2 exams. But DO IT. It will prepare you and you will get A's. Just read the book and do mypsychlab and you will be perfect.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2016-11-19

Comments:Intro - He's a good teacher. He's very nice compared to the other teachers. Idk why his rating is so low... He goes over a good chunk of the information from the book. Make sure to go over his class notes because there will be some things on there that aren't in the textbook. Do any practice problems in the class notes. Its a hard class so read as early as possible! Try to read before they go over the information, go to SI, group topics that are similar to help differentiate etc., ask questions, and one of the most important things: RE-READ THE TEXTBOOK BEFORE THE TEST. You will find a lot of stuff you missed, and good clarifications. The more practice you do (re-read, SI worksheets, etc) the better you grasp the information.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2016-09-06

Comments:NSC 1306 - Dr. Keele is a good teacher. He covers most of the material in class and posts his powerpoints on Canvas. His tests are probably the easiest of the three professors (although that doesn't actually mean they're easy), but you always ALWAYS read. If you don't read you WILL NOT do well in this class. For Dr. Keele, study the lecture notes too. His section in the notes is a out of order from how he teaches it, but other than that an overall decent professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2016-05-06

Comments:1306 - Intro - Super awkward man that can't teach very well. He was very hard to pay attention too and just made me nervous the whole time because he has a hard time spitting out what he is thinking. I did well on his test and his test was more general than specific which was good. If you can find a way to pay attention to him, and read the book you will do fine  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2015-05-06

Comments:1306 - Keele was my second favorite out of the 4 professors teaching this course. He was engaging and showed interesting videos in class. He was also super willing to answer any of my unrelated questions pertaining to random things. Super nice guy. As for the course, READ THE BOOK. EVERY PAGE. Don't summarize, or skim, read every last page. I didn't buy the online companion thing and I didn't buy the 'teacher notes' spiral thing from the book store. And I did perfectly fine. Just DON'T fall behind on reading. The class is challenging, but it's fine if you reeeeaaaad.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-01-30

Comments:Intro - Keele is great. I really enjoyed his section. He adds the most charisma to the class and his section is very interesting. Weaver is still the best, but Keele is the most straight forward. Just study the book and you'll be good.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2014-12-17

Comments:NSC1306 - I actually really liked Dr. Keele. He was funny, engaging, and he told you which sections you needed to read specifically for the test. Also he tested mostly from the lecture, so if you paid attention and studied, you probably did okay. I was aiming for an A, but I only had a 3 days to STUDY study for his test because of a Psych test the Friday before, and a paper I had to write that week. If you're decent at time management then you'll probably do well in the course. Keele seems to know what he's talking about, and I would be willing to take him again. Grade is not course grade but Test grade, as the class is divided into four parts separated by tests.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2014-12-08

Comments:1306 - Cool guy...not a great teacher. He is very all over the place when he lectures therefore leaving alot for yourself. Read the book, take notes on the reading and study those and your guaranteed an A on his exam.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2012-05-12

Comments:3319 - Let me make this clear: this is not the Keele you had in intro. At least in that class he sort of taught, but above that the intro book is amazing (seriously, once you start taking upper level NSC courses you're going to realize how amazing that book is). The book he has us use for his class SUCKS. IT'S GOD-AWFUL Run-on sentences ad nauseum and everything is some tiny little detail, almost impossible to sort out what's useful. I complain about the book so much because that's pretty much what you have to learn from, don't even bother going to class because his lectures are pointless and he never takes attendance. His lectures "Oh, I'll spend 30 minutes talking about this tiny little detail that won't even be on the test, then rush through a bunch of slides because of it then done." Asking hi questions is also useless since it's just a tangent withing a tangent within a tangent. Doesn't drop any tests (4 I think) and online quizzes once a week. Get a group together for those. And buckle up, cuz this class is going to spit you up and chew you out. I'd actually take Drugs & Behavior over this. Seriously.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-11-08

Comments:NSC 1306 - I definitely like Dr Keele. He was funny and goofy and a great lecturer. I didn't enjoy his first half of his sections (senses) just because I didn't like the subject but he was still great to listen to. I made a C on his test. It was difficult, which threw me off because I thought his subject would be the easiest to learn. Read the book and pay attention in class. You basically have to learn everything for this class.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-05-23

Comments:NSC 1306 - Dr. Keele's lectures mainly relied on visual aids, which was rather helpful considering that he was covering visual perception and emotion. Many of his visual aids got the whole class to participate. For example, on his visual perception lectures, he had us look at some optical illusions and explained how and why we were perceiving them the way we were. On one of his emotion lectures, he illicited startle reflexes from everyone and showed us a graph comparing the startle reflexes of normal people and impulsively aggressive people. I would recommend him for visual and kinesthetic learners.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-05-10

Comments:1306 - This guy knows what he's talking about. He gets off topic sometimes, which isnt that annoying unless its right before the test. I didnt find his section of material very interesting though. Read the book and take notes in class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-04-29

Comments:NSC 1306 - Keele's a really nice guy. He's funny and smart and has good intentions. That's where the positive stuff ends. He tries to make his lectures interesting, but tries too hard and misses the point of lecture: to teach. His unit was pretty difficult for me to grasp and was my lowest grade (87) but it dropped...yay! Read the book and lecture notes and you'll be fine. The final for this class was extremely difficult. I got A's on all the tests and needed like an 82 on the final, but ended up with a 78. Lucky for me, they lowered the grade cutoffs :)  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-02-14

Comments:1306 - He was funny, but was average as a prof. I did the worst on his exam, but it got dropped. His unit is probably the most difficult to teach, so I guess he did well.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2010-05-11

Comments:1306 - he missed a lot of classes which was daunting because that meant i had to read all the assigned chapters. his jokes werent funny. he tried to hard. sometimes it felt like he didnt know what he was talking about. worst of all 4 teachers. but he was nice  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2010-01-12

Comments:3319 - Keele's not as bad as others say. He's quite jovial, random and helpful if you ask for clarifications or explanations. Clinical Neuroscience is just hard, and that tends to reflect back onto people's perception of the professor. Secondly, there IS a ton of material, and there's no way a dinky little 50 minute lecture can do it justice. If you take this class, you need to suck it up and take some joy/pride into your readings. A 'C' is supposed to be around the average in any given class, and this is true in upper level neuroscience courses.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-01-09

Comments:1306 - keele is so wonderful!! :) he's my favorite of the four!! any issues you might have he will be so willing to help you with after class. he was out a lot this semester though /: his test was the easiest in my opinion. he does sometimes trail off topic a little but it's usually not TOO irrelavant. one thing i loved about him was that he gave us the sections he wanted us to read, so we didn't cram things we didn't need.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2009-12-12

Comments:3319 - Dr. Keele is a putz. Characteristics: Unorganized, sporadic, unreliable, offensive, and the list goes on and on. This single man (although Patton adds credibility to this statement) is what is wrong with tenure. He would rather get through every chapter in the book as quick and undetailed as possible for the mere ability to say that he got through all of the chapters. He could car less if the students actually learn the material. He does not explain anything in class. It is ABSOLUTELY pointless to attend class. There are quizzes every week, which are supposed to keep you up on the reading (which is alot) and test a general understanding of the material, but are so detailed that he reuses quiz questions on exams. If you take this class, take it with ten other HP's and no other hard classes because it will kill you. No matter what, you will hate keele.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2009-11-25

Comments:4330 - Don't be fooled by reading the previous reviews! I thought he was one of the better lecturers after Intro also, but once you get into the major courses for NSC, you will have to take Keele for both Clinical and Behavioral.. both of which are a nightmare. The workload for Behavioral is just ridiculous and the exams for Clinical are so detailed that they are almost impossible to study for. I hated these classes because of how they were taught, not by the material itself. These classes were my only C's in NSC because of Keele.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2009-08-25

Comments:1306 - GREAT teacher, i learned a lot from his lectures. he was the best teacher in into to neuroscience, make sure that you pay attention and go to class!  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2009-05-28

Comments:1306 - he's the third of the 4 to teach the course, his part of the course is also interesting, just pay attention in lecture and read the text and you'll do fine on his exam  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2009-04-20

Comments:Intro - Keele is pretty easy, just read the lecture notes for his tests. His lectures are interesting and he has quite a sense of humor. I also had him for University 1000, don't be afraid to talk to him if you have a question, he's very very nice.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2009-01-07

Comments:Intro. to Neuroscience - Keele was soooooo easy. I would compare him more to a space cadet rather than a Neuroscience Professor. I honestly think he a very sweet man though!! His test was my highest exam grade from the class. His lectures are fun too!! I do suggest he lay off the SNICKERS though. Tongue and Check!!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2008-12-18

Comments:1306 - Keele was the best prof in the team taught class, his test was the easiest and he was the most willing to explain the info. He showed us the Batman intro and some other random movies, which was great. He also misses class alot and cancels often, so enjoy!  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2008-01-24

Comments:Intro NSC - Keel is a little... Funny. He tries hard to be funny. He loves examples that won't help you on the test in the slightest. As usual, read the book, throw away the Grade Aid because it's useless (or don't write in it and sell it back for a few dollars)... Ummm, read the textbook. Frequently.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2008-01-04

Comments:Intro to Neuroscience - Keele is so much fun! You will love his part of the lectures! He makes neuroscience so interesting and has fun examples and pictures during class!  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2007-05-30

Comments:NSC 1306 - Dr.Keele was definitely made the lectures interesting with his demonstrations, I just wish he would have actually done a little more teaching as opposed to showing us random websites. His test was much harder than expected, but you can just read the book and you should be fine.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2007-05-10

Comments:1306 - The test was not that bad considering I only studied for an hour and got a C. However, it is a difficult section simply because there is a lot to know. He focuses more on the visual section than the disorders, so don't get caught up on that last section.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2007-05-04

Comments:1306 - Dr. Keele's lectures were full of examples and demostrations that helped, but did leave a lot to be covered by the book alone. His test was not too difficult, he used some of the questions in the grade aid.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2006-12-14

Comments:1306 - Dr. Keele is better than Dr. Patton, but still not the best. Although his section is very interesting, it seemed like he wasted a lot of class time showing us cool demonstrations, which meant we had to teach ourselves a lot of the material outside of class. His test is the hardest of the 4 in my opinion, but only because it gets very specific as far as the brain structures involved in certain things.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2006-12-05

Comments:1306 - He is pretty corny but he makes it interesting. He covers a lot of the disorders which in themselves are fascinating so his section was worth attending. Because the info was so interesting, his test was pretty easy because you can actually enjoy studying it if you are interested in it. He gives a lot of examples and diagrams which really explain what he talks about which helps a lot. I enjoyed his section a lot.. definitely recommended.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2006-05-25

Comments:NSC 1306 - I did not like Keele very much at all. Although he does post his power points online right after lecture, his teaching skills are not very good. He couldn't answer about half our questions and the test was very difficult. Unless you're a psych or nueroscience major, stay away from this class  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2006-04-11

Comments:intro to neuroscience - of the 4 teaching this course, he is by far the best. despite the corny jokes he actually makes the class some what fun. his tests are also the easiest.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2005-12-15

Comments:1306 - I loved this class! I am a pysch major and seriously contemplated switching over to neuro after this class. Dr. Keele is a really cool guy, he is interested in his subject, and doesn't have one of those voices that is going to send you off to dreamland. I was excited the whole semester just waiting for his classes to start. I took him spring 2005, and i've heard he has gotten better since then. I would take this class if you are wanting to learn something that is beyond interesting, it's amazing, taught by 4 really passionate guy, all a little quirky in their own way, but definitely cool.   - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2005-12-05

Comments:1306 - i had this course last year and its sooooo cool. it's team taught by 4 smart guys, but they make it fun. keele plays lots of videos and stuff. the classes on depresison and schizophrenia were my faves.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2005-01-21

Comments:1306 - His test isn't as bad as people tend to think. It covers alot of material, but he cuts you down alot and its fairly broad. He tells corny jokes but is super helpful and knows what he's talking about and is usually pretty excited about it!  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2004-12-10

Comments:1306 - Whatever you do, don't skip his classes. His lectures come straight out of the textbook. If you miss his lectures, you better read the material on your own. The test is the hardest, but if you go to all his classes, you should at least pull a high B.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2004-12-09

Comments:1306 - Definitely save your absences for Keele's section of the class. It's awful. He has no idea what he's talking about and can't answer any of your quesitons. His test is the hardest and the most boring.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2004-05-21

Comments:1306 - His part of the series was a little dry, but not because of his teaching ability. I think he'll get better and make it more interesting as time goes on. He tried his best to make the class as interesting as possible. I thought he did as best he could. He's pretty funny in class. He did some crazy things like make us do the chicken dance in class to remember something. It actually helped me remember it for the test and final! Overall, the material is pretty dry, but he's interesting and nice when i talked to him in his office.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:neuro - AWESOME!!! First, he shows us how vision and hearing work using illusions and the batman theme song. Then, we talk about mental disorders like depression and prozac. All of the profs that team-teach this class totally rock!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:NSC 1306 - This class is amazing, and Keele works hard to make boring stuff like vision seem interesting. The people i sit with skipped his exam. I recommend taking his exam, because it was definitely NOT the hardest of all.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:I would definitely say save your absences for his portion because he is the worst of the 3 professors. He left right before our test and we were expected to learn the complicated vision section from an inept grad student who couldn't get the powerpoint to work, so she just gave us a walk, and then didn't go over the stuff she missed the next class. I made the lowest grade on his test out of all of them, despite the fact that I studied the most for it. I guess when you are only 19 or 20 years old and are having to TEACH YOURSELF tough material, it doesn't sink in too well.

Comments:Dr. Keele doesn't have a very good way of presenting materials to the class, his lectures are very boring and sometimes feel unhelpful. I had to learn the material without his help.

Comments:You can make an easy A in his classes but you have to learn everything yourself. The book is much more clear than his lectures.

Comments:Out of the three professors that team-teach this course, you should save your absences for Keele's portion. He is unclear in lectures and left a week before our test without saying anything to us. He left out class in the hands of a not so capable grad student.
