Comments:1300 - Dr. Greene is a very kind man and I respect him, but I will admit that I thought this was going to be an easier class than it was. In the end, your grade is completely up to you. Each exam is over one chapter and there are 10, but only 8 will count. There are also many quizzes, and he will drop one. Later in the semester, he will allow you to retake 2 exams if you want and keep the higher scores. All of these make it easy to bounce back from bad grades, but you have to put in the work!! Study the powerpoints from class that he puts up online and make sure you basically have them memorized. The textbook is imperative to have; he wrote it himself and pulls questions from it. His exams can be difficult because they are EXTREMELY detailed. You will need to know everything from the material to make sure you can get an A. Each exam has 25 questions and anything from the powerpoint/lecture/textbook is free game, so make sure you know it all. COME TO CLASS. He will give you extra credit on the next exam if you show up on days where attendance starts to go down, and will also give you hints about what questions will be on the exam in class. I was expecting an easy A, but actually had to put in a lot of work. I realized this too late and the fact that I got a B is totally one me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Greene and he is one of the most generous professors with the opportunities he gives and his VERY lenient grading scale. Take him, but be prepared to come to class and actually study if you want that A! - Grade In Class:B |
