Comments:negotiation - very easy and fun class. She drops grades at the end. It is very easy to get an A in her class. Take her if you get the chance to learn a lot, and have a lot of fun doing so. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4320 - Negotiation. This is a great class, and Dr. Perry is a great professor. Learned a lot, and most of the class is negotiations with other people (low stakes and everyone gets to know each other). Take this class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MGT 4337 - She definitely plays favorites when it comes to grading. I think this entire class could have been a 2 week crash course but she drags everything out. Just like a lot of the other HRM courses they try to make an easy class harder than it needs to be. Overall tests aren't hard (2) + essay final. And weekly reading quizzes. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4337 - She is a great person, but teaching style is completely subjective and she plays favorites heavily. There is an absurd amount of out of class work and she drags classes on longer than they really have to be. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:Negotiation - LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Perry! Excellent professor who really knows what she is talking about. I was super nervous about the in class negotiations but you do them in groups and you learn something new from each one. Her midterm was super easy. You have online quizzes due each week which are actually kind of hard, weekly negotiations that require about 30 minutes of prep. She gives great feedback and is engaging. One of my favorite Baylor classes and professors. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:4320 - Dr. Perry was new in Fall 2014, and is probably one of the best professors/one of the best classes I've had at Baylor. She really knows her stuff, enjoys teaching the information and makes a class that had potential to be really intimidating, really fun. The section I was in was TR, so on Tuesday there would be lecture/discussion over the (short) readings, and on Thursday you would come to class prepared to negotiate. The negotiation planning worksheet takes about 10min outside of class to do (they have to be typed most weeks). She's a pretty fair/easy grader on the planning worksheets. There's reading quizzes due before class every week, pretty simple, and she drops the lowest one. There's 2 tests and a final, again all questions and grading seemed fair and balanced, 1 real world negotiation presentation that is actually really fun to put together, and 2 self-assessment reports. There's also over 10 points extra credit available throughout the semester. Overall Dr. Perry is young, fun, easy to get alone with, and eases any anxiety about negotiation you may have going into the class. She even offers to meet with you before/during the job application process to practice negotiating salary and the like. I would recommend her to anyone!! - Grade In Class:A
