Comments:ARTH 1300 - Such a kind professor. Great class to take when you know your other classes are going to require a lot of work. Exams are very simple if you take notes in class and the art he chooses to show in class was great! Take him!! You would have to really try hard to not have an A.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ARTH 1300 - Genuinely probably the easiest class you can take. The exams are open notes and he quite literally reads you the exam questions and answers at the exam review day (which is the class day before the exam). You are allowed to take the exam during class time but at home, and it's open note. Combine open note with the fact that he already told you the questions and answers the class before and you've got an automatic 100 on pretty much every exam. Plus there's no homework. The guy is super chill and nice, and the art is honestly pretty interesting sometimes. Take Noel Robbins, there's literally no way you'll do poorly or regret it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ART1300 - Take him!! His class is super easy and has no homework. There are online exams and sometimes online lectures. Easiest case I have ever taken. This is a great GPA booster.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ART 1300 - TAKE HIS CLASS. Easy A and actually made me enjoy art. Literally the nicest professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-04-23

Comments:1300 - wonderful man. very passionate ab art and a very easy prof. he knows most are just there for a complete credit and gives no final. also gives all the test answers beforehand as an open note guide. if ur into art his class is interesting and there is no hw.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-01-03

Comments:Art History - Extremely easy. But you will be bored out of your mind. Literally just 4 tests as your work for the year, and he tells you all the answers the class before. Most people skip or sleep through this class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2022-11-11

Comments:ARTH 1300 - This class is an easy A. Honestly just go to the test review, or watch the review video he posts. he will tell you what questions are on the exam.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2022-05-15

Comments:ARTH 1300 - Super easy class for art credit. Take good notes and use them on the exams (which are open-note). The class is made of 4 in-class exams, the last one being the final (comprehensive with new material), but they are all weighted the same. Best advice is to take good notes and pay attention. You can try to google the answers but the way the questions are worded along with the answer choice, it is best to just pay attention and take good notes.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2022-05-09

Comments:1300 - This is a simple class. He uploads a lecture on Tuesdays and Thursdays (varying from 50 minutes to an hour 15) and you just take notes over them. The tests are open note with unlimited time and are pretty straight forward.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2021-04-08

Comments:1300 - This was a pretty easy online class! You just have to watch lectures twice a week and they are pretty long (usually around an hour) of just him talking. However if you do watch all these lectures and take notes you will get an A, the whole grade is based off of 4 exams!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2020-12-14

Comments:1300 - Avoid the online class, but take Robbins in a traditional setting. It is very easy to do well in here, but the online class did not have review day lectures (which are evidently a huge help in doing well on the exams!) The online lectures were BORING, but the tests were not difficult. Workload is virtually none - all you do is take 4 exams all semester.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ARTH 1300 - Professor Robbins is literally the sweetest man. He understands that most of us taking this class just need the art credit, but he tries to make it interesting and said it is good to have a liberal arts foundation. This class wasn't hard at all, we had 3 tests and a final and they were all strictly based off of lectures. The lectures were boring at times, but the tests directly reflected the material he covered. Also he genuinely cares about all of his students and really wanted us to succeed and do well in his class. TAKE ROBBINS  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - This lecture was strictly presentation, but we shifted to online halfway through the break. I think that he did the best he could through online.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ART 1300 - Mr. Robbins made this class as simple and straightforward as possible which I liked. There were a total of 4 exams (3 exams worth 20% each and then the 4th exam was worth 40% of your grade and was partially cumulative). Take notes during class and then study those notes for the exam. Also, the class lecture before the exam is a review day where he lets you know things that are important to know for the exam which is super helpful which helps limit the number or random dates and artist names you may have written down. If you do that then an A should be easy peasy for you.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Take him!!! He is so sweet and kind to his students and he cares about your grade, but also understands that this class is a non major intro class, so he doesn’t make it any harder than it needs to be. If you take notes and listen,he literally tells you what’s on the tests. There are 3 tests and one cumulative final (which he counts as a regular test) for the course and that’s your only grade, but they are not difficult at all so don’t worry.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ART 1300 - TAKE RIBBONS. you will regret taking any other prof. he doesnt have a textbook for his class. everything on the exams are from his lectures so you MUST be present and paying attention. i heard that some people didnt take notes and just paid attention to the reviews for each exam and still made an A; they got advice to do this from upper classmen. While that's possible, i cant speak on that because I took notes every class and did well. i didnt have any friends who took him so i wouldnt really know. But pay attention, study, and enjoy having prof ribbons, and you'll get an A. He's so kind and he's really passionate about what he does. Also, sometimes class gets cancelled cause he drives from Austin to work at Baylor. Sometimes the traffic doesn't let him get to class on time so he cancels.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Fantastic professor. No homework assignments, and he gives a review right before every exam that has everything on it  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Nice guy! Take notes, pay attention in class, and definitely go to class on review days and you'll get an A. Take him!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2019-12-21

Comments:1300 - This is a super easy class. There are no quizzes, just four tests and he gives you a review right before the test. He takes attendance daily. I tried to be interested in this class but he just kind of reads off the power point, and makes no effort to engage the students. He is really nice and once in a while, he makes these super sassy comments that overall make the lecture more enjoyable.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2019-12-20

Comments:1300 - HOMEWORK:There's literally no homework, except study the night before the exams. EXAMS: There are four exams, and those are your only grades. (Test 1, Midterm, test 3, Final). You don't need to take notes until REVIEW DAY, because he basically gives the exam questions and answers that day. My friend and I did that, and finished with high A's in the class. Just study (memorize) your review notes the night before, and easy 98-100.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2019-12-17

Comments:1300 - Professor Robbins is very nice and genuinely cares about his students. His class is made up of two exams, one midterm, and one final. If you attend the review the class before the exam and take good notes on what he says (or if you search up a quizlet) and study it before the exam, you're practically guaranteed a good grade on the test. Although the tests are easy with the proper amount of studying, they are not common sense, so do not go into the test expecting an A if you didn't study the review or pay close attention in class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2019-05-07

Comments:1300 - This class is literally so easy. The tests did not take very long at all and they are the only thing that contributes to your grade. He lives pretty far away so you can't really talk to him at all, he's decent at responding to emails. If you miss a test (all except the final) he will let you come in and make it up at a later date in class. Theres no homework, he posts his power points, multiple choice tests. If you need a GPA boost you found your class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2019-04-30

Comments:1304 - Robbins is a really good teacher. While his lectures can be a little boring, he is really invested in the art and absolutely loves it. He loves when you ask questions or share your experiences with different pieces of art. Most of what you need to know he goes over during the review day. The grade was just composed of your tests and the final plus your attendance, so its pretty easy. The tests are very easy, all multiple choice and most of the class finishes within 15 minutes.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2019-04-07

Comments:1300 - TAKE NOEL!!! He is such a sweet man. He really is invested in the content and knows more or less what he’s talking about. What sucks is you only 4 tests and that’s the whole of the grade. He changed it up this year so it isn’t a “only have to show up for the review and test” sort of class. But he’s so kind and clearly loves art. If you sit there and at least sort of actively participate class is fun and not awkward.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2018-12-10

Comments:1300 - Robbins is amazing. If you need an art credit or a GPA boost or both take him! He literally just wants students to do well. The tests are the only grades, but they're ridiculously easy, like...if you don't get a 100% every time that's on you easy. You'll see what I mean when you take it. The class itself is interesting and not stressful whatsoever, you can skip and its no problem (attendance is just a sign in sheet), and he usually lets you out early anyways, its great, he's great, take Robbins for sure  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ART1300 - Dr. Robbins makes this course a breeze! If you want an easy A, TAKE HIM !!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-12-16

Comments:ART 1300 - Robbins is great!! He’s super passionate about the subject and doesn’t make the class too involving as he knows most are non-art majors taking the class. Robbins is super approachable and lectures are interesting! This class is an easy A. 10/10 recommend  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-12-12

Comments:1300 - Robbins' Intro to Art class was the best class I have ever taken. If you don't take Robbins, you are missing out. He is very passionate about art, and he also hates photoshopping models and the Kardashians, in case anyone was wondering what his stance on those two topics were. Great guy  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 Honors Section - This is an awesome class for an honors student, if you need a fine arts credit, lower level honors credit, or a GPA boost. It's also just a great class in general-- it's very interesting material, and Dr. Robbins is the best. He is very open to discussion in class and always has something real to bring to our discussion about art, from racial issues to feminism to religion. He also kind of fights the man, but seems to forget that he is the man (hence the easy tests and laid back class atmosphere). Definitely would recommend this class!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Robbins is a wonderful professor. He is evidently passionate abut what he teaches and is very kind towards his students. He runs this class aware of the implications of art 1300 being a non-major class. Many students would spend most of the class on their phones and he would not mind. Yet, regardless, for those of who paid attention in class, a wonderful and immersive experience into analytical thinking as well as the historical aspects of art over the course of time is presented. His tests are absolute easy A's. His class is absolutely an easy A. I very much recommend him.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - This class was great! I learned a lot about art and the general history of it without it being a name/date/excessively detailed/teacher's-opinion-is-the-only-accepted-point kind of class. I actually have a newfound appreciation for art due to Prof. Robbins! Take him if you can!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Art 1300 - TAKE HIS CLASS. He's very passionate about art, and the reviews he does before the test is the exact test and answers. So make sure to bring your laptop to get them all down.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - TAKE HIM. He is wonderful and the class is easy. He is extremely knowledgeable and cares deeply about art without being pompous and annoying. Go to the test review days because it will help you out a lot on the tests. 3 multiple choice tests, super easy.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2016-11-21

Comments:ART 1300 - Professor Robbins is awesome. He understands for most BA's that art has absolutely nothing to do with our majors, so he makes the class a breeze. Just show up and take notes and you'll be fine. He gives an amazing review for each test, just study the review and you'll easily make an A in the class. He's really chill too.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - He is soon great! Choose him!! Also easy A  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Professor Robbins is brand new to Baylor University. He is very sweet, easy-going, and funny. He cares about his students, he cares about art, he has experience in the art field (specifically painting), and he is very relatable/approachable to all students. I think Professor Robbins’s experience plays a huge success in his teaching style. He uses PowerPoints with pictures, and sometimes videos or diagrams. He makes the class laugh, and when he makes the class laugh he gains more respect with the students and the students are more willing to listen. He takes attendance through a legal notepad that gets passed around the room and has his T.A. enter the names in. I have not completed the course, I still have to take his final, but I would say this class is if not a blow off, really easy. He focuses more on the student learning the material as opposed to testing them and watching them fail. Overall, if you are going to take art appreciation, take Mr. Robbins!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - Noel's a funny guy! Passionate about art, and there's no homework. Also, he practically gives you the answers to tests the class period before tests.  - Grade In Class:A
