Comments:MGT 3325 - Operations Management was one of the more interesting and practical classes I've taken at Baylor. He has a lot of industry experience and didn't get his MBA until later in life which I really appreciated as you were able to get a very real perspective on how operations management actually worked. He tells a lot of stories about his career which are really interesting. The class is a lot of simulations and actually working on projects making it a very "real world" class. I had him on a MWF schedule (50 minute classes) and we got out in like 30 minutes almost every time. If you find a quizlet and go through it a few times and you pay attention in class a little bit you'll find his exams super easy. He also offered us extra credit for showing up to class the day after dia. There are quizzes weekly that you don't want to forget about, but they take 2 minutes to take. You need to take Wright for this class, one of the better professors I've had at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4355 - This class is excellent, mike is excellent. If you want a class to be creative in actually apply the stuff you yap about in other business classes then take this course. I learned a ton in my consulting project, got some really good experience and had a blast doing it. One of the most down to earth and enjoyable professor and people I have ever been around!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - Professor Wright is so chill and is so nice. He is always willing to help you in anyway he can, even if you have a MacBook which he hates. The workload for this class was not bad at all, and he gives you study guides for the exams, which line up perfectly with the test. Take the quizzes, pay attention to instructions during the small projects and ask questions because he will give you a lot of help, and look at the study guides for exams and you will be golden. Professor Wright also has a lot of interesting stories and experiences, which make the class engaging. Highly recommend!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4355 - Professor Wright is awesome. Class is an application to the real world and he lets you focus on the project. Never any unnecessary work. He's always there to help you with the project, he values your experience more than the grade. Class probably had the least workload I've had in awhile but I still learned way more than most classes, which is awesome. 100% recommend Wright for Consulting. (4355)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - Professor Wright is incredible. He is the sweetest person and his class is very manageable. At times its kinda boring, but that is not his fault. There are a couple confusing projects but his office hours are super helpful. There are two tests, both easy to make an A on just from the power point slides. take him if you can.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4355 - Professor Wright is so nice and treats you like a young professional rather than a student. You essentially spend the whole semester working on a consulting project of your choosing which he is super helpful with. He also usually let us leave class early if he was done teaching. Great class! I learned a lot!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - Dude is the goat. Very laid back teaching style and often lets out early. Reading quizzes aren't that hard. He explains the concepts and application well. Projects were complex at first but he was very helpful, and having a team in your row was nice. Exams weren't super hard, he provides guides and other resources to help you. Team simulation was fun and challenging at the same time- he offered extra credit for a certain simulation score- as well as extra credit for attending speaker sessions in Foster. He will work with you and help you as much as he can. I would definitely recommend taking him.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4355 - I am assuming an A but we will see how the final presentation goes. This class is incredible! So practical with a fantastic and very knowledgeable professor. He teaches the content well and chose great books to go along with it. He is always available to help you out. The workload entirely depends on your project so choose wisely. Also, the quizzes are open-note and the midterm and final are the exact same questions as the quiz (he will straight up tell you this if you ask) because he wants you to focus on your project. Take consulting!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4355 - Prof. Wright is incredible. He can be intimidating, and definitely has high expectations for his MGT Consulting classes, but he will do everything he can to help you succeed both in the class and in your future endeavors. Projects aside, the biggest things you will learn in this class are 1) communication 2) organization and 3) how to do a case interview. Add to that the hands on consulting experience, and this class is easily one of the most valuable classes you can take in the Baylor business school. My only piece of advice is to be thoughtful when you pick you project. Some of them are more difficult and time consuming than others, and a huge part of your grade depends on how successful your project is and how well you can present your results to a panel of judges. I HIGHLY recommend taking this class with Prof. Wright!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3325 - He is just the best! He lets you leave right when he's done. I'd say for the majority of the semester I was in and out in 25 min. However, he was a wonderful professor. I learned so much. He was super helpful in every capacity. I'm really excited to take him for management consulting!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3325 - Professor Wright brings a lot of knowledge to the table, he has experience working with Boeing and L3. There are only 2 exams, a midterm and a final. You do a lot of Harvard Cases, a quiz almost every week, and read a comic book. I really enjoyed the class and would take him again. An A is a 93.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Consulting - Professor Wright doesn't waste time and he holds you accountable, while honestly perfecting the mix of project/lecture/discussion. No meaningless homework, genuine life skills, and he may even get you a job by the end of the semester! He's a huge asset for Baylor and his decades of experience in consulting allow him to answer pretty much any question you might have. Not to mention he's a down to earth, funny guy, and he'll help you in any way you need. Can't recommend Prof. Wright enough, just do your work and communicate with your group and your client and things will go smoothly!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3325 - Take Wright. He is straightforward. He ends class when the material for the day is done.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3325 - Professor Wright is great. There are a couple of projects that you have that are kinda difficult but if you go and talk with him during his office hours he will help. The midterm is super easy and all you have to do is study the powerpoints. Some of the quizzes are a tough because you have to read a lot for the quiz but they don't count for too much. Take Professor Wright! He is super knowledgeable about all of MGT.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4355 - I took him for management consulting Mr.Wright is one of the best professors in the business building. His class offers real world experience that you can actually put on your resume. The workload for this class is extremely easy because he’s more focused on trying to teacher you real world experiences. I would recommend this class to any major because you learn so much and through his consulting project and gain valuable experience.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - Mike Wright is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is willing to sit down with you AT ANY TIME and work through the homework and helps you learn. He does not just give you an assignment and leave you to figure it out on your own. There is a midterm and a final and it is literally just the quiz questions. I took the midterm (50questions) in about 7 minutes and got 2 wrong. So it is a very easy class but I have learned more from the professor than any other class. TAKE HIM!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - Most slept on professor at Baylor. Ops MGT was a breeze and he was only relatively boring- he offers a bunch of real world examples. I'd highly recommend professor wright if you're looking to make an A and some good friends during class. TAKE THIS CLASS!!! :)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - Don't understand why his ratings are so low. The guy is the goat... teaches from real-world business cases why is very interesting.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-11-02

Comments:MGT 3325 - If you are looking for an easy A take this class. He relates all the material to real world scenarios and makes it super applicable to jobs you may take. In order to make a good grade in this class all you have to do is show up and participate. There are 2 exams and very simple quizzes over Harvard Business Materials that are easy to read. To summarize, take Professor Wright's class its the best decision you will make.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-11-02

Comments:3325 - He is extremely unclear with the homework assignments. He does not give any instructions on what is to be done, and does not explain any detail about it. The only positive to this class is his midterm is easy. He grades based on participation in class, which you have to submit, so don\'t skip class. Also, he does not accept excused absences, even if you are extremely sick, he expects you to be in class. If you miss one class, it will hurt your grade a lot.I would take another professor. His class is beyond boring, unhelpful, and you don\'t learn anything.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2017-11-01

Comments:3325 - He is straight-forward with what he expects and his quizzes/2 exams reflect how straight-forward he wants the class to be. I appreciated the given participation points if you came to class and stayed awake in it, however your grade is greatly effected if you miss more than one and being a 3-hour Friday class missing one Friday meant missing 2 "classes". The simulations helped a lot in solidifying what we were learning in lecture. He often failed to realize that the expectations you had for your former employees should be different for the expectations you have for your students. Employees have gotten the degree which means they've already been taught. Students on the other hand, need to be taught these things and need to have instruction on how to elaborate on the foundation set by previous courses. He would often get frustrated when asked to explain how something worked or how the answer was found. He is also patronizing and not very courteous in his responses if you answer wrong to a question he asked in class.  - Grade In Class:A
