Comments:CSS 1302 - Awesome professor. Really funny guy. Very easy class. Didn't feel the need to make the class harder than it needed to be.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:CSS 1302 - I took him for speech and he's a great guy. Fun person and he's pretty lenient about the side assignments besides speeches. It felt like he did everything in the best interest of the class. The final was open note and online. The speeches were fun topics and allowed a lot of freedom on what to talk about. If you need to get a communications credit, definitely take him.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:CSS 1302 - I love Mr. DeHay. He was a great professor and only made you show up on lecture days and the day that your speaking group had to present their speeches. There are 5 speeches throughout the semester and a Final Exam, so there aren't many assignments. He makes the class very enjoyable and doable, so there is almost no work aside from writing your speech and presenting it. You should definitely take DeHay, he's an amazing professor and really cares about his students. He is also willing to work things out with you if something comes up in life.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3304 - Terrific professor, tests are very straight forward and assignments are very doable. You will also learn quite a bit during lectures, and DeHay does an incredible job of incorporating all of his students, as well as not wasting your time. Take this class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:CSS 1302 - Professor DeHay is very great. This class is far easier than Dr. English's class as well. There are 5 speeches, a midterm, a final, and other points that come from other small assignments that aren't hard. The speeches come pretty back to back, but if you sit down and do the work, you can knock out the outline in about an hour. You also don't speak in front of the entire class until the very last speech. You are divided into speaking groups, about 6 people. The midterm and final come from the notes you take during lecture days which are presented on Prezi. He is young, so he is relatable and he uses clips from The Office and Parks and Rec in his lectures. You also get quite a few days off in his class. Take him!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - This was not a bad class at all! Public speaking can be nerve-wracking, but Professor DeHay was very reassuring every time. There are five speeches, a midterm, and a final. There isn't much need to read the book, but it's nice for studying the multiple choice/matching terms that might be on the midterm or the final. Not much homework at all. Mainly speeches. Practice for an hour or two and you should be okay! Professor DeHay was very nice and entertaining, and I would definitely recommend him!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:CSS 1302 - Great teacher! We didn't have class a lot of times. You don't have to go to class if it is not your speaking day. He is a pretty easy grader. He gives a lot of extra credit too. I enjoyed his class! Take him if you can.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Probably the easiest and most fun speech class you can take at Baylor. Prof. DeHay makes lectures interesting and fun for students with typically clips from Parks & Rec and The Office. He divides the class into 5 speaking groups and when speeches are assigned, you only have to show up on the day your speaking group is going. You have so many class days off. The exams are super easy. I finished the midterm in 10 minutes and got an A. The speeches are very relaxed. He tries very hard to take away any nervousness you might have. Take him if you can!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Small Group Com - Probably one of the easiest classes I've taken at Baylor. As long as you don't miss any of the classes and take notes during his lectures, you will pass with flying colors (I didn't even buy the book). There are only two tests, the midterm and the final, which require minimal preparation. The only other grades include 2-3 short essays (all 1-3 pages in length), and a group presentation at the end of the semester. Professor DeHay is really good about relating the material to our everyday lives.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - You should for sure take him! His lectures are interesting and he tries to make them fun for students to listen to. He's always so positive and helpful to students. I was nervous about the speeches, but he does everything he can to make you feel comfortable and like there's no pressure. The tests are easy, I finished in like 20 minutes. They were exactly like the notes and he made the questions simple to think through even if you don't know the answer. He tries to be friends with his students, I felt like I could talk to him comfortably and he doesn't act like he's above students like some other professors do. I'm taking him again for small group. Love the guy!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3304 - Absolutely take him if you can!!! Guys he's definitely my favorite professor at Baylor. He makes his lectures all relevant to us and adds video clips and stories to make it interesting. His tests are really easy and straight from the notes/lectures. And he tells you exactly what to study. He usually lets class out a few minutes early. He's such a nice guy and really cares about his students. He offers a lot of bonus points and tries to help your grades as much as possible. I've taken him twice and I would totally take him again if I could. Absolutely take him it's the best decision you'll make at Baylor!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - DeHay is pretty stinking cool. His lectures are interesting, he adds pictures and videos to all of them to keep you paying attention. He has 5 speeches, a midterm, and a final. Plus a few critiques so makes sure you always do your outlines and work to the best of your ability. Listen as to how to use zotero because it'll make your life so much easier. I think a lot of people under-studied for his midterm and I wouldn't suggest it because it's one of the only two tests during the year. When taking notes, if he repeats something twice make sure you write it down, or any lists. He loves lists. It's pretty nice in the beginning of the semester when there's speaking groups because if your speaking group isn't meeting you don't have to show up to class for a week plus. Do all of his extra credit that you can! The only negative I have about DeHay is that he's a little unorganized. It would take him way too long to grade speeches and critiques, and he refuses to give a 100 which can really hurt you. Other than that I would for sure recommend DeHay for Speech for Business Professionals!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Mr. DeHay is great! He's super nice and eases you into your speeches, so it's not so intimidating later on. Definitely recommend him for speech!  - Grade In Class:A
