*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:4340 - Great professor. I know the other profs for Database are generally a little easier, but with Prof B, you will actually learn. I had no knowledge of SQL, and it ended up being my favorite class all semester. The quizzes can be a little tricky, but there are only two exams (half MC other half writing queries), and it wasn't too bad. The group project is moderate in difficulty, but he is the best professor I've had at Baylor and in the MIS department. I would recommend him to anyone, and nothing we did was unmanageable. I thought it was easier than Intro Python. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4322 - this man is everything. such an amazing person and an amazing teacher. definitely a fast-paced class that requires you to have a baseline of python knowledge from the 3301 class. hes an amazing prof!!! PLS TAKE HIM! also there are exams that are just coding projects and the midterm and final are half mc and the other half is a coding project. there is not a lot of lecture and it's mostly doing and practicing which is so helpful. i have seriously learned so much from this class hes the goat. only homework is repositories you turn in with multiple coding projects/half from class and half from homework. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:3305 - Professor B is great! This class isn't hard, and there are only 2 exams and one final. It is pretty boring to sit through the lectures, but he tries to make it bearable. I would say that you need to make sure you learn excel well because if you don't and you get tested for it, it takes a massive hit to your grade. He is a nice guy though and the class is not overly hard. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:anyone - Just take him! He is easily one of the best professors at Baylor. Bhojwani also teaches invaluable real-world lessons during his classes which i thoroughly enjoyed - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MIS 4322 - God bless this man. Always take him if you have the option. That is all. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4322 - You will hear great things about Dr. Bhojwani from pretty much everyone and what people say is true. Bhojwani is an incredible professor who teaches an invaluable skill very well. He teaches very well and is just an all around incredible person. Take this class if you can or as an elective if you need another MIS class. Also take Bhojwani for 4340 (database). - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MIS 4340 - I really liked Prof. Bhojwani. He's super nice and makes nearly every class engaging. He also went out of the norm for other SQL class' syllabi and spent more time teaching us a ton of easily applicable information and how to avoid mistakes he made early on in his career. He is just a very sweet and knowledgable man and he made this my best class, even though I always thought of myself as being bad at computers and coding. He invited me to a fellowship night which was a very kind gesture and I enjoyed it, even though I'm not a Christian. Enjoyed this class and this professor, could not recommend more. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1305 - Professor B is an awesome professor! I took his class because I saw the excellent reviews on him compared to other Business 1305 teachers and he did not disappoint. At first, the class was tedious because he goes over content for pretty much the whole hour 15, but once I started really paying attention and following what he was doing on the board, the class flew by. His homework assignments are due weekly and they are pretty simple if you follow directions and the tests are split into 25 multiple choice questions, and a 25 point excel "hands-on" aspect. The multiple-choice could be a little wack at times and especially hard to study for, but he does reviews the class before the test that go over 50 multiple-choice questions, 25 of which were on the test, so if you paid attention, it was easy to remember a lot of the answers. The Excell part was much easier and based on the content that we had gone over in class. Overall I 100% recommend, I had a much better time in this class than most of my friends did with other 1305 teachers - Grade In Class:A
Comments:BUS1305 - I was one of the lucky students who got to have him when he taught 1305 fall 2019 (he usually teaches upper-level courses) and it was the absolute best! He prepared you in class so well and taught so clearly that I barely had to study for the tests and got an A. The keys to success are DOING THE HOMEWORKS WELL and PAYING ATTENTION if you do both of those you could probably at least get a 95 easily. The homeworks are not hard or long but you need them to learn. Also, he is soooooooo nice!!! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MIS 3305 - If you are an Accounting Major and have taken AIS already, this class is a breeze because you've basically done everything before. Even at the beginning of the semester he asked the class and said these people will be your best friends. The tests are easy and on the computer. If you study quizlet you will get an A. He is very helpful with the group projects and is always available whenever you need him. Very lenient on grading because he would rather you learn the material rather than regurgitate it. Overall one of the best teachers I've had and am taking him for the graduate class too. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MIS 3305 - Professor Bhojwani is great! Overall, his class wasn't difficult and the workload wasn't bad. There are 4 tests throughout the semester plus the final. The 4th test is a makeup exam that can replace your lowest test grade. There is also a semester-long group project with 2 presentations that are done only in front of him and one final presentation in front of the whole class. There are also a few individual and group assignments. We had one group assignment over Access and he told us that he wasn't going to review Access during class, but if we had any questions, we should ask him. If you ever have any questions about anything (the group project, assignments, etc.) ask him. He is accommodating, super helpful, and willing to help. The assignments are definitely doable and if you pay attention in class, you'll be fine. You should take him if you have a chance!! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MIS 3305 - Alright so obviously when you look at the reviews on here it sounds like this class is a total breeze, so that's why i took him. Clearly spring 2017 he was super easy and baylor cracked down on him for it. He's not extremely bad, but still the project is so much work and even when you do an excessive amount of work he takes points off for dumb things. He's very nice, but you can tell that he does a lot of his grading because Baylor makes him do it that way. Like I said super nice guy, the problem is you don't learn anything in class. I was not taught how to do Access by him, I had to sit there for hours to learn it. I think he's still the best option for MIS 3305, but don't go into this reading any of the previous reviews, because obviously their semester they literally did nothing in the class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3305 - Mr. B is a fantastic professor, easily one of the best I've ever had. His class has a light workload, and straightforward tests which were directly from the powerpoints and the review. On top of that, he makes class fun and interesting. He genuinely cares for his students as well, even inviting students staying in Waco to have thanksgiving dinner with his family. Absolutely recommend him. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3305 - Mr. Bhojwani cares greatly about the success of his students. Also, it is extremely evident that he loves what he teaches. He is a man of great character that incorporates fun activities into his lectures. He is much different than any other professor I have ever had at Baylor University by far. I have learned more in his class this semester than I have in any other class that I have taken at Baylor thus far. Baylor needs more professors like Mr. B. Great teachers make great courses. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3305 - I didn't know what to expect coming into this class since it was Professor Bhojwani's first semester to teach. He is BY FAR my favorite teacher I have ever had at Baylor. He is fun, energetic, and he loves what he teaches. He hates lecturing for long periods of times so a normal day in class looks like a short lecture and then class exercises that are actually a lot of fun. Professor Bhojwani is a strong Christian and he will invite the entire class to go to a bible study he hosts every Thursday. He gives you free food and its delicious! His tests are exactly from his in class notes and they are multiple choice questions with some short answer questions. He gives out A TON of extra credit and he prepares you super well for his exams. Professor Bhjowani is my ideal professor, I wish every professor would teach and invest in his students like he does. - Grade In Class:A
