Comments:MGT 3305 - I have such mixed feelings about this class. First off, it is an insanely large workload, so maybe don't take this class if you have other difficult classes during the same semester. It's not that the subject is hard, but Judge Wright is very unclear about expectations of work/grading. He would often not put grades in for large periods of time and then just randomly grade things with no explanation for grades. He is very busy since he is a Judge so it is best to schedule a meeting than try to drop by. He is fun to listen to in class, clearly has a wealth or knowledge, and is a nice guy, but this class is more work than I expected out of an intro to management class. Be prepared to do group work all semester, and be careful who you pick for your group since the workload could all fall onto you. He also gives you a pop test towards the end of the semester with no warning, even though he says he doesn't give tests.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Judge Wright is really a cool guy. He is sweet, but his class sometimes feels like a waste of time. There are no exams except for the final, but the semester's assignments are easy and take no effort. I think that he is a solid choice, but be prepared to work in groups all semester and have a semi-large workload at the end of the semester.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Judge Wright. What a character. He’s definitely not the worst thing ever and he’s definitely not the best professor on campus. He is undoubtedly the tallest/largest human on campus that isn’t wearing a jersey and suiting up on Saturdays. If you’re not gonna read all this, at least read you do not need to buy any books. Everything can be found on Quizlet/online. As for the class, it’s kind of hard to describe. There’s all kinds of weird busy work type homework that takes virtually no time or effort which is nice. There’s really only 3 big assignments, 2 of which are in your group/company, and 1 of which is just a easy two page paper you write on your own about a business leader. The first one is a paper + presentation on an ethics case (ours was about the dilemmas at the company OpenAI) which is not bad and doesn’t take a ton of time. The other one that’s due right around May 1, is the bigger one where you have to invent a product that adds value to a society and 3D print it, then have a 10 minute presentation for the class. We’re a month out and our group (plus probably all of the others) haven’t started so it will be interesting. I should also mention there’s no tests except for the final, which is just the same questions from the small quizzes you did all semester that can be found online. Overall, I’m not a big fan of how weird this class is set up, but I will admit I understand it. You don’t get to choose who you work with in real life, so making it work with 4 others in this class is a great simulation of that. Combine that with the nonexistent day-to-day workload when a project isn’t close to due and you get a pretty chill class that you should get an A in if you don’t massively bumble the big things.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305/4320 - Judge Wright is hands down the best professor at Baylor. If you don’t like him, that says more about you than it does about him. His classes are straightforward to succeed in because he genuinely focuses on making sure you learn the material. Honestly, even if he started teaching underwater basket weaving, you should take any class he offers—you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3305 - I hate the way that he walks I hate the way that he talks I hate the way that he dresses .He is so very narrcicistic it hurts . I think he thinks he's the best human ever literally . He uses himself in every single example because he does just such a good job of being a human . He never responds to his email because he's just too big Time for you . May drop a diss track on him later idk  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - I loved the content of the course itself and the way Judge Wright teaches I find very interesting as well. My biggest issue with him as a prof is he gives grades and never tells you why you lost points, like it feels like he just plays favorites a lot of times. The class is basically a massive group project which I didn't hate, but I know isn't for everyone.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4320 - Hot take but I do not like how this class is taught. I will say he is kind and wants to get to know everyone. He is a judge so it makes sense that he would bring that into the class, but there was so much legal jargon in class that felt irrelevant. You do a bunch of negotiations outside of class. Luckily, there is really only one test which is the midterm, and he prepares you for it, and even offers extra credit which helped my grade a lot. The final was a 3 1/2 hour simulation. He really emphasizes reading between the lines a lot and making assumptions, but you should make the assumptions that he wants you to make, not your own. But it's not a bad class and an A is attainable.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4320 - So much group work to do. We only have midterm and final exams, it's hard to gain a high score. But he is a nice person.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MGT 4320 - When I tell you I would die for this man, I mean it. I've been telling all my friends and the randos on the bus to take Negotiations and to specifically take it from Judge Wright. He makes the class super accessible and easy to succeed in it. He is always available to help you out on assignments and answer questions, or even with practice interviews and prepping to negotiate job offers (both of which I took him up on and it helped me get the offer/develop a plan on how to negotiate my rather weird offer). He can be on the blunt side, but that's just his personality. Underneath, he's just a teddy bear who really cares and brings us candy to class for an afternoon pick-me-up. There are in-class and out-of-class negotiations, quizzes, and readings, but they're all easy and applicable to the class and designed to help you become a better negotiator. There is a participation chart, but it's super easy to fill out. Additionally, because he is a judge and has a law practice, he sometimes does extra credit where you can accompany him to court (I hope that isn't a secret because it was a ton of fun to go to federal court with him). There is a big final simulation that is done with 5-6 total people where he is the mediator, but he gives you lots of time to prep and will answer whatever questions you have if you are stressed or confused about it. Love love love Judge Wright and love this class. One of the most helpful, useful classes I have ever taken, and one of my favorite professors.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4320 - This class is awesome. Professor Wright is one of the most engaging professors I have ever had. He does lots of in class exercises and games which are not only fun, but you actually learn a ton. He is super knowledgable and knows how to teach the information in a way that is super interesting and relevant to our everyday lives. This is one of the best classes I have taken at Baylor. Your grade is based mostly on assignments and out of class negotiations, but there is also a take home test that is an easy grade booster. He also gives you lots of opportunities to earn extra credit. think it would be hard not to earn an A in this class. Take him!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4320 - Judge Wright is one of my favorite professors at Baylor. The class is really straight forward and easy to get an A. Had him for the 3hr+ class, but it went by really fast each time, he usually let us out at least 30 min early. Would recommend taking him no matter what time it is.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4320 - Easily my favorite class at Baylor. Information is very relevant, he has all the experience you could want in a professor, and class is fun to attend. There are a lot of in class simulations, but no presentations and only a mid term and a final test. These tests are hard but won't kill your grade. Highly recommend!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4320 - I honestly learned so much in this course. Wright makes class fun and entertaining, and actually knows a ton about negotiations. He also doesn't waste your time. I took this as a 3 hour evening class and the longest class we've had (so far) was 1.5 hours. I will say that his class is not as interactive/practice-based as other professors, but this does make the workload significantly less. Wright still makes sure that you grasp the fundamentals. (PS He also brought us pizza to class once so that was cool)  - Grade In Class:A
