Comments:US History from 1865 - Dr. Payne is the best teacher I've had at Baylor so far! He is a bit awkward, but loves what he is teaching and makes funny jokes from time to time. He also prays before every exam. For the final he brought in treats. He has a bit of homework but it is easy and his quizzes in class are on what was discussed in the last class. He offers plenty of extra credit and is generous in his essay grading. His tests were easy and I looked forward to going to his class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2366 - Dr. Payne is the man. Great professor, great person. His class is fast paced but interesting; requires effort but very rewarding. A man who prays over his class before very exam is someone who genuinely wants the best for his students and it shows. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Payne!  - Grade In Class:A
