Comments:4327 - I just want to start by saying he is such a sweetheart. He usually begins class by talking about sports or the weather, which makes the environment feel relaxed and welcoming. While the lectures can be a bit slow at times, he brings a lot of experience in the field of geriatric death, which adds real depth to the material. He grades very fairly as long as you complete and turn in your assignments. He also responds quickly to emails, which I really appreciate since that is not always the case with other professors. I truly enjoy the course and value his overall perspective on death. The workload includes journal entries, a few assignments, and a presentation, but everything is very manageable. He is super old school uploads nothing into canvas, so I do suggest coming to every class to receive assignments and know what's due. Everything must be turned in in person! But he's super lenient if its late. Attendance is not taken but again suggest that you come to class to receive assignments and know when things are due. His lectures last max 30 min somedays and never the full length so he lets us out early! :)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PUBH 4327 - this is the easiest class I have taken at baylor. Dr.K is really nice and a very easy grader. At the end of the semester, he gives a 60-point extra credit assignment, so you don't have to worry about the final exam. Take this class when you have other challenging classes, as it doesn't require much time at all. Just turn in something with your name on it and you got a 100%  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PUBH 4327 - Class is super straight forward and really interesting considering the material we are talking about. Classes are usually him debriefing us on changes he made to due dates (if any) and upcoming due dates, class lecture, and then probably a reminder about upcoming Baylor athletic events. 1 presentation, some general assignments from the textbook, journals, a midterm, and a final. He posts all his lectures on his Canvas page under announcements so if you miss something while he is lecturing in class, since he doesn't use a PPT, then you can find it there (the announcements are usually word for word verbatim of his in-class lectures). Also, he doesn't post grades into Canvas so it is up to you to keep track of that, but he does hand back graded assignments so its not hard to double check the number of points you have accumulated. Midterm and final exams are exactly like the study guide he provides so do them and you will do just fine on those! Overall, he has lots of stories to tell that make the class interesting and the class is pretty simple/laidback.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4327 - Easiest class I have taken at Baylor. If you turn in the assignment, you get a 100. Tells you exactly what you need to know for the midterm and final. Super nice guy. 10/10 recommend.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PUBH 4327 - If you have the chance to take Dr. K’s death and dying class do it! He’s really nice, and always has something funny to say. He tells you exactly what is on the midterm and final, plus class usually gets out in 30 minutes. This class is an easy A!   - Grade In Class:A
