Comments:1387 H - Literally no complaints. Tests are straight forward. Class is interesting. There's some reading, but it is actually interesting. Quizzes daily, but if you skim you are fine. Super flexible and such an amazing person outside of class. A great lady to get to know!! I suggest taking her if you can 1000%  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSC 1387 H - Dr. Corey is amazing, if you have the chance to take her, do it! I took the honors section of the core curriculum psc class--thought it would be boring and ended up loving it. There is a fair bit of reading given I took the honors section, but it was worth it. We had great discussions and debates about current topics as well as the supreme court cases. Dr. Corey is a great teacher who explains things well, is passionate about the topic, and very helpful. As long as you decently keep up with the reading you'll do good in the class. I would highly recommend her!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSC 1387 - TAKE HER. She gives daily reading quizzes which are very easy if you read the reading. The tests pull directly from those quizzes so an easy grade is obtainable. She is very knowledgable about the subject and she allows you to replace the exam with a fun project.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - I have nothing but praise for Dr. Corey. I took two different classes with her last fall (those being PSC 2302 Constitutional Law & GTX 1301 Art History). At first, I was slightly intimidated by her (as she’s super intelligent, well-qualified, etc.), but I quickly learned that she’s actually a very down-to-earth person. She’s also very helpful and really wants her students to succeed. In both classes, reading and class discussion were key components, as well as occasional short quizzes, tests, and papers. The reading assignments and short quizzes are a little daunting at first, but they’re fine once you get the hang of them. For the most part, Dr. Corey is an easy grader (in fact, I’m pretty sure that everyone in my two classes finished with As). So, all in all, I definitely recommend taking Dr. Corey if you want an enjoyable PSC or GTX experience. Trust me, you won’t regret it!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:GTX 2301 Honors - Dr. Corey is by far my favorite professor at Baylor. Her class is obviously quite a bit of reading, which you have to expect from a Great Texts class. The in-class discussions were fascinating, and she does a great job of directing it without taking a side in the discussion. She'll periodically give reading quizzes at the beginning of class, which are extremely easy if you've done the reading. There were 3 papers in the class. The first two prompts were pretty straightforward, but the last one was a little more complicated. She doesn't have set office hours, but she's always willing to set up a meeting to review your paper or talk about whatever you want to talk about. The final was just 50 multiple choice questions about the books, and a lot of the questions were drawn from the in-class quizzes. You get from this class what you put into it. If you put in effort and do the readings, you'll love Great Texts and you'll absolutely love Dr. Corey.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSC 2302 HON - Dr. Corey is an amazing professor! She is so interesting and engaging, and definitely knows her material. I learned so much and enjoyed it! Sometimes there is a lot of reading, but that's to be expected in an honors class. Take her if you can!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FYS-1399 - Love Dr. Corey! She's a great professor and really good at keeping discussions balanced (not an easy thing to do when conservatives greatly outnumber liberals in the class). She challenges you to think, but makes class really enjoyable. Homework consists of readings, which usually don't take too much time. Her tests and quizzes aren't too hard either, as long as you know the cases. I highly recommend taking Dr. Corey if you have the option, because you will not be disappointed.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSC 2302 HNR - Dr Corey is by far the best professor you can have for this class. You have to do a lot of primary source reading, and there's a reading quiz every day, but Corey makes this class as fun and engaging as it possibly can be. If you can take her, do it!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:PSC 2302 Honors - This is a VERY rewarding class!! I highly recommend it to anyone, regardless if they're interested in politics or the Constitution. Because at the end of the day politicians control the fate of the country, it makes this class very relevant to our daily/future lives. Dr. Corey is extremely helpful with essays and is NOT too heavily biased. She absolutely hates when an entire class has the same views because the spark of debate is lost, so she tries to remain neutral about almost everything--playing devil's advocate usually. This class is all about the Supreme Court and reading the actual government documents produced from each major case. Most people hate this class, but it's because they didn't have it with Dr. Corey. She is inspiring. Take this class if you can! (Class sizes are small too)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:GTX 2301 - This was my favorite class! Admittedly, I hated preparing for class (40-120 pgs of reading, depending on difficulty). Classes were almost purely class discussion, and I found it very rewarding. Honestly, I put 3 for workload, but the class was not particularly difficult, only time consuming. There's two exams and three out of four possible essays. You can turn in all of the essays early and she will review them and give them back for editing. Also, she will let you re write another one near the end of the semester. So, overall if you take advantage of what she offers, you can succeed AND be a better writer because of it! Also, the class discussions will make you think (sometimes to the point of headaches). Take Corey!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSC 2302-H1 - Dr. Corey is a really cool prof.; She knows her stuff and keeps class really interesting. She won't make you buy the textbook, but you do have readings EVERY night. She gives 5 question quizes everyday, but if you read they're not bad.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:GTX 2301 - Dr. Corey is an awesome professor. Her tests are fair, her quizzes are easy, her essays are stright-forward, and her reading assignments are very manageable. Recommended.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:FYS1399 - Wonderful professor that loves her job. I took a honors political science class of her's and thoroughly enjoyed myself in it. I'll be taking her again next semester and I can hardly wait! Be sure to read the material she assigns. She does not give that many tests, and her quizzes count as the majority of her grade, so be sure to do well in those.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:Social World II - Dr. Corey is awesome. Her class is hard, but not impossible. Do well on the quizzes, bc they count for a good portion of your grade. She led our class discussions very well, and I felt comfortable talking and voicing my opinion in class. You will love her!!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:GTX 2301 - I highly recommend Dr. Corey! An excellent teacher, good at steering class discussions, and very knowledgable and resourceful. She's relatively young and very enthusiastic about her subject. She's a fair grader, the daily quizzes are easy as long as you read, and the workload is managable: about 30 pages a night and only a few papers spaced throughout the semester. I only rated her down on availability because she's only part-time and never in the office, but she's pretty good about responding to email.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:GTX 2301 - I'll admit the class was hard, but Dr. Corey made it fun with all the heated discussions she brought to class. She's so nice and takes the time to get to know your name. I definitely recommend her if you ever get a chance to take her.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Social World II-Really nice lady...grades a little on the hard side but she seems to be very fair. She has an awesome personality and makes reading political philosphy interesting...she has great insight and a great passion for what she does.
