Comments:3305 - Genuinely one of the sweetest professors I have ever had. I went through a lot in this semester and she was always understanding and helpful through it all. One of the best professors I have had at Baylor by far. She genuinely cares about her students and the content of her course. Her passion for teaching students is apparent in how she not only teaches her course but through her actions. The class is a LOT of content and can feel overwhelming but if you stay on top of it and go to her office hours she is more than willing to help. Definitely get to know her! She's amazing!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:BL 3305 - Professor Bostick is very kind and I have a lot of respect for her. The class itself is very hard but she records a lecture for each topic covered in a chapter and posts it under the chapter module which I found very helpful if I needed to miss class or wanted to review just one specific concept. If you're struggling in her class, I would highly recommend going to her office hours. When I went, she was very patient in helping me understand the problems and answered all of my questions.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3305 - Dr. Bostick is one of the best professors that I have ever had! Her class is very engaging and interactive which made it easy to understand some of the harder concepts. She does cold call, so if that is not your style than maybe stay away from this class, but the questions she asks are very straight forward and she is very understanding if you get the questions wrong. There is no homework, but you do have quizzes every week. Each quiz has bonus questions that allow you to replace a question if you got them wrong, and if you got a 100 on the quiz the bonus questions can bump you up to a 103 on the quizzes. You also get 2 chances on both the quizzes and the bonus questions. Her questions are very straight forward and she does not try to trick you. Her exams are set up the same way, while I don't remember her putting any questions from the quizzes on the exams they are formatted the same and with a very similar difficulty. The exams also have bonus questions that give you more wiggle room for some of the harder questions. She also has videos posted on canvas so that if you are confused on a topic she has a video explaining the concept and working through some problems relating to the topic. I only watched the recorded lectures before class and then just paid attention in class and that was all of the studying that I needed to do. She is also super available if you have any questions or any issues with the exams and quizzes as they are lockdown browser take home. She also has extra credit assignments that you can do that boost your grade by 2 whole percentage points. These were super fun to do which made them not feel like an assignment but a journey of applied learning. The final is also departmental and I feel like she does an amazing job preparing us for the final. Some side notes: She does cover more content than the other professors, but she is fair on the exam by making it open note for that exam. She also makes you bring a name tag to class so she can call you by name, and while I was scared about it I found it really comforting that she knew my name and it made her very approachable with any problems that I had. Also when going into office hours to ask questions or review exams she is very clear in how she explained the topics. Overall I thought about going to law school because of this class, partly for the purpose of being able to take one of her classes again. I cannot recommend her enough, she has such a joyful presence that it makes the class seem so easy.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BL 3305 - I love Lottie!! She's so sweet and really enjoys her job. She's great at teaching and gives so many examples and in class activities to help you learn. 2nd to Prof Carpenter, she's one of the best professors in the business school. She's just a joyful person. I would 10/10 recommend her  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:BL 3305 - She is basically Elle Woods. Smart, sweet, and cares about the people around her. She REALLY wants you to succeed. This class IS hard, but she breaks down each concept so that it is easier to interpret.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:BL 3305 - TAKE HER! It is a challenging course, but she makes the class so engaging, wants to see you succeed, and offers a lot of extra credit. She is one of the sweetest professors I've ever had. She invited students to her house for Thanksgiving dinner and dropped her address in Canvas for students to come ask questions after her office hours. She is incredibly smart and an amazing professor!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - PROFESSOR BOSTICK IS LITERALLY THE BEST! This class is tough but she uses really interesting examples that she actually experienced to make the content easy to understand. She also provides SO many resources such as lecture videos and powerpoint slides. She also puts detailed notes documents in the modules, which I found to be very useful when studying for exams. 7 exams might seem like a lot, but the content being split up made things very simple. She is also big on extra credit! She is so helpful and is seriously one of the nicest people on the planet. PLEASE TAKE HER!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BL 3305 - This course is definitely meant to challenging, but Prof. Bostick does everything that she can to make it as simple as possible. As of right now, she is the only professor who does ~7 tests throughout the semester. This may sound bad at first, but you will thank yourself when you are not constantly taking tests over 10 chapters of content. Additionally, most of the tests have a 2-3 day window of taking it on Canvas so there is a lot of flexibility. Prof. Bostick also gives so many extra credit opportunity; if you want an A in the course, you will not have to worry in her class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Professor Bostick makes this class easy. The content is somewhat tough but every test and homework assignment has bonus points. Test average was usually in the mid-80's without bonus points. 5 small tests which did get tedious but they were pretty easy if you do the study guides. Contracts test and final aren't bad. The only thing is she does take attendance, never cancels class, and you'll stay the entire time nearly everyday. Overall, best professor by far. She's hilarious too!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BL 3305 - Bostick is quite literally THE BEST professor I have had at Baylor thus far. Everyone tells you that business law is a hard class and that is true - but she is incredible at breaking things down and making sure you understand them. She also goes around the class and asks questions to everyone which helps you make sure you get the material. Take her if you can - you won't regret it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BL3305 & 5304 - Professor Bostick is the best professor I have ever had at Baylor. She goes above and beyond to be available to meet or answer questions and responds very quickly. She is very friendly and has the best real world examples she shares in class from her experience as a CPA and lawyer. Her class is one of the only classes I've taken at Baylor where students frequently ask questions in class, even ones that are slightly off topic, just because she makes class interesting and has so many interesting stories and is genuinely brilliant. She doesn't bog down class with a long academic readings or useless assignments - everything from her notes to class activities to homework is concise and relevant to the real world, and she always inserts helpful real-world business advice into her lectures. Business law isn't inherently easy, but she provides plenty of bonus point opportunities and extra credit in addition to being very available. You should definitely take one of Professor Bostick's classes if you have the opportunity, and you should get to know her too because she is awesome.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BL 3305 - Bostick is super nice and makes business law as interesting as she can. Not much of a workload, and tons of extra credit options. Didn't even mind taking her at 8 a.m.! She's great.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Bostick is the cool mom of all professors. Extremely helpful and willing to explain concepts in detail if needed. I was hesitant taking this class at 8am but it was totally worth it. Workload isn't bad with around one short study guide due each week. The exams are fair. Don't know why anyone would give her a negative review.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 & 5304 - Bostick is the best choice for Business Law! She is so helpful and nice I cannot imagine anyone reviewing something different. She has the most amount of office hours that I've ever heard of but will still meet with you outside of those times if you ask her. The courses she teaches are difficult in nature but she really helps you understand the material. All of her exams are evenly weighted pretty much on difficulty in 3305. They are pretty similar to the study guide and questions she does in class. In 5304 the first exam was easier than the second and I have not taken the third yet but they are still relatively the same.Very similar to examples in notes and quizzes. Take her!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - I really enjoyed this class even though I had it at 8 am. It can get boring at times because it is law material, but she tries to make the class as interesting as possible by including personal experiences during her professional law career. There are few homework assignments that she actually takes as a grade. The hard part is the tests. Study hard for the tests and get decent grades and you will be fine. I felt like the first test was the hardest and then it got a little easier as the semester progressed. She also gives up to 3 points of extra credit to your final grade so take advantage of that. Last, she is a very kind person and is very accessible by email. I emailed her and she once replied to me within 20 seconds. I would recommend taking her!  - Grade In Class:A

She explains the concepts very well and interesting stories from her law career to keep the class engaged. She also cares a lot about her students.  - Grade In Class:B+
