Comments:1305 - This class was my easiest class this semester and I am a bio major. Due to covid, there were no tests. The grade in her class consists of attendance (you still get points even if you watch through zoom), homework (super easy and open note), and her final exam. The final exam was open note and we got to choose the format. My class chose to do all 100 multiple choice questions for her final exam. It was easy since it was open note and untimed. Take her class for an EASY A. She always finished her lectures early as well. She also will help you with bio lab questions if you ask or email her.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - TAKE HER. If you want to save your gpa and life take her. She admits herself that she is the easiest professor. On the first day of class she talked about how she would be making sure no on has a C or below. Covid really made this class golden, no tests just one homework assignments a week thats usually only 4 questions.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BIO 1305 - TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!!! I took her after having to drop my biology class from my first semester. She is the best biology professor at Baylor and really wants you to succeed. The test were straight fro the powerpoint and the work load was not bad at all. Barely any assignments in class. Overall great experience and honestly wished she taught BIO 1306.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Let me tell you if there is a subject that I am TERRIBLE at it is biology, but she is absolutely incredible. When there were questions on the exams that a multitude of people got wrong, she would actually blame herself and count them for full credit for everyone because she didn't teach them to us well enough. She wants ALL of her students to succeed and flat out told us that this is college and she is not trying to trick anyone in this class but just wants us to learn. Half the credit of each exam is composed of short answer questions that are extremely easy and it is hard not to score the full 50 points for. Very very easy professor that also fully teaches the material and made biology less completely horrible. She also cancelled class often because she went on a lot of trips and this was my morning class which was really nice.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - I definitely would not recommend Dr. Barr. She uses unfair assessments of her students and does not know what to expect because she's a new professor. Her class may seem easy but she will turn on you so quick if you seem like you have other priorities. And because most of her exam questions are essay based, that gives her a lot of leeway to say your answers are "not sufficient". In my three years here I never had a worse professor.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1305 - Dr. Barr is THE best professor in the Biology department. If you can get into her class, DO IT! She only teaches 1305 and not 1306 and is primarily a researcher so she doesn't teach many other classes, but she does teach 1305 in the Fall. Every week there is an online homework which really helps prepare you for the tests. The only other grades she gives out are in-class worksheets that are really free points as you don't turn them in and tests. There are five tests and the final, and you can drop the final. The tests were 50% essay and 50% multiple choice. The "essays" were 3 short-answer in which you wrote three to five sentences each. They were all based on her PowerPoints and not the book. She is very down to earth and really wants everyone to succeed in her class. Plus, her SI is great, although I don't know if she will be an SI again. Please take Dr. Barr--she is fantastic and you will thoroughly enjoy her class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - The absolute best bio professor at Baylor. she WANTS you to succeed and clearly states that she is not trying to weed you out. She explains material clearly and makes sure it is clear what will be covered on exams. I never got below a B on an exam and for the B's i only studied for about 45 minutes. There are 5 exams and a final, and you can drop one exam, if your grade is good enough, you can drop the final. please take her she is a blessing.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BIO 1305 - Really easy grade booster class. She really makes the class easy for the students. S.I really helps before each exams because the S.I pinpoints what we need to know. Dr. Barr has 5 exams, 1 final, and she has 10-11 hw(but she drops 1). Also, she does do class activities once every two weeks, and it's 10 points extra credit.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Guys, do yourself a favor and take Dr. Barr!! She is extremely nice and she doesn't expect you to know every single detail in the book. She drops the lowest test grade and the lowest quiz. If you have an A by the week of finals she lets you exempt the final!! She does do daily clicker quizzes but honestly halfway through the semester they were only used for attendance. For her tests she is looking for a basic understanding of the material and it is all MC, which is very doable. 10/10 she is wonderful and kind, take her class!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Honestly one of the nicest and most understanding professors. You only had to know what was on the power points to ace her tests (although the book helps). She drops an exam and even exempts you from having to take the final if you have an A. Such a sweet and understanding professor. Take her if you get the chance!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1301 - She was new my year but THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD SO FAR. she taught very quickly but did not expect us to know the material too in depth which made her tests so easy to ace. Tests were lecture based, online quizzes bumped your grade up and she even dropped a lowest exam grade and two lowest online HW/quiz grades. If you have the option to take her I 10/10 recommend. If you had an A in the class at the week of finals, you weren’t required to take the final. Seriously do yourself a favor and take her class   - Grade In Class:A
