Comments:1306 - Professor Flinn is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the field of anthropology. The coursework consists of around 10 quizzes throughout the semester and three book reviews. The book reviews aren't really reviews, they are just very short and very easy quizzes that ask very broad questions about the book, so I just looked up book summaries for them because I did not have the time to read them through completely. During class, we mostly watch documentary films and listened to his comments on them. You do need to pay attention to some of the documentaries, as some of the quizzes have questions about specific films we watched in class. Most of the films are available online for free through Alexander Street. Overall, this class is very easy to manage, I but the bare minimum into most of my work and I have a 96% right now (though he still needs to grade a few things). I highly recommend taking Professor Flinn, he is such a treasure!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1306 - I couldn’t recommend Dr. Flinn enough. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about Anthropology. It is super transparent to the class how much Flinn loves anthropology. I might be partial to loving Anthropology since that is my major, but taking this class made me want to learn. The books we read in this class are relatively short yet very politically relevant. You will leave this class questioning cultures, the world, and politics. Take. This. Course. I promise you, you will leave this class so much smarter, kinder, and more curious. It is also an easy course that allows you to absorb a lot of information without a lot of work.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1306 - One of the best professors I have ever taken!!! Dr. Flinn is a renown Anthropologist so I was a little intimidated to be in his class at first, but I soon found out he is a great professor that is there to start conversation. He thoroughly listened to all of our opinions about different concerns and never dismissed them. I am normally very shy when it comes to discussion, but I always felt comfortable enough to talk in his class. I hope to be able to take another one of his classes!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2305 - Dr. Flinn is one of the most knowledgeable professor of Anthropology his 2305 class was very enjoyable to have. We do have a lot to read but if your an anthropology fanatic you'll love it. We have daily question of the day to answer that relate to the topic of the lecture we are gonna have for that given day and they are so easy to answer its mostly your opinion and observations of the lecture. Lectures are a bit monotone so its hard to stay awake sometimes, good news though most lectures include videos that take up most of the time in class which is awesome the videos are so, so interesting and fun to watch. Quizzes are online take home quizzes which aren't really hard at all. We have reading reviews to do online as well, which an outline is provided and if you address each section of the outline you'll get an A. We don't have exams or a final so if your looking for a stress free class then take this course.  - Grade In Class:A
