Comments:3305 - I absolutely loved her! She's always avaliable for any extra help even by phone number. Her exams are relatively easy if you pay a little attention in class and read your notes! I got an A on every exam just by re reading my notes. She is so sweet. The hardest was the final but she offers so much extra credit and it's not her fault it's difficult it's the department but you should be fine if you ace all the other exams and do all the extra credit! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3305 - Joy McNamara for blaw!!!!!!! Literally the best ever Reasons why: 1. Spoon feeds all the notes to you! 2. On the notes, stars and underlines what will be on the exam (and verbally says it out loud)! 3. Provides study guides and test reviews for each chapter and exam 4. Uses no math (except for final bc it’s departmental and other professors are accountants and like math)! 5. Exam questions are basically definitions right off the notes! 6. Homework is hour long time limit, open book open note, 3 attempts, and doesn’t hide answers after attempts! 7. Uses stories and makes class not boring. 8.GIVES SO MUCH BONUS (just did a bonus where you get 10 points added to your lowest exam grade) and if you do all the bonus she gives EXTRA bonus for completing all the bonus! Only downside is that the class is A LOT of content (but so is every other blaw class) Bonus: she says out of her over 10 years of teaching, no one has ever failed her class (she won’t let anyone fail). - Grade In Class:A
Comments:BL 3305 - Nicest lady ever, explains everything well, and give you what you need to do well. If you get below a B I have questions. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3305 - Let me first say that regardless of who you take, this class is brutal. The textbook is nearly impossible to understand and it seems as though they have tried to cram an overview of law school into one semester. That being said, she is your absolute best bet to get an A. She cares for her students, gives multiple extra credit assignments, is always willing to help (you can even text her so she can answer you immediately), not to mention she teaches this class for fun so she really just wants you to learn. Read the study guides, take good notes, pay attention, and START STUDYING EARLY (like way earlier than you think; my next test is over 10 chapters and each chapter is a solid 20ish pages). It will be fine, you have to take it so TAKE HER! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:BL3305 - Wow, what to say about Dr. McNamara. Almost everything she did in class was conducive to us learning in the best way. She lectured at a slow pace, was always ready to answer questions, and she was easy to follow. She wrote EVERYTHING down on the board which was incredibly helpful for me because I'm such a visual learner. Her use of real-life examples was not only INCREDIBLY interesting, but they were memorable (which is remarkable coming from a student with lots of memory problems). She was patient with us and was always ready for class despite this being her first time teaching this class ever. I was I had more teachers just like her. Lastly, she repeats everything. It's annoying at first but actually a life saver because she drills the knowledge into our heads - Grade In Class:A
