Comments:MGT 4385 - Tyler is very knowledgable about the material and cares about his students. The most valuable aspect of the course is having guest speakers come in to give you their experiences in the business world. This class is very interactive, as participation is a large portion of the final grade. Take him if you can!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4385 - Strategic mgt. The best thing about his class was the speakers he brought in- they were always interesting and experienced! Worst thing about his class was the constant group work. There is a big semester long project and other group case assignments. He's definitely a smart guy who cares about his students though.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 4385 - Took Professor Self for strategic management. He is the absolute BEST. He is by far my favorite professor I have ever taken at Baylor. Not only is he insanely smart and experienced, but he is incredibly humble and you would never know about any of his success or the fact that he attended Harvard Business School. So intentional and just an amazing man of God, who walks the walk in the right way. Prays before every class. Test wasn't very hard if you come to class and pay attention. Guests speakers were awesome and very enjoyable. Overall, he ROCKS! TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!!! And take advantage of getting to know him and go to his office hours. He will bless you so much!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4310 - This class is hard no matter who you take. You learn a LOT and apply it to cases every week. Tyler makes the class fun and relatable, and is just an insanely kind professor who gets to know each of his students at a personal level. I'd definitely recommend taking him.   - Grade In Class:A
