Comments:CALC 3 - TAKE DR. MITREA! He is so sweet and LOVES math. He will tell you often about the book he has written and you can tell he just loves his job. I took Cal 1 and 2 in high school and hadn't touched calculus in 3 years before taking his class. HIS EXAMS ARE THE SAME AS HIS NOTES PACKETS! He tells you in class to study the notes and LISTEN! I also went to office hours for help when needed and no question is stupid. He wants to work with you. Quizzes were easy and he always hinted at what notes problem would most likely be on the quizzes so pay attention in class. I printed off blank notes pages and reworked them pre-test and I got a high A on every test without being a math genius. TAKE MITREA. Also sometimes his wife Dorina will sub and she is sweet too.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 2321 - Dr. Mitrea is a very passionated professor. I took him for calculus 3, and his enthusiasm kept me alive from the first day of class throughout the semester. HOWEVER! He is sometimes biased, tbh. There was literally multiple occasions during quizzes & exams where he openly gave hints to ONLY some students in a voice that only that student could hear. Take him only if you are good in math and are ready to master this stuff. Otherwise, he grades fairly to your benefit, and gives good explanation to questions.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - Dr. Mitrea is the best professor I have ever had, hands down. He made it possible for EVERY student in his class to be successful. He teaches well, knows every student's name by day 2 of class, and will not leave any student behind. One of the kindest people I have ever met, please go to his office hours and just talk to him sometime. The only regret you can possibly have in life on earth is not taking one of his classes.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Calc 3 - I cannot stress this enough, take Dr. Mitrea. I just graduated and can easily say he was the best professor I ever took at Baylor. I was super nervous because I hadn't had any experience with calculus since 2014, and I thought my six years without a math class would doom me from the start. However, Dr. Mitrea teaches in a way that that makes it easy to understand. Plus, Dr. Mitrea doesn't skimp on the subject like other "easy" math professors. I walked away from the class with a firm knowledge in calculus and an A thanks to him. I also believe I probably got over a 100 overall because he gives an insane amount of extra credit. Lastly, you gotta love his accent.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321,1322 - I cannot stress enough how thankful I am that I took Dr. Mitrea's class. I took Cal 2 with him coming out of a tragic Cal 1 experience and I was pretty terrified. But he is easily the best professor I've had at Baylor. He teaches only the material you absolutely have to know, he doesn't require a book, his tests are exactly like the notes, homework, and quizzes. He drops not 1, not 2, but 3/10 homework assignments AND 3/10 quizzes at the end of the semester. He teaches confidently and answers even the simplest questions with so much kindness, never making you feel stupid for asking it. His office hours are extremely helpful and again, he is really just so kind. I am sad that my math requirement is done because if I could take a class with him every semester I would!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 (Calc 3) - I know what you are thinking...there's only one review I shouldn't trust it. Please for your own sake just trust me. He teaches Calc 2 and 3 as far as I know and he is the literal best math professor you will ever have! I cannot say it enough TAKE HIM!!!! I had a really bad Calc 2 professor so I learned close to nothing and was kind of scared going into Calc 3 but he teaches so well that it didn't even matter that I didn't fully understand Calc 2! He holds reviews before the tests, actually answers questions and fully explains even the smallest steps if you nee him to, is superrrrrrr nice, gives fill in the blank notes, wants to get to know you, is patient, gives generous partial credit and doable tests, and HE WANTS TO HELP YOU. I honestly felt like I was taking Algebra 1 again because he made this difficult subject so easy to understand. HE IS THE BEST JUST TAKE HIM and put in some effort; you won't regret it I promise!  - Grade In Class:A
