Comments:BUS 1201 - Love this guy, his stories are iconic. The class is such an easy A and you get to listen to speakers just talk about their lives. All that was required was three takeaways. The turn in time was a little interesting in my opinion, so I accidentally missed it occasionally because things were due at 10pm instead of midnight. Just keep an eye on that and you'll be fine. Mark Dunn is a legend.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4330 - Professor Dunn's marketing coursework leaves students disheartened. It is plagued by numerous shortcomings, which are outlined below: 1. Inconsistent Testing Material: The tests cover only 60% of the material stated, leaving students unprepared and undermining evaluation integrity. 2. Lack of Objectivity: The course fails to maintain a fair and balanced approach to learning marketing, presenting a skewed or incomplete view of the subject matter. 3. Misleading Syllabus: The syllabus is merely a formality and does not accurately represent the course content or expectations, causing confusion and misalignment. 4. Inadequate Subject Knowledge: Professor Dunn's grasp of marketing concepts is questionable, eroding the credibility of the course. 5. Poor Classroom Management: The lack of control in the classroom creates a chaotic learning environment, further compromising the educational experience. 6. Inability to Address Learning Issues: Professor Dunn cannot diagnose or address learning problems, leaving students to navigate challenges independently. 7. Deficient Interpersonal Skills: His interpersonal skills are lacking, making it difficult for students to engage or seek help. 8. Condescending Attitude: The professor has a talent for making students feel unintelligent, which counteracts fostering a conducive learning environment. 9. Communication Gap: Poor communication skills exacerbate the problematic course structure and classroom dynamics. 10. Disconnection from Students: An evident gap between Professor Dunn and his students makes meaningful engagement nearly impossible. 11. Uninspiring Delivery: The lectures are monotonous and fail to captivate attention, resulting in a struggle to remain focused. To summarize, Professor Dunn's marketing course is a striking example of how not to teach. Exploring alternative courses or instructors for a more enriching learning experience is highly recommended.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1201 - This was a super easy class. Every class you have a different speaker you take notes on and then submit an assignment of 3 things you took away from them. It's super easy and Professor Dunn is super sweet and makes the class interesting with all of his stories.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 1201 - ALL HAIL KING MARK DUNN!! I love this guy, he tells the same stories over and over but hey this class is a free A, so take it. The speakers are honestly pretty interesting for the most part and the class is fun. I love Mark.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1201 - COURSE WORK: Basically, this class consists of 21 speakers high up in the business world, and each period they come talk to you. After, you write 3 takeaways and submit them for a completion grade. These speakers are worth 70% of your total grade, so if you literally just submit quality responses that are 3 sentences long, you’re getting an a in this class, which is a 92%. There are 6 weekly quizzes (7% of grade) that you take based on this textbook, and they are asynchronous online. There is a final exam worth 11% of your grade which are based on the quizzes. Theoretically, you could get a 0% on the final and still get an A. The remaining work includes a final exercise which is just a larger summary that you write of the speakers (9%), and the remaining 3% are the two lectures Mr. Dunn gives. This is an interesting and easy class that everyone should be able to get an A in. The only reason people don’t get an A is because they forget to submit their takeaways. THEY ARE DUE AT 10PM THE FOLLOWING DAY. You can afford to miss one because there is a 40 point perfect attendance bonus that goes down 10 pts for each class missed. Mr. Dunn also curves the final and drops the lowest quiz grade. This class is made for you to succeed. PROFESSOR: Mark Dunn is the G.O.A.T. There’s no other way to put it. He LOVES talking about baseball in his lectures, and he’s a very nice guy. “If you pick up a baseball bat and get a hit 30% of the time, you’re making it to the big leagues.” -Mark Dunn. His final speech will make you tear up as it is very inspirational. The ONLY knock on him is that he speaks very quietly because his microphone is 3 feet from his mouth. Fortunately, he was able to move me closer to him via my request. Unfortunately for the person reading this, he will no longer be teaching this class. I am so sorry. Maybe you should’ve gone try-hard in Kindergarten so you could’ve skipped a grade and been apart of the class of 2026. Well, better luck next time if you end up in a mirrored dimension of the past. HOWEVER, all isn’t lost. Real-Estate legend Shane Turner will still be speaking to you all next term. His speech is something you’ll NEVER forget. Also daddy Christopher Cervantes is cool too.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 1201 - BUS 1201 was my favorite class this semester. Dr. Dunn is a very wholesome guy. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his students. As for the course itself, I recommend sitting towards the front. Dr. Dunn speaks pretty quietly and it's hard to understand what he's saying at times. However BUS 1201 was AMAZING because twice a week different alums would come speak to us. It was great as they told us life lessons that they've learned throughout their career. This was also a fantastic opportunity to network with the speakers! Our assignments were just to write key takeaways from the speakers. Overall, 10/10.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1201 - This is a super easy class, it takes work to not to well in this class. The class is just speakers every MW and you have to write 3 paragraphs with 2-3 sentences. Theres 6 quizzes that are a little hard but doable. Professor Dunn is such a nice man, he has so many stories that he wants to share with his students. I can not say anything bad about this dude 10/10. Sometimes the speakers are a little boring but its alright just grin and bear it. Super easy GPA boost class though.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1201 - Prof Dunn is the BEST! This class literally taught me so much about business (things that aren't taught in textbooks) because CEOs and successful Baylor alumni talk to the classes. Utilize the speakers! Ask questions, network, introduce yourself at the end. This opportunity is rare and important. Also, the workload is insanely low. I hardly put in any work outside of class...10 min a week max. The final is a little random, but you are semi-prepped and I'm pretty sure it's curved.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1201 - If you dont get an A in this class drop out of college because there is no way you should get anything lower, and if you did that is so sad. I had a 100 before the final and it dropped alot because of it, but there is no way it should have dropped inyones grade that much.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 1201 - Homie really gave us a final over a 45 minute lecture 3 months ago…. Class is easy don’t miss any speakers. Good luck with the final. Bro single handedly took me off the deans list. I feel manipulated.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1201 - Mr. Dunn is a very sweet guy who always wanted to check up on students before class started. The class itself is simple and as long as you go to class and do the speaker takeaways, you'll easily get an A. The only difficulty came when taking the final exam. It was fairly easy if you studied but most of the class did poorly because the material was over only a handful of lectures that were spread out over the entire semester. Overall, if you take this class, make sure to never forget to turn in one of the takeaways and study for the final.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1201 - It was a good class and was nice to listen to all the speakers but the final was all over things we only went over once during those very short lecture days he would give us. As long as you never miss a speaker you will get an A just probably study for the final too.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 1201 - This class is "eh" in my book. If you miss class on a speaker day, there goes your grade. If your looking for a class with hardly any work this class is great but watch out for the final exam. You do pretty much nothing all year then are hit with a final covering topics you've only discussed once, kind of unfair if you ask me.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1201 - This course is super easy, and usually interesting. The only real work you’ll ever have to do is 3 takeaways from a speaker that comes in usually 1-2 times a week. Dr. Dunn is a nice guy too (although his stories can repeat and drag on). Overall don’t stress this class  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 1201 - Dr. Dunn is a super nice guy and very help. He tends to ramble on and on about random stories that tend to make you lose focus in the class and the topic covered. Most of the time there is a speaker that comes in and talks instead of Dr. Dunn, and you have to do a little assignment over it. No big deal. However, DO NOT MISS A CLASS ESPECIALLY ON A SPEAKER DAY!! Attendance points are a lot and if you miss a speaker day, you can\'t do the assignment, so you get a zero. I tried to do the assignment anyway when I was absent and I still got a zero. I should have an A in this class but I am still trying to get it up only after 1 absence.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 4330 - Dr. Dunn is such a nice guy! I was recommended him by my advisor who say that taking marketing analysis from anyone else wasn't even worth it. I found the simulation we did the whole semester super interesting and educational. He is open to helping you and your team as much as he can. He truly wants you to succeed in his class and will help with questions about upcoming tests until about midnight the night before. Great teacher and great class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MKT 4330 - Dr. Dunn is a great guy and nice professor, but this Marketing Analysis course was a total joke and waste of time. The class is centered on this online marketing simulation called MarkStrat that is incredibly confusing, inconsistent, complex, and not anything like the real world of marketing. There was really no explanation of how to operate the simulation before either. There were "tests" every week that are really hard. I am a straight A, 4.0 student, and I barely got a B in this class. Would NOT recommend at all.   - Grade In Class:B
