Comments:2321 - One of the best professors I've had so far. There was zero out of class work that is required. Tao Mei is funny and super helpful. I would 10/10 recommend taking his class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 2321 - Professor Mei is an excellent teacher and a hilarious human being. Calculus 3 can sound intimidating to most, but he makes sure you can tackle it throughout the semester. He is extremely reasonable with his grading system and gives generous partial credit. I urge you - if you are taking Calculus 3, take Mei!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 2321 - Dr. Mei is the embodiment of math as a whole - let me explain. We all know that patterns exist in the field of mathematics, and we cannot help but thank the universe for bestowing such predictability. Analogously, Dr. Mei's quizzes and midterms are accurate reflections of what the assigned homework covers. Additionally, he schedules quizzes on the same day of the week and midterms on the same day of the month - and students appreciate such consistency. Alongside predictability, there is uncertainty in mathematics, which fascinates people to investigate more into the field - but do not worry, Dr. Mei's unpredictability is a good thing! One moment you are learning the application of double and triple integrals, and the next, he turned a meter-stick into a half-meter-stick in a matter of seconds. I cannot remember any of my math courses to possess such comedic value, which is integral (haha, get it?) to learning such a challenging course. In short, if you want to survive in Calc 3 and get free entertainment, take Dr. Mei!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - Dr. Mei is a fantastic teacher, who not only makes Calc III a fun and entertaining class but also gives a very manageable workload. There are 11 quizzes and 3 tests along with the final. He drops 3 out of the 11 quizzes and the quizzes are usually 3 questions straight from the homeworks. The tests are modeled after each sections quizzes so essentially if you do the homework the class will be a piece of cake. He also drops one test, however this year if we did well on all of the tests he allowed us to drop the final instead of dropping a test! Along with all of these benefits, Dr. Mei has an impeccable fashion sense and is one of the drippiest men I know. If you have the option to take Tao Mei's class DO IT.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - Dr. Mei is an excellent professor. He is a skilled teacher. He teaches clearly and effectively. Moreover, it is clear that he cares about the success of his students. He sets up the class so that students may be successful. He is always willing to help outside of class and/or meet with you outside of office hours. While there are weekly quizzes, these are straight from the homeworks, meaning it is very easy to be successful. He also drops 3 quizzes. You may also drop one of your midterms, or if you do well enough on these, you can elect to not take the final. If you take Dr. Mei, you will learn to love Calc III. His enjoyment of teaching and mathmatics are evident. You may still have to do a little work to understand such a difficult subject, but Dr. Mei does not complicate it. Finally, the comedic value of the class is definetly a 100/10!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - Dr. Mei is the man to take if you ever have the choice to take him. Why... might you ask... well the comedic value of the class is just the beginning. Added onto that fact, none of the homework is for a grade. That sounds ok, you may think... but wait, it gets better! He will drop 3 out of the 11 quizzes and a whole test! If you do well on the three tests, you can even drop the FINAL! The quizzes are straight from the Homeworks and you should have no problem doing well on them. Cal 3 is a difficult class for some, but Dr. Mei makes it doable for you! With him as your professor, you will be able to succeed! Now, this all sounds sorta good, but why him over others you may ask? Well, have you ever seen a man get so excited over calculus that he breaks a yardstick? If the answer is yes, then this is another reason to take Dr. Mei. While you will still have to work in the class, I spent less than 3 hours a week on this class and passed with a very high A and so can you! Take Dr. Mei today!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1321 - He drops 3 of the 11 quizzes and drops 1 of the 3 tests. Do I need to say more. He teaches very well and is very helpful after class. He does not assign homeworks for a grade but the quiz questions are copied from the homework (all the answers are in the book). His practice tests are the same as his real tests (change in a few numbers). His class is very easy if you pay attention.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - very nice professor! Cal 3 is a very abstract course, and it is difficult for any professor to explain it clearly. But the Dr. Mei is very nice. He has a great grading standard. Take him, trust me.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - I'm going to start by saying if you can't understand thick Chinese accents, don't take Tao Mei. Other than that he was a pretty decent professor. He taught directly from the textbook, so even when he didn't do the best job explaining all of the information was available for you to find. There was a somewhat large amount of homework for each week, but the quizzes came directly from the homework and the tests came directly from the quizzes. He was available for questions if you had them.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2321 - Dr. Mei is a sweet, understanding, and very helpful man. And because he’s such a great person, it pains me to say that he is just not the most effective and clear lecturer. Calc 3 is a beast, and Dr Mei does several things to alleviate the stress such as offering bonus quizzes, dropping 3 out of 10 quizzes, and dropping an entire test, which I greatly love and appreciate. But while he makes it easier to achieve an A (also, the final is open-book and not cumulative), he still did not lecture effectively. You won’t leave the lecture having learned much, so just make sure you can teach yourself these concepts if u want an easy A. Mei assigns optional homework, and the weekly quizzes are ripped straight from the HW, which is awesome. However, as I stated before, he doesn’t teach well enough so that you understand the homework problems sometimes. His powerpoints are helpful, but he cannot explain things very clear. Overall, a great funny man who will give u every opportunity to get an A, but not someone who you can effectively learn calculus from.  - Grade In Class:A
