Comments:1301 - She was very organized and was always willing to help me work with my student if I was having problems doing activities. Her class was awesome!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:TED 1312 - This course was over the intro and basics to teaching. Personally, I came in already knowing a lot about teaching from my amazing high school program which involved public student teaching. I felt very babied in this class. It's an 8am, so everyone was exhausted, and Professor Brannon did nothing to help make class interesting or exciting. She basically teaches word-for-word off of a Nearpod presentation (a PowerPoint variant), and most of what she taught in class I don't agree with based off real life experiences I have had while student teaching. Her assignments varied in difficulty, instructions were often unclear, and she wasn't the most helpful. We were forced to use the Nearpod platform which is horrible compared to PowerPoint or other options. I personally struggled with Nearpod, and P. Brannon was little help to me. She takes forever to input grades, so you really don't know what to expect. I personally will not be taking any classes from her in the future. I dreaded going to her class each T/Th morning.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:TED 1312 - Ms. Brannon is a very kind and nice lady but that does not make her a good teacher...which is even worse for a class teaching students how to be teachers. The only thing I learned in that class is that I don't want to be a teacher. I'll give her credit for teaching through COVID but she was unorganized, unhelpful, and boring. All we did was read about ethics and responsibilities of teaching and make lesson plans that never even got shown to a single student. I hope she is a better teacher when things aren't as chaotic but I doubt it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1312 - Although Professor Brannon is nice, this class felt like an extra workload that was a waste. I took this class during COVID, so I wasn't able to get the full experience. But, I was promised in the beginning of the semester that I would have real-world experience starting very early. The online lesson plans we created weren't even shown to students, so it honestly felt like a waste of my time to create elaborate online lessons. The assignments were often unclear and when I asked for clarification, little was given to actually help. This class made me lose a passion for teaching so early since I felt she wasn't teaching for secondary/middle, but for elementary. I found myself being very confused on rudimentary assignments and often felt like the other sections participated in much more rigorous coursework. Grading was slow and irregular. My classmates and I found we'd get similar critiques but wildly different grades from one another. There was no quizzes and only 1 test, which was the midterm. She is a very nice lady, but I just didn't enjoy her class as much as I had expected.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:TED 1312 - Señora Brannon is one of the main reasons I am not pursuing a teaching degree anymore. While she is nice and approachable, her class is very elementary. I took her during COVID and we were unable to have students so our lesson plans were for nobody. Her class was quite frankly a waste of my time and I do not think if I was still pursuing teaching that I would have many tools under my belt. Her Canvas was also not very clear, I missed several assignments because I could not find them, and her turn around on grading was pretty slow. She is a nice person, but I do not think teaching college is her strong-suit.   - Grade In Class:A
