Comments:3361 - Take this guy. He's great. 3-4 tests, all multiple choice. A couple of quizzes. No attendance policy. He's a great lecturer so you still want to show up for class. The topic is crazy and way out there. Love love love love this class. By far my favorite class I have ever taken here at BU.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:religion - Bader is nuts. you can try to explain to your friends that yes, we did have a discussion on satanists and molestation of children, but youve got to take the class to understand it. his tests are pretty much powerpoint and lecture based. theres no final, but there is a group project, and he lets you roam pretty freely choosing whatever weird group you want.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3361 - This class was amazing. Three tests, one group presentation and a couple of quizzes. No attendance policy, but will on random days given extra credit points to those who show up. This class was so much fun and was the only class I showed up for everytime. The tests were all multiple choices and come straight from the powerpoints which he posts on blackboard. He's a great lecturer and keeps it interesting which isn't really hard to do with all the crazy stories he tells us. I loved, loved, loved this class, by far my favorite at Baylor. Take him... Bader is amazing.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Deviance - He's funny and works with the whole class. He engages and is very good at leading discussions. Just study and you'll do fine, OR you can never study and still pull a C. It's a great life when you have courses and profs like Bader.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:Extreme Deviance - I've had Bader for SOC of Religion & Extreme Deviance. Basically ANY class he teaches is worth taking! He made both classes REALLY interesting, and they are not difficult - just show up. He teaches really well so that you actually remember stuff from class (or maybe it's because the stuff in class is so bizarre) and don't have to study much for the tests. He gives extra credit for showing up on random days, and he doesn't take attendance. We had pizza the last day of class, and he always has at least one field trip (i.e. Branch Davidian compound, Mental Institution, Big Foot Hunt, etc.) He's awesome...take him if at all possible!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4325 - Sociology of Religion-Wow, awesome class. If more Profs were like Bader, Baylor would be a much better place. If you're needing a SOC elective, take this class--you won't be disappointed.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4325 - JESUS CHRIST MONKEYBALLS! This guy is the best prof I have ever had in my life! His lectures are awesome, he really knows how to keep the classes attention (and, more importantly, knows when a topic is dead, and moves on), and has a few guest lecturers that were really interesting. If you're looking for a 4000 level class that kicks ass on every level, look no further. Class consists of 3 exams (no final), 4 in class essays (he drops the lowest grade), and a group presentation to the class about a specific cult (sorry, NRM that is) of your choice. First class I ever had where I actually wanted to do the reading. Take this class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:SOC of REL - Chris is a cool guy, but not a really great prof. But he tells you exactly what you need to know to ace his class, and the material is really interesting. The syllabus at the beginning of the year will talk about in-class essays, exams, and other assignments, but he'll cancel the final, overlook the in-class assignments, and basically give you an A.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:He is the most awesome professor I've EVER had! He is sooo funny and his lectures are so entertaining that you actually want to go to class. His tests come straight from the study guide and arent bad at all. I HIGHLY recommend him!!!
