*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:2351 - TAKE ONLINE. easy class so long as you dont fall behind, 2-3 hours of work/study/HW per week. she pretty much tells you what to study for exams. Ive heard in person is much more difficult but online is very easy. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:NUTR 2351 - Dr. Stull is not the worst teacher I've ever had, but she certainly wasn't the best. She reads straight from her PPT slides, rushes through the material, and then asks questions on the material that we were supposed to memorize in 5-10 seconds. If nobody answers, she gets frustrated or calls on a specific person/row. The homework wasn't bad, but she is a tough grader for both homework, free responses on exams/quizzes, and the Diet Analysis Project (one of the worst and most frustrating projects I've ever had to do). A lot of her teaching style is just speeding through slides, wasting class time with videos or trying to coax a discussion on things we literally know nothing about, and then rushing through more slides before exams because she wasted all the class time trying to get people to answer questions they don't know the answers to. Her exams are a mix of multiple-choice and free-response, which makes it difficult because there's often more than one correct response but she only accepts the one she wants. For example, osteoporosis can be caused by multiple different vitamin deficiencies, but if you didn't say the one SHE wanted, then she'll mark you wrong. Trying to figure out what she wants us to study for the exam was like trying to get a cat to speak english. She would consistently repeat "just general stuff", but then ask extremely specific questions on the exam. During class, she wasn't good at answering questions most of the time. She would either just repeat the same thing, or interrupt us and give an unrelated answer, and then get frustrated when we kept not understanding the material... If you take this class, be prepared to teach yourself most of the info, memorize a TON of information/charts, and be expected to recite it perfectly after the first time she mentions it. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:2351 - I got an A on the first test and a C on all the other exams. She teaches straight from the book PPT and her study guide is everything. This class is very hard. I wouldn't take her if you have a heavy workload with the rest of your classes. She is not helpful and rushes through the material. Her assignments are just busy work and don't relate back to the class - Grade In Class:B
Comments:NUTR 2351 - She’s okay. I ended up getting an A in the class but I worked my butt off for it. I would recommend a different professor if possible. She enjoyed making her tests hard and was pleased when the whole class would miss a question on the test lol wasn’t a fan of that - Grade In Class:A
Comments:2351 - If you can, don't take her, she doesn't know how to teach, but only reads off her PPT slides that come straight from the textbook. She gives study guides for exam which basically says to study everything, but her exams barely cover most of what was on the study guide. She also rushes through the material, and expects her students to remember every detail. Forces students to answer her questions, when literally no one is answering because we don't know the answer. - Grade In Class:B
