Comments:5380 - There are goats, then there is Professor Hee. You may not get a choice of professors for this course, and he still would be my pick 1000% of the time. This course is not easy and yet Professor Hee makes it all work, which is wild considering my class is advanced with a test almost every week. I would write more but I will consolidate and say surfing is fun with Professor Hee 10/10.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3302 / 3303 - I'm telling you, Dr. Hee is hands down the best professor for both of these classes. As someone who had Edison for Managerial and Baldwin for Int I, changing to Dr. Hee for AIS/Int II instead of staying with my previous professors was far and away the best choice (and I thought that both Edison/Baldwin were amazing professors). He does not do a flipped class, do not listen to anyone who says that. Sure, you can argue he asks you to do pre-lecuture stuff, but you don't have to actually do it because he will teach you everything in full when you get to class. Dr. Hee is super chill, and extremely helpful WHENEVER you need it. He's new at Baylor and gets better every year and basically tells you exactly what you need to know for exams. He lectures from a PowerPoint that he gives you. Honestly, they're not the easiest to study from, but neither are the other professors. These are both hard classes, but having a cool professor that cares about you that also doesn't add unnecessary assignments will make your time a lot better. He has 100% been my favorite professors at Baylor and I have had a LOT of great professors.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3303 - Kevin is a G. It's not an easy class, Expect a lot of work like any AIS class. He does his best to make it easy on you. Very understanding and personable.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ACC 3302 - I've had Dr. Hee for two semesters now and can honestly say he's one of the best professors I've had at Baylor. He's extremely personable and does a great job at connecting with his students. For intermediate 2, he was able to break down tough concepts extremely well. He will send out long and encouraging messages before exams that come from the heart which speaks volumes to the type of person he is. I cannot recommend him enough. WhenI had him for AIS, he was a little scattered all over the place but I'll chalk that up as it being his first semester and AIS being a scattered course overall. I would take Dr. Hee for every course in the accounting core if I was able to.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ACCT 3302 - This man is an absolute ICON. You can tell he's so passionate about intermediate accounting because he's so good at teaching it. Like, I'm not the smartest student by any means, and he makes it so ACCESSIBLE for me to learn. He's super friendly and funny, but more importantly, he teaches with a clarity that I've never seen any professor have. He is one of the best explainers out there, and it would be IMPOSSIBLE to get confused by what he says because he's so good teaching it. I struggled in intermediate 1 a lot, but Hee's teaching style makes acct wayy easier (and dare I say enjoyable??). Also? The workload is WAY reasonable. No busy work, everything we do is straightforward. He tells you EXACTLY what you need to know for the test so you aren't floundering about and confused the week leading up to it. I really respect that his class isn't a guessing game. It doesn't take hours of my week to do the assignments, it's the perfect amount of hw and ughhhh he's just the best. A KING. Take him! (if my last semester self saw that I'm making an A in intermediate 2, I'd be shocked, but he's that good)  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ACC 3303 - I have to agree with the previous comments that there were points where Dr. Hee seemed a little confused about the subject matter but in his defense, it's his first-semester teaching here and he had to teach AIS which is already a confusing subject. He does have to cancel office hours a lot because of his kids which is completely understandable, the silver lining is that he responds to emails very quickly and he's always prepared to help you out. There are four exams and the final. Three exams are from concepts from the textbook and the last exam was split into two parts, one being over PowerBI and the other being over excel. The first three exams weren't too bad but there's always some really tricky questions on them that make it difficult to get a high A. The PowerBI and Excel exams are pretty straightforward. The final is worth 27% of your grade and again, had some really tricky questions on it that make you think critically but it also has a lot of questions that are basically just vocab. Overall, AIS is a sneaky hard class and in my opinion much harder than intermediate 1. Professor Hee will get better at teaching it as he gets more experience. You'll have to teach yourself a lot of material as we don't go over everything that's on the exams during class but that's how it will be with most AIS professors.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3303 - he's an amazing person and really cares about his students but its honestly a 50/50 chance if he knows what he's talking about or is completely lost. cancels office hours a lot but fair bc of his kids. loved taking him as a teacher but just know your probably gonna be teaching yourself a lot of the material.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3303 - I agree with the other reviews on this page. Homework is basically 1-2 every other week. However, while this class is pretty boring and he tells you the info on the test, he is not available and cancels his office hours pretty frequently, specifically the day before the tests. He cares about his students but I just really did not think he could teach that well about this subject, he was confused a lot during some units (Excel and Power BI). Responds to emails fast but is hard to schedule office hours with. Not a bad teacher, but pick your ACC 3301 class first and if the 3303 class pairs up with Hee it is not the end of the world, just get on his good side. I will give him the benefit of the doubt because this is his first semester and class at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3303 - TAKE HIM!! There is no better option than Kevin Hee! He teaches one of the worst classes in accounting and makes it not so bad. The class is hard but it is not because of him. His test are only worth 9% of your grade each so if you do well ok HW & quizzes you can save yourself from failing a test. He interacts well and wants to know his students. TAKE HIM!!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3303 - Dr. Hee is so kind and helpful. He is always aware of your course load for other classes and even sends encouraging emails on Intermediate test days. He helps you understand the material for AIS, although class can be boring at times just due to the content. Tells you what will be on the exam and prepares you for what you actually need to know. Expects participation but does not grade for it and understands when everyone is tired.  - Grade In Class:A
