*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:4368 - Behavioral Finance might be the easiest and yet MOST learning I've ever done in my finance major. All of his concepts, theories, and readings were actually enjoyable to learn about. He talked all class about how it ACTUALLY applies to our lives and futures. This is not just some read off the AI slides and give you a hard exam, kind of class. This is what all classes should be modeled after. YES there is the dreaded discussion posts, but that is the ONLY work you have. The midterm was free if you studied for like 2 hours on a quizlet. There is a final paper instead of a final exam, and it's super easy, you get to write it about anything you want and I made mine tailored to me and enjoyable. This is how schools need to change their style to be more like. Man is also very jolly and Christian and prays and is very personable with everyone. TAKE THE CLASS!!! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:4368 - He’s a very intelligent professor and explains the material in a way that makes the concepts easy to understand. We have discussion posts and short writings due before every class, and once in a while he’ll call on people to share with the class, so you do have to come prepared. The online midterm was so easy because the homework and in-class examples prepared us so well. The workload is super minimal overall. We get three “free” absences where we just watch the Zoom recording or send him a summary, and only after that do absences start affecting your grade. There is a final research paper that’s a bit challenging because of the length, but it’s totally doable if you keep up with the class. It’s genuinely difficult not to get an A in this class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:FIN 4368 - Great finance elective to take senior year. Same workload every week, and the midterm is very easy. The only remotely challenging aspect of the course was the research paper, but he lets you write it on pretty much anything, so it was enjoyable. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3310 - This man is fantastic. Super knowledgeable. He made class fun every day. He used MyLab Finance for homework and exams, which was really helpful. There were also dynamic study modules that modeled what the exams would look like. He always made himself available, engaged with us in class, and got to know as much about each person as he could. Take this man. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3310 - Dr. Davidson is probably one of my favorite professors I have ever had at Baylor, so much that I went out of my way to add him to this website. He is always available and encourages students to meet up with him after class and even outside of class for coffee and the like. He is a devout Christian and always incorporates Biblical messages into the world of finance. He puts an emphasis on engagement and really gets you invested in the subject. His tests were open note, open everything and were very manageable. Take Dr. Davidson, he is the nicest guy at Baylor. - Grade In Class:A
