Comments:MUS 3315 - Dr. Zeiss is a LOVELY professor. In order to succeed in this class, you must put in ample work and time. The more you participate, the better you will do. This is also a result of the fact that tests are all essay type response and the more you work and show up in class, the higher the grade you will get on those. She is very wonderful and her use of technology was great! Very nice and doable course to take.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 - I think that Dr. Zeiss is a wonderful professor and an excellent teacher. If you think the music she plays is boring, then you simply aren't a well-rounded musician. Baroque music can be very enjoyable if you give it a chance and know what to listen for. She writes on the whiteboard a lot which is awesome for the visual learner. I think the lectures are very organized and she moves around a lot, instead of talking from one place the entire time. She gives you everything that is going to be on the test. No surprises. Be prepared to write a 10 page research paper, which she will grade meticulously, but it's not a big deal if you just start early. This class requires you to study. Welcome to college.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3325 - MUS 3325 - DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!! Her tests were extremely hard and vague and she is boring in lectures. She also grades very hard. She is difficult to work with and can be awkward to talk to. She isn't good at answering student questions. AVOID THIS CLASS IF YOU CAN!  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:Music History - RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN. If you are reading this you probably have no choice but to take her because she is the only one that teaches it, but she is ridiculous. No matter how hard you try, you will never do good enough. I spent DAYS working on my research paper and got a freakin D on it. Her tests are hard and she is as boring as can be.   - Grade In Class:B

Comments:Music his 2 - I think Dr. Ziess is very knowledgeble in her subject. As long as you attend class and take proper notes her tests are very predictable. I enjoyed her class very much.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3325 & 4325 - Dr. Zeiss can teach, you just have to figure out her style. Take notes in class - even when she says stuff you wouldn't think matters. Write it all down and study it. Thats what the tests will be on. She's a Quaker, and pretty shy, so she can be just a little odd, and she doesn't really like confrontation. She's a cool enough lady though - and 4325 was one of my favorite classes here at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1220 - Dr. Zeiss is boring as all get out! However the class is easy! I slept through almost every class, but still maintained an A. In order to pass her tests, you just have to look through the book and highlight every bold faced word and study its definition that's it! All in all, she's strange, but the class is definitely one of the easiest, I have taken.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1220 - Run. Run away as fast as you can. If you're not up to dancing around on stage in the morning don't take her!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1220 - all I have to say is Nap time...okay she's a nice lady but sometimes makes you do some weird things like getting on a stage in dancing. Not too bad of a class, but I recomend taking another class.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:music history 2 - Dr. Zeiss is nothing more than average. Her tests are very hard and in depth and she doesn't at all prepare you for what is going to be on them. Her listening tests are not good indicators of what you know. You can correctly identify every piece and composer and still make a c, which I did a couple of times, because she asks a bunch of pointless and vague questions. She grades very hard and counts off when she shouldn't. Take her class and do well on the papers and the written tests in order to make an A.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1220 - Zeiss is on okay teacher, the workload isn't bad but you do have to put in some time for the tests. The worst thing all togethetr is that it is sooo boring, dont take it in the morning. If you put in some time you should make at least a B.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1220 - She really gets into what she's teaching. Sometimes there are guest musicians, she'll play music, or we'll videos. It's some what entertaining, but the class overall isn't as easy as you would expect it to be. You have to study for the tests, but all the other outside assignments are really easy. Another teacher might be easier than her...ask around...I don't know.   - Grade In Class:B

Comments:na - Do not take this class in the morning. The music she plays will put you to sleep.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:A very nice lady. She does teach intro. to music like it's a real class. But as long as you show up to class, you can even miss a few days, and it's still easy to get an A.

Comments:Okay so Zeiss isnt really bad, but she treats intro to music like it's a real course. So if you want to have a blow off class dont take Zeiss. It's still not hard, but over a hundred pages of reading for a music test is hard to do for me.
