Comments:GTX 3331 - Dr Drahos is the coolest GTX professor I've studied with. I was a UNSC freshmen and took GTX 3331 with her in the spring in tandem with GTX 2302, and it was one of the most life-giving classes I've taken at Baylor thus far. Dr Drahos, perhaps, is slightly easier than Dr Neilsen in terms of paper expectations (speaking from experience!), but she still has high standards for writing which any prof would have. Some may say Dr Drahos is hard but in my opinion this is what you sign up for in a GTX class, and every part of it is a joy. Dr Drahos is full of grace and kindness and open to the wildest of ideas. If you love crazy ideas that blow your brain up, you will LOVE Dr Drahos. She had us do daily commonplace journaling, two midterms which were in class essays (I didn't struggle with these THAT much but some classmates did, you just had to answer the question without fluff, a pretty normal expectation I would say), a creative paper, a semester long project, a final paper, and the final which was three in class essays. We had guidence and as a class talked together about what the in class essays were about. TAKE HER!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2301 - As an engineering student, I don't like anything English or literature related. But her class was awesome! Granted, we have to read so many books in a short period of time but I totally get that and is of course expected going into it. On a week to week basis, we only needed to analyze what we read for the next class on a notecard which was not hard at all. Just put something you thought was interesting from a certain passage and talk about it in a few sentences. She has two essays, one midterm, and a final that she asks you questions and you answer them from any of the books. All these were not hard at all. Her class time was filled with discussion and some days we'd do debates and interactive with each other which made it not a boring class. Overall, she teachings with great enthusiasm because she actually likes what she teaches. I got a B+ mostly because I'm not good at literature since English is my second language. But truly, her class was the best!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:GTX 2301 - I took Drahos for the University Scholar section. She is certainly one of the better professors for the honors college, but you need to be in her mind to get the perfect grades. She isn't open to others opinions well, but we are likely graded harsher than the normal sections.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:GTX 2301 - Dr. Drahos was an absolutely astounding professor. As a student majoring in STEM, I expected this class to be quite boring and honestly pointless. However, Dr. Drahos did a great job of keeping the class atmosphere both highly interactive, and enjoyable. She was my favorite professor during my first semester as a freshman, and I would highly recommend her.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2301 - Drahos was an awesome professor for my GTX course. As a mechanical engineering major, I expected this class to be another boring English course that I would just have to sit through. Instead, because of the professor and the other students in my class, I ended up having an amazing time. While she is a decently harsh grader, she is very helpful with what you can do to improve your writing for a better grade. Her workload is easy to manage with a short response due at each class from the reading with only 2 essays the entire semester. We never took a quiz and only had an Oral Exam as the final. My suggestion for this class is simple, take her as your professor and get a friend or two to take the class with you. You will have a great time and don't be afraid to speak up. You will make your life harder if you aren't willing to participate because she will call on you randomly! A great rule of thumb is to talk once or twice a class and you should be safe! Your classmates are also your friends! Making a group chat to ask about what the next reading was or what essay prompt is the best was a great tool! Drahos overall was great, especially for students who have very little interest in a topic like this.   - Grade In Class:B+
