Comments:3330 - This man is a gem! He truly cares about his students so much and takes the time to know everyone's names. The workload is not bad at all. He is so kind and so helpful  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSY 3330 - Dr A is the best psy professor I've had at Baylor so far and he does a great job with this course! It's a really fun course content wise and Dr A makes it even better. You can tell he's really passionate about the content and teaches it very well. This class isn't very demanding nor time consuming. There are weekly assignments due through canvas that are essentially weekly reflections of the class and concepts learned that week. The exams are also taken online through canvas -- which is nice because you can get immediate grade feedback. Throughout my semester Dr A changed the date of a few assignments and moved some of his syllabus timing around in order to accommodate us and the other work he knew we had in our other classes! I've never had a professor make such great accommodations for his students. This class was quite fun and truly a breeze! I was worried it was going to be my hardest class going into the semester and it ended up being the one I worried about the least. Dr A is a real great professor and you can tell he loves his students and loves what he does. He's a super fun guy and makes lectures as engaging and interesting as he can. I wish Dr A taught more things because I would love to take him for all my psy classes!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3330 - Dr.A is the best professor I've ever had. He truly cares about ALL of his students. You can tell that he teaches because he loves it and wants to share his knowledge rather than to prove that he's smarter than you (like a lot of other psych profs). He clearly explains the material and makes it extremely easy to stay engaged. The homework is one weekly assignment that is application-based and super interesting. Tests are not too difficult if you do the study guide and pay attention in class. His office is off campus, which is annoying, but that has not stopped any of his students from going to him for help in class or just to talk. I would absolutely take any class that Dr.A offers.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3330 - Dr. A is the best professor I have ever had at Baylor. He is engaging and is great at making any topic interesting. I have his class at 3:30 Tues/Thurs (which I would usually dread a class at that time) and I don't mind going in the slightest because he is so great. He genuinely cares about students and how to help us best learn. On the first day of class he learned all 40 of our names. I would take any class that was taught by him. The weekly assignments are super interesting and I usually look forward to doing them, and the tests are straightforward as long as you pay attention in class and put effort in. He is hands down the best teacher I have ever had.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3330 Psychopathology - Dr. A was definitely one of the best professors I've ever had. I have never been so excited to attend a class as I have been with this class and that is in large part due to Dr. A. He found a way to make every class interesting while teaching us the content in a way that was understandable and memorable. Dr. A was also very adamant about his willingness to meet with students outside of class to discuss career options, graduate school, or class content. I feel more prepared to use class content in the real world than I ever have. Definitely recommend taking any class taught by Dr. A!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3330 - Genuinely the best class I have had in my three years at Baylor. Dr.A cares so deeply for his students and makes class enjoyable. Most professors are very difficult to work with as a student-athlete, but Dr.A has been beyond understanding and helpful. He is always available for his students, via in-person or online. Every assignment we do is extremely doable and fun to do. Lectures are beyond entertaining and informative. I have not learned and been as passionate about any of my classes, like Psychopathology, not because of the subject but because of Dr.A's teaching. BEST PROF EVER  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Theories of Psychotherapy - He's one of the best professors I've taken at Baylor. He made the class unbelievably easy to do well in, and it seems like he genuinely cares about us. The only thing I will say is that sometimes the lectures can be a little boring, but other than that, he's one of the most helpful and kind professors I have ever met in my 4 years at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3308 - Dr. A is a great professor. He truly cares about his students and makes it a point to remind us often and ee how we're doing. This class was helpful to learn about all the major theories and how to apply what you learn even to your personal life. Even though the content of the class was not always interesting, Dr. A did his best to make it engaging and had videos in the lecture that broke it up well. I cannot say more good things about Dr. A!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSY 3308 - Dr. A is the BEST! He made the class fun and interactive, taking a lot of stress off of grades. He wanted us to come out of the class having learned something. The workload is super easy, one assignment a week on canvas which was fun and helped me learn the material, and then a midterm and final for which he gives a study guide. There is also a book report but you can choose the book you read for it as long as it relates to therapy and it's only 2-3 pages in length. Take him if you can he is one of my favorite professors at Baylor!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PSY 3308 - Psychotherapy & Counseling: Each week, an Experiential Assignment is due- an interactive assignment that is based on the type of therapy you learn about that week. They are completion grades. There is a midterm, final, and book report. He gives study guides, and the tests are multiple choice/short answer/true, false/etc. The material in the class is interesting and not too difficult to grasp. Dr. A makes the material fun and interactive. He's very available for questions and is very helpful! I would recommend taking him for any class he is teaching!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3308 - Dr. A is really funny and he knows a lot about the subject. The class is pretty chill. The course load includes a midterm, final, book report, and weekly hw. The weekly hw is just completion and you only have one a week. He makes the hw an extension of either the lecture in class or some of the activities we do at the end of class so I wouldn't say it's busy work. I would recommend taking this class with Dr. A, he's a great professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3308 - Theories of psychotherapy. Dr. A is the best. I’m still in the course, but in case you are looking at who to take next semester for the classes he teaches, take Dr. A!!! He’s the most caring professor ever, and he’s so funny. He makes jokes every class, and he’s trained in hypnosis. He does a lot of activities to make us understand the material more. His powerpoints are really easy to understand, and the class is super chill (but I still feel like I’m learning a lot). Experiential assignments every week (homework based on completion, but they’re basically reflections related to the content of the week). Midterm and final mostly multiple choice (he gives study guides with all you need to know for the tests) and a short book report on a therapy book. Take him take him take him no matter what he’s teaching. He cares so much about his students, and helps us not be stressed. I wish I could take him for other classes. You’ll get an A as long as you show up and put in basic effort. He makes it easy to pay attention. Love going to class.  - Grade In Class:A
