Comments:3338 - I have had Dr. Abell for multiple french courses all at different levels. In the lower level French courses, his classes are easy but engaging. You will learn a lot with no a super heavy workload. In the upper level French courses, his class workload is very heavy. It is all to help you learn more but it will challenge you immensely. You have to have a few hours to write out journals, study for daily quizzes, and do the homework as well. He has the most exams that I have ever had for a course. His exams include multiple choice, reading identifications, and essays. Even while his class is challenging, he is a amazing teacher and he does not want you to fail!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3302 - Dr. Abell is the best. Such a warm and friendly guy, super flexible and willing to work with you, and he really did help me improve my French a lot. I'd take him over and over again. You'll love him!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FRE 3310 - Dr. Abell is one of those professors that I will always take his class with. He is a great teacher, understanding, and he never has too much work. I took him as a lab instructor last year and saw my French improving tremendously. He is a fantastic teacher to take if you are just learning French but just as amazing if you are taking him to the upper level.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Dr. Abell might be one of my favorite French professors at Baylor! He’s funny, clear at teaching, and very good at French. He always made sure we knew what was going on and especially never made us feel dumb. TAKE HIS CLASS and I promise you, you won’t regret it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3302 - THIS MAN IS A KING! he is literally the nicest human, the class is super easy, and yes it was boring at some points, but soooooo worth it. an easy A while he helps you be a better french speaker with one on one meetings as quiz grades (basically completion) to discuss how you can improve! take him !!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2320 - Extremely easy A. Also thought it was pretty boring. Did not learn much or gain any speaking ability, but it's a class you have to take and he's an easy and fun one to take it with.  - Grade In Class:A
