Comments:Spanish 2310 - Her lectures were incredibly enjoyable with all the grammar practice you need and a sprinkle of cultural information. The homework was all on vhl and it wasn't too hard. The in-class essays were super easy as well, and she allowed redos on all of them by the end of the semester. Her tests covered everything well, and she provided helpful study guides every time. You can pretty easily obtain an A with prior Spanish experience, but if you don't have any, it's not going to be "easy" per say. However, if you're going to take Spanish, she's THE professor to take it with. Love her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:SPA 2310 - Professor Smith is one of the best Spanish instructors I’ve had at Baylor. She truly cares about her students and creates a welcoming, encouraging classroom. She is approachable and kind while still maintaining high academic standards. The homework load is consistent and helps reinforce what we learn in class. Tests are fair and based on the lectures and textbook, but you do have to study to do well. She balances compassion with rigor. She challenges students to speak confidently, think critically, and truly understand the language. If you put in the effort, you will leave her class with stronger Spanish skills and real confidence in your progress. Baylor is fortunate to have her.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1302 - I had professor Smith for SPA 1302 Lab and it was by the easiest lab ever. There were short quizzes at the end of class that were so easy and she allots the last 15 minutes of class to do it. It took me max 5 minutes to do. Every lab she let us out early. We had 2 presentations and she is a easy grader. I would definitely take her again. Last semester I dreaded going to lab but I didn't mind it and actually enjoyed it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2310 R - She's such a fun professor; even though it's a lab, I never missed class and was always happy to be there. Course work is easy. I only had two presentations to work on outside of class, but it was extremely manageable. However, at the end of each class, you do have a quiz, which is super easy but based off of what you did in class that day.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - I cannot stress enough to take this professor. She is so so awesome. Last semester for 1301 I had a different professor who made me spanish experience a living hell and barely scathed by with a flat 80 even with putting in hours a day.Professor Smith is very understanding and kind. She gives extra credit, allows corrections for writting assignemtns and sometimes quizes. Her tests are pretty easy as long as you put in effort to study. She's not an easy A, you still have to put in effort, but compared to my last professor in the baylor spanish department she is a godsend.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:SPA 2310 - Dr. Smith is a pretty good professor. The only real complaint that I have is that it feels like she kind of glazes over the material. Overall, the workload isn't too bad, and she's a pretty lenient grader. I would definitely recommend her, and I would bet that she is the best professor you can take for Intermediate Spanish.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Professor Smith works really hard to make learning engaging. Most of class is spent doing different activities to practice grammar/vocab, and lectures are pretty short and to the point. Compared to other Spanish profs, the workload is better, but it's still Spanish. She's not a super harsh grader either. Overall she's really nice and definitely I'd recommend her  - Grade In Class:C+
