Comments:1420 - In Short, DO NOT TAKE HER. #1 She is condescending so you'll never want to ask questions or for help, and she refuses to explain her instructions on assignments. #2 She is unavailable by email at all times, especially friday-sunday. #3 The material in the quizzes is NOT covered during the lecture, you will be googling most answers and the rest will be so niche you won't find them in your notes until your 10 minutes is up for the quiz. #4 She takes forever to grade assignments but refuses late work or makeup work even if you're literally dying. #5 She's just a bad teacher, she rushes and doesn't explain anything.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:HP1420 - Good teacher, knows what she is talking about, but for the purpose of this class and actually learning about anatomy, she rarely cares about it. She is usually teaching us about real world applications versus what is on the test. She is also unreachable by email.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:2306 - Dr. Smith is a newer Baylor professor, reflected through her teaching ability. She is very rushed and doesn't cover the key topics in depth. This makes preparing for her weekly quizzes difficult, which everyone in the class fails. My class had to come to a vote to lower the overall percentage weight of the quizzes. This does not reflect well upon her teaching. She is a newer professor and does not have an office on campus. It is nearly impossible to meet up with her for "office hours". Her workload involved, packbacks due every Sunday, weekly quizzes over the PowerPoint you covered that week, along notes sheets she assigns to help you along with her PowerPoint. This class was Anatomical Kinesiology, and our main grade came from a bundle of short-term assignments, that built our long-term assignment. This consisted of us researching a specific joint pathology and creating various projects from this pathology. She grades insanely hard, her quizzes are impossible to pass, and all her work does not help you understand the subject at hand. The only reason I even got an A was because of how much effort I put into our projects. She even had to curve the whole class grade due to everyone failing. DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Please save yourself the trouble and endless nights of crying.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:HP 2306 - This is the worst class I have taken at Baylor so far. This isn't even a level 3000 or 4000 course, but she expects us to put in the same amount of effort. She gives a tremendous amount of busy work that most of the class probably doesn't even understand because her teaching ability is non-existent. She teaches by reading 200-slide powerpoints and expects everyone to understand the concepts. The quizzes are extremely difficult and most of the time, the entire class fails them. She also doesn't drop any quizzes. There aren't any exams, but she has short-term assignments that are due every 2-3 weeks and she gives you a very vague description of what she's expecting. She is a very harsh grader and expects you to know what she wants. I don't think I learned anything in this course and it's almost over. I was expecting this to be a fairly easy class compared to upper-level anatomy or other stem courses, but this is my hardest class so far. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE AND SAVE YOUR GPA!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:HP 2306 - DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! I am a pre-PT student who is very interested in the human body and this class is making me HATE the subject. She gives a ridiculous amount of work, "teaches" by reading powerpoints that the text book made (which are like 150 slides each), and gives quizzes that the whole class fails (no curve). Multiple people have approached her about their grade (I have a C in here and I got an A in Parizi's anatomy and Tandy's Hphys, 3.9 GPA) and she responds with "grades don't really matter, it just matters if you understand the content and your grades might not be a reflection of that". How hypocritical???? I'm trying to get into grad school, thank you. She also gives assignments that require a lot of research and writing, which is annoying but I wouldn't mind if she didn't grade so harshly. I did exactly what her (vague) rubric said and got a 70. She is also not kind and hard to reach. This class is seriously so unfair I'm thinking about going to the dean. DON'T TAKE HER!!!  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:2306 - TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!! she gives impossible quizzes that everyone fails. Her other assignments also average around a C. Terrible professor who has no regard for students' grades.   - Grade In Class:B
