Comments:3367 - Honestly, Professor Patterson is not a bad option to take! She is super sweet and pays a lot of attention to detail. Easy courseload. My one complaint is that she is pretty boring and gets wrapped up in talking about herself. Overall, a super sweet woman.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:JOU 4368 - Doing this mid-semester to help y\'all register for courses- HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROFESSOR PATTERSON. She is the sweetest professor ever, and truly wants students to succeed. This class is not hard (weekly assignments that take very little time), but the internship component will determine your semester. Don\'t be like me and take max credit hours while applying to law schools. You will feel like you have no free time. Overall tho, please take a class with Professor Patterson. She is the best!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3372 - Take any of her classes; she is so wonderful. Protect her at all costs, nothing more to say, she is an amazing prof and she knows what she is teaching. She is more than willing to help you with whatever you are going through in class and is truly a gem!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3372 - She is the nicest woman and an amazing professor. The class was good practice for writing even though I don’t plan on going into media writing. There were some skills I can certainly say I took away from the class that I can apply to others. The workload is so light, one written piece a week that was about a page or two. There’s a midterm multiple choice exam, if you lightly study for you will be fine. The final is a in person presentation from a speaker that you record and take notes on and then you go home and write a piece on the presentation. The classes are super light (sometimes boring but that’s just the subject) but she always let us out early. Absolutely take this class with her!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:JOU 3367 - Professor Patterson is very kind. Sometimes her lectures can get a bit boring but she is a very easy grader and gives you a good grade as long as you demonstrate effort. She is also very personable and uses a lot of real world examples. Make sure you come to class to discuss your discussion post because she takes off if you miss class that day. But the discussion is super chill and low stakes.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:writing for media market - she is such a great professor! She is super super nice and has so much real world experience and wants to share that with you such a down-to-earth person and loves learning from all of her students and loves connecting with them too if you have the chance to take a class with her you should so do it no matter what major you are literally great woman awesome. I could talk about her forever and even like she just wants you to come to her office hours and talk with you cause she just wants to get to know people and it’s such a great person I could talk forever about her literally yeah  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3367 - I'd actually die for this woman. She is an ANGEL and I love her SO much. Her class is my absolute favorite! The coursework is literally so easy, but it's all super interesting. I am actually learning practical things about public relations and she just makes it so much fun. She knows a lot of people in the PR world and seems very knowledgable. Definitely take her if you can and cherish your time in her class because she is the absolute best!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:jou 3372 - Kim slays! She is one of the nicest and greatest professors I have ever had. She really cares about us and cares about what she teaches. She has lots of actual work experience, and she knows what she is talking about. If you can take any class with her, do it! 3372 (writing for media markets) you have a departmental final at the end of the semester but she really prepares us for it!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3367 - Sweet Professor Patterson, she is an angel!! Please take her if you can! She is so kind, understanding, and knowledgable. Assignments are easy (open book online quizzes, writing assignments, and discussion posts) + a group final project. The group final project can be frustrating if you want things done a certain way and your group isn't at that level, but overall still easy. Average class grade on every assignment was a 90+. She truly wants to get to know her students and help in any way possible. Truly my favorite professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2303 - She is very helpful and kind. Knows what she is talking about and is very experienced with advertising. She does give the most random assignments that are not really beneficial and some do take a lot of time.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3367 - THE BEST!! She is new to Baylor but has a TON of real-world experience in the PR field. All the work applies to the work you would do in the PR field, and she is a very easy grader!! There is one chapter of a book you read a week and a a superrrr easy online weekly quiz. No test final just a PR plan that you have weeks to work on. She is super sweet and you can tell she really enjoys what she does and she wants her students to succeed. There is definitely a good bit of writing, but that comes with any journalism class. She also structures her class well so she doesn't give you lots of assignments on Halloween or Homecoming weeks.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3372 - Easy A. Great lady, she knows a lot. The class is small so you get to know her and the other students pretty well. Some of the assignments are pointless, but you'll spend little time on them.   - Grade In Class:A
