Comments:1310 - Meg was a G. Assigned maybe 3 essays throughout the whole semester, cancelled class at least once a week, and everything was done in class. Idk why she's getting slammed in these comments, she was my favorite prof  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Fall 2023 - Class was disorganized almost every time, would make decisions about what we were going to do in class while the class was happening. Seemed very much as though we were the first class she has ever taught. She gave the impression that she wanted each class to hurry up and be over as much as we did. She also spoke way too quietly and made me feel as though there was a vast distance between where we were sitting and where she was, when it was only 20 feet. I did enjoy that the workload was relatively light (coming from a STEM guy who dislikes English), it was 3 decently long essays throughout and 3 or 4 30min participation activities that would somewhat go with the essays per week. Instructions in person weren't very clear because she was so quiet, and she very much was also unsure of what she was expecting for about half of the activities, and the online activities were just as unhelpful. I will say the posted examples of the essays helped me see what she was looking for in them, and it helped me get an A. I would try to avoid this professor, if possible, though the workload is better than a lot of other English professors.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG 1310 - A horrible professor does not know what she is doing. Save yourself and don't take her. She shows no passion for teaching and is the worst professor i have had at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG 1310 - Very disorganized, it was like a 10 year investigation every time I wanted to know what was due and when. Takes forever to grade anything, and she kind of mumbles her way through lectures, which are boring and tedious. In class activities have nothing to do with the essays we write, so I have no idea what is going on half the time.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG 1310 - She puts everything on slides and just read through it, which I did all the time during my high school presentations. And the atmosphere was so awkward that I can feel everyone in my class just wanted to get it over with.  - Grade In Class:DROP

Comments:ENG 1310 - Avoid! I took this teacher in the fall and it was rough. For a college level english class I expected way more and I was disappointed. It was very hard to stay engaged in her class due to the lack of communication, passion, and clarity in the classroom on her part. Additionally, there was a lack of communication through Canvas and Email. Assignments without deadlines, instructions, or any guidance were more common than not, and her response time was very poor. If I could go back I would have picked another professor.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1310 - I hated this class. This might have been her first year teaching and if I'm honest she was terrible. She mumbles when speaking, seems like she never knows what she is talking about, and when asked questions by students she never knows how to answer. She does not explain assignments clearly, or post dead lines properly. She is not mean but she can grade hard. She also takes an excessively long time to grade assignments and to give feedback. Overall, I personally would not take this class with her.  - Grade In Class:B
