*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:MUS 1321 - No clue how her ratings are low, super easy class and she was engaging (even in an 8am) I would absolutely take her again, a field trip to the library and a couple smartbook assignments. Other than that 3 exams which she holds a review where she goes through it question by question and tells you what to know and 2 short essays that take no more than 2 hours and she grades very lightly on them. If you need the fine art take her. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:MUS 4344 - Extremely knowledgeable, educated, and passionate about some very very niche topics. Definitely a lecture-heavy teaching style that can get boring and the workload was demanding, but I had her for organ literature and not the general music course, which I suspect is much easier. She's a nice person and can be quite funny! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - Overall class was easy. Just do the practice tests, and at least try to pay attention during the lecture and you'll be fine. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - Anyone who struggles in this class is a fucking moron. She just straight up gives you the exams and the final. I do not know how you can possibly get anything below an A in the class; I could only imagine the reality if you just did not take her exams and turned in the papers. Dude you can jork your shit in the back of class while watching skibbi toilet and then do the pre exam and memorize the answers word for word. The longest time I took to take one of her exams was 7 minutes for a 70 question test, only reason it wasnt sub 5 because its a paper test with a scantron. You might be one of the unfortunate losers of the mechanism that determines whether or not your chromosomes were properly duplicated if you dont get an A in this class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - Y'all are a bunch of haters. This class is really easy. If you don't get an A, you really didn't put in minimal effort. Yes, the McGraw hill assignments are a little annoying, but if thats all the hw I get for a class, I'm happy. Dr. Dokter is very nice. She gets very excited about the topics she teaches. The lectures can be long and a little boring, but I guess thats what you get with an easy A intro Music class. Also, TAKE THE PRACTICE TESTS that she posts! They are exactly like the real test. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - This woman is incredible.TAKE HER She has a couple of homeowrk assignments that are annoying but arent bad at all. She also has two writing assignments that are so easy and took no time at all and gave out 100 for, format is a little weird but she helps you. She has two exams which she gives you a practice quiz which is WORD FOR WORD IN ORDER OF THE EXAMS. I got 100 on all of them. Her final was the exact same thing. Her class is boring and i barely went but this was the easiest class ever. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - AVOID HER. This whole class sucked. I tried to stick it out the whole semester, but I ended up skipping every class after spring break. The only good thing about her class is the fact that she uses a QR code for attendance and, once you have it, you can use the same link to fill out the Google form for the rest of the semester. Her teaching style is nothing more than standing in front of a lecture hall and blabbering about a powerpoint. All of the homework assignments are online and take like an hour to finish and feel like banging your head against a wall but if you try enough times, you will get a 100. There were only two writing assignments the whole semester which was nice but you had to follow a hyper-specific format style that she pulled out of her ass. They weren't too difficult to complete as long as you could fake an emotional connection to classical music. I would only recommend her course to someone who has a musical background because that is legitimately the only reason I didn't fail the course. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - This professor should not be teaching this class. This was a basic freshman level fine arts credit class and she made it unnecessarily difficult. The online homework assignments take at least an hour to complete, the tests are very long and specific, her lectures are extremely hard to pay attention to because of how boring they are, and she couldn't figure out canvas until after the final exam. I did not know my grade in the class until after I turned in my final. Thankfully it was an A because the final exam questions were the same as the previous test questions. Do not take her for this class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1321 - This professor was new to Baylor University and she was not great. Lectures were extremely boring and the exams were unnecessarily hard. There were two essays you had to write during the semester. They were annoying, and she wanted a super specific writing style and citation. She didn't have a review for the first exam but for the second and final she did. She cannot use Canvas at all. She gave the exams back and that's the only reason I could calculate my grade before the final. This was the only fine arts credit I had to take and I DO NOT recommend music, at least not with her. I only got an A because she said the final would have previous questions on other exams and I just memorized those. Overall worst professor I've had at Baylor so far. If you can take another professor I would recommend it. - Grade In Class:A
