Comments:3310 - If you're taking her in person I actually feel terrible for you. I have no idea why she's the one professor that has to teach this required course but sadly she is. I actually can't stand her. She has this insanely negative aura to her and is not good at her job AT ALL. Never written a review before but I'm not letting this go unsaid. Comments:4303 - Dr. Roeder should teach a class on how to set up online classes. She makes the workload manageable by having you watch lectures, read the textbook, and then answer some questions about the content every two weeks. There are two completely open-note exams (you get fifteen points for making a reference sheet), and two projects: one where you interview a leader you respect, and one that’s your recap of the class. I learned so much from her even in an online format and couldn’t recommend her enough.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4303 - This class is so straightforward. If you need an online comm credit, look no further. Her lectures are easy to follow and its obvious what content will be on projects and tests if you're paying attention. She also does a few extra credits and was really good about creating the schedule and structure of an in person class. I wish I could have done this class in person but it was super manageable for online! Highly recommend!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4303 - I do not recommend this course. She gives little to no instruction for all assignments. Even her syllabus says that when you meet her expectations you get a C. I haven't met anyone who has gotten an A. She makes you do discussion boards which you think are simple. BUT NO. I got a bare minimum score for a post that was the length of an essay for 4 short answer questions. The standard she holds for her students is unattainable and unmanageable.  - Grade In Class:D

Comments:4303 - I took this class online and found it to be pretty manageable. A few writing posts and a final project. She also had us conduct an interview with a leader we respect which was actually a really cool experience. If you keep up with the content online the class is actually interesting and you won’t be too stressed.   - Grade In Class:A
