Comments:3315 - Take professor Weaver if you can. She is such an amazing woman and is willing to help all of her students succeed. Her exams were extremely hard but she barely weights them so even if you were to completely bomb them I think you would be fine. Her final simulation was also the highlight of my entire academic semester, if not my time at baylor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3315 - A QUEEEN! I ended up taking this after having to drop a bad international relations professors class last semester. She was probably so tired of me by the time class ended just because I loved this class. Some notes to make sure of whenever you are taking this class: - SHOW UP FOR THE DISCUSSION. Its an easy 100. Just do it. - Focus on your weekly writings, it will help because she does have pretty hard exams. - The lecrtures are important, don't just take notes based off of the slides. Maybe take notes about the readings as well. - DON'T underestimate that first test. I was crushing the class until I got a 75 on the first exam. They aren't trick questions, it's a fair, but hard exam. Other than those tips, Professor Rhodes-Weaver was awesome. She's funny, willing to talk unabashedly about the content, and a great lecturer. I also really liked the simulations, as stressful as they can be in practice. Def take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3315 - JESSICA MY QUEEN!!! THE BEST FUNDIP PROF!! Her workload every week consists of around 20 pages of reading (max) and a current event article tying the subject/ concept to what's going on in real life. I loved this method as her class relied upon discussion (every Wednesday), the articles every week (due on Tuesday before discussion), and two low weighted tests. The tests were difficult, but only if you didn't crack open your notes and review them a few days in advance. If you know and understand the concepts well, you will absolutely do fine. I love Professor Weaver because she is detailed, yet not in a way that makes your head explode. She is detailed in the way she makes learning easy to follow and fun (you get to simulate world issues with fun people!)! I loved her class, it was low stress, yet I learned so much more because the learning style was practical and easy to follow. I can still tell you about what I learned in August and that's why Jessica Weaver is the best. Take her and you get the most understanding, organized, fair, and kind professor in the department!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3315 - JESSICA WEAVER is the BEST professor and BEST person ever. She is my favorite professor that I have ever had at Baylor. She is young and super smart. She cares about her students and always chats with them before class. I recommend getting to class 5-10 min early if you can because she is a wonderful lady to get to know. Causes of War is such an interesting class and I learned so much with her. I took this class after Fundamentals of International Politics which I recommend because it has similar content. You do have to do some work in this class but everything I did was interesting and added to my knowledge. If you take any class at Baylor, take this one with this professor she is great and I will always remember this class.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3315 - Professor Weaver is without a doubt the best prof in the political science department. Her lectures are very easy to learn from and she speaks slowly enough that you should have no trouble taking notes. This class was far more relaxed than any of my other PSC classes which made it a very comfortable learning environment. Class participation is a large part of your grade but it is very easy to earn the weekly credit on discussion day. The workload in this class is very reasonable, with weekly assigned readings, weekly news article summaries, 2 in-class simulations (similar to model UN), and 2 larger multiple-choice/short-answer tests.  - Grade In Class:A
