Comments:1300 - I LOVED THIS CLASS!! The idea of taking any history course makes me dread everything. However, when I noticed Dr. H offered this mandatory course with a focus on Latin American History/ Civil Rights, I jumped at the opportunity to take it, and MAN!! Thank goodness I did. I loved this class and Dr. Hinojosa's enthusiasm to teach the course everyday. He is very chill, as long as you are respectful of his time (listen and pay attention in lecture) and do your work. I was mainly worried about the pop quizzes every couple of classes, but if you read and take notes on the main points you should be fine. It is a history class, so expect at least 4 papers to be written. They are not hard at all, if you write with appropriate grammar, and punctuation.. and he can see that your tried, you will probably get an A. Overall, I would recommend this course and professor to anyone I meet. I am a STEM major and I am willingly replacing my upper level literature course with an upper level history course just because HE is teaching it. Dr. H is awesome and very personable. Comments:1300 - Best history teacher I’ve ever had. Made a BUbooks account to rate him. The only slightly difficult thing in his class are the pop quizzes, one question and can hurt your grade a lot. If you go to office hours you’ll be good to go on midterms and his papers. About 4 short papers, not long at all and very manageable. Also, with quizzes he offers extra credit opportunities to make a couple up. He’s a great guy. Utilize office hours every now and then and you’ll get an A no problem.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - TAKE HIM!!! He is funny, easy, and such a good person. He made history fun and interesting! Lessons are kind of all over the place, but he always revisits. There are pop quizzes over the reading that are only 1 question, but they are pretty easy. His classes are never boring. Very kind and a great guy. Absolutely loved this class for a 1300 history!   - Grade In Class:A
