Comments:GEO 1305 - I took the wintermester course so obviously there was a lot of work because it was fast paced. We had modules that were from a textbook and reading that corresponded to it but wasn't grading. He gave us slideshows from previous semesters to help us as well. The tests were 40-45 multiple choice questions and weren't bad at all. He also let us have a one sided notes sheet for each exam. Basically if you looked through the slideshows and did the modules you would be good. We had discussion posts and responses but those weren't bad at all. The final was a presentation on a topic we chose which also wasn't bad. He was really understanding and great about getting back to any emails I had. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1405 - Dan is THEE man! Such a fun class and lab, Dr. Peppe makes geology so fun and so interesting! There are 5 exams, each exam you can bring a sheet of notes, and the labs are super engaging and never take the full time. Dr. Peppe is super funny, willing to help you, and learns everyone's name, which is so awesome for a larger class. If you need to take a 4 credit hour science, TAKE HIM! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1405 - Cannot recommend enough especially for first year required lab. Attached lab has no midterm or final, easily got a 98 and never stayed longer than 30 mins. Final lab grade is worth 25% of actual grade, so huge boost at the end of the semester. Exam is directly from slides in class and you can bring in a cheat sheet. Offered 20% back on 4th exam for attending two extra credit lectures. 90 is the mark for an A, and if you get any lower your's future is probably in communications. Dan is a cool mf too, TAKE THIS CLASS - Grade In Class:A
