Comments:ME 2321 - Professor Rylander is probably the nicest, most available professor I've had. The best part about her class is how many great resources she has available for students in Canvas to study for tests. Homework was probably the worst part about Dynamics because showing all of your work for 15 problems in McGraw-Hill is a lot. However, we had one quiz (identical to a HW problem), and tests were pretty fair overall. You definitely need to put in the time to study for her tests, and know that this class is Physics 1 on steroids; there's a lot of content. Thankfully, she gave us the front and back of a notecard for equations for tests and even the front and back of a whole notebook page for the final. As long as you put the time in to thoroughly study and understand the concepts for her tests and go to office hours (she's super helpful), you will get an A. Professor Rylander is very smart and cares for her students immensely, and I would definitely recommend taking her for Dynamics.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:ME 2320 - Professor Rylander is great. She makes class very fun and entertaining. Some of the homeworks were very time consuming, but they help prepare you for the exams. The exams themselves were very fair and she did a great job of preparing us for them. I highly recommend taking Prof. Rylander for Statics!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Spring 2024 - Professor Rylander was great. She usually teaches sophomore level MechE classes but for 1302 Eng Analysis she was still able to teach at a high level. We had several reading assignments/quizzes, about 8 homeworks, 3 labs, and 2 design projects. However, I believe this is mostly all of the EGR 1302, not just Rylander, not of these were super difficult. There were troubles that might come along with the homeworks, labs or projects, but she and our TA were right there to assist, and you can most likely find someone that knows how to do that specific step or concept or situation correctly. We learned a lot of different concepts such as complex numbers, linear algebra, digital logic, and Matlab. The majority of the class is Matlab programming, functions, script files, plotting, input/output, arrays, etc. In this department, she makes it obvious that during and after class she is willing (and was successful) with any questions we might have. She definitely cared about each of our success in her class. All of the teachers for EGR 1302 were great, and Mrs. Rylander was no exception to this.  - Grade In Class:A
