Comments:3305 - I definitely agree that the only bad part about the class is the exams. It seems like he knows the content isn't really that difficult but tries to make the questions intentionally obscure in order to make the class seem like more of a challenge. Even the group projects ended up being kind of fun towards the end, but there was just the constant feeling that people were being judged and graded more harshly then they should be, especially considering this is a pretty general class. Still ended with an A but it was a pretty thin margin- he does it point based out of 1000 which is fine but missing a few points here or there really adds up and I found myself stressing heavily towards the end. He did offer some extra credit and curves the exams. Overall, good guy who wants good feedback but the class is a little more difficult than it should be.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - My only problem with Watts is his exams. He takes the most easy mundane and obvious topics and creates these intricate weird multi-select questions on the exams. I honestly cant help but laugh sometimes in this class because he is talking about trust and leadership like it is some extremely difficult equation. It really just is common sense. BUT, on the bright side, the assignments are really chill and he is a super easy grader. He also gives curves on the exams and gives a lot of points back at the end of the semester. I honestly didn't hate this class, just seemed a little over the top. But easy!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Exams are insane. So many hypothetical, select the best option but it could be more than 1, type deal. The extra credit saved me and some of the curves. The final is optional and can replace your lowest exam grade. TopHat was a failure but he caught on to that. Participation is a grade. I spoke at least once each class and still did not reach full credit. He is a nice prof but needs to chill sometimes. You stay in class for the full time everytime even if it's not needed. He's a fine prof but def a workload and a lot to study for. If you think you studied enough, no you did NOT. Also did not post slides until a lot of convincing from peers.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - Okay. I REALLY like Professor Watts. He is seriously one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. However, he is clearly still figuring out how to manage a class. His grade book is not updated until the end of the semester, so you have no idea how well you are doing in the class until it's too late. His quiz questions were frequently vague and overly wordy. And the attendance policy. It's outrageous and a significant portion of your grade. I missed two classes for legitimate reasons and they were detrimental. The ethics case and group project were odd to me because they were essays but group projects. Essays are practically not a group project. You want to pick great teammates because you will likely stick with the same group for the entire semester. I really hope Dr. Watts can resolve some of these significant issues, because he is an awesome guy and his delivery of content was engaging and interesting.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3305 - Watts is probably one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Super friendly in class and everything. However, I would not recommend taking his class. The lectures are pretty boring and you have to pay super close attention and take notes because he does not post slides or lecture videos. The quizzes are tricky and confusing for no reason and the averages are super low. Also, attendance and participation is worth an INSANE 26% of your grade. I talked occasionally and only missed a few classes for viable reasons but got an AWFUL grade on it and it dropped my grade significantly. The workload of the class is not crazy difficult at its core. But, you have to contribute meaningfully to the class discussion every class to get points. You must also make sure not to miss any classes under any circumstances because your grade will plummet at the end of the semester if you do. Oh and make sure to watch the syllabus carefully because he does not post anything on canvas until a couple days before it is due. One upside is there are no exams and no textbook. But that also has its downsides when it comes to your grade. As a pretty much straight A student, this class has been a nightmare. It is his first semester teaching and he's got a great heart and cares about his students in class, but I would steer clear until he gets his grading system figured out.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3305 - I don’t know who the people writing these reviews are but this id his first semester teaching and I will agree that this might be the nicest teacher inside the Business School. But I will never take a class like this again, participating is 26 percent of your grade and attendance is a lot of your grade as well. He doesn’t give ANY instructions on projects that he gives you and his quizzes are extremely hard if you even miss one day of notes. I would never recommend taking Watts as a teacher unless your lonely and just need someone to talk to  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:3305 - Watts is super nice and kind of funny. Half his lectures are boring but the other half you play games, have discussions, and watch clips of the office and suits. There are no tests just quizzes and a group project. As long as you take good notes and take group project seriously it's an easy A.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT3305 - Dr. Watts is a great professor with a deep love for his students, subject, and God. I enjoyed learning in his class. He even had some bible studies outside of class with his wife. He made class very engaging, and the content was easy. My biggest issue is just the multiple group projects. He has a great system, and you can pick your partners, but if you don't know anyone you may be screwed. I got a pretty bad grade on the first one because my group didn't do anything, but thats not on Dr. Watts. Just be prepared for group projects. They are graded somewhat hard.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - I highly recommend taking him for management. His workload is super easy and a good portion of your grade is participation. There are no exams but there are 2 major group projects which he gives you plenty of time to work on. He has multiple choice quizzes every now and then but if you took notes in class they are fairly easy. Plus at the end of each one he gives you the opportunity to justify any answers you were unsure about and he will give you points if you got it wrong. Overall he is a good professor who really cares about his students and its a pretty easy class.  - Grade In Class:A
